Introduction
Hello everyone. Flink here with a new and exciting (sort of) competition. A Roleplaying competition. A lot of our users say they're RPers, so Flink thought she'd make a thread for them here in this event. Now, don't think this is a regular RP thread, she'll also be opening one of those, but it'll be seperate from this the actual competition.

RP THREAD IS HERE

What it entails
The various competitions will range from those to test how good you are at coming up with a complete character right on the spot to how well you are at making an intro in a short time. It'll also include silly things designed to make Fli-- Err, the masses laugh and giggle.

How to Play & The Games

QUICK! Introduce Yourself!
Self explanatory really. Make a profile and remember to include a backstory. The skeleton for which will be in the Forms section of this thread. Also note that the backstory cannot be too wordy, but Flink WILL NOT accept one liners.

Introduce yourself will be based on category. I will be giving prizes according to who is the best in the following:
Best written
Funniest
Personal Favorite
Best Gary/Mary

Bonus Rounds

What are they?
While Flink originally wanted to call these "Lightning Rounds" she assures you they will be nothing but. These rounds will be a challenge to see how descriptive you are and how well you can throw together a scene and have it still flow.

There will be a few things she'll be looking for in this challenge. Each will have it's own category so you can submit one part, but be sure to tell her what you're aiming for.

Suggestions:

1. Lengthiness. This one will be for those willing to see who can make the longest attempt at doing something. Bring out your best RP and your descriptiveness!
2. Style. For those who think they have a really nice style!
3. Humor. Make Flink laugh. DO EET.

There WILL be a point system for the Bonus Rounds. The winner of each will get 5 points, you automatically get ONE point for entering. Every post you make in the RP thread, which I will link in the intro will get you 2 points. The one with the most points at the end of the event gets a supah sekret prize! HOOWOO!

You also get 1 point for every 15 posts you make in the RP thread.

RULES & The Forms

Rules

1. Follow the Menewsha TOS.
2. You can include romance in entries when appropriate, but keep it PG13!
3. Do NOT RP in this thread, actual RP will be in a seperate thread. This thread is for chatting.
4. You do not have to actually USE Flink's skeleton for profiles, it's just a guideline.
5. Don't bite the mailman.
6. PM all entries and forms to Flink.

These, you will be doing inside the thread. So it'll save you the time of having to PM Flink. Just be sure to add THIS to the top of your post:

Oh, I gathered that, I simply mean that this is a rather busy week for me IRL, so I've no idea if I can devote enough time to the RPing aspect of the contest (granted I would certainly love to).

Well, if you don't, you can be spared seeing how horrible Flink is at RPing in the RP thread.

Hows this, I....Make a profile and join....and post.....as much as I can.....not guarenteeing it will be alot though.

I'm just going to hang about (Well I'm not hanging upside down... yet) in the other thread until I get the 'feel' for how this thread is going to go. I tend to be on the verbose side when seriously roleplaying... when not so serious, the paragraph length shortens.

Flink completely supports verbose RPers.
