Special Raffle No money is involved for winning this prize, merely how many posts you have total in the thread. There will be a separate raffle for those that have over 10 posts in the thread. When you reach 10 posts you receive a special raffle ticket to be entered for the chance to win [Insert Nifty Prize Here!] Holy cow, right? It's in your best interest to be here and chat with us as much as you can! For every 10 posts you will receive an additional raffle ticket. There are no limitations on how many tickets you can earn during the event. Raffle will happen after the event ends and there will be a thread made to announce the winners. Please keep it friendly in here, hate to have to bounce someone because they couldn't play nice with others. This raffle is SEPARATE from the raffle that requires a person to purchase their tickets. |
Stuff From the Storage Shed: Here's how this goes: 1. Tickets will be 25 gold each 2. No minimum or maximum amount of tickets 3. You can purchase tickets for yourself or anyone else. 4. Mules are allowed to participate, this includes Charity mules. (We're equal opportunity in this alley, no discrimination) 5. Gold for tickets should be sent via the donation button to Queen_Andais (Be sure to include pertinent information in the comment section, i.e. 20 Tickets: 10 for Captain Howdy and 10 for me.) 6. Raffle stays open until the end of the event. |

Pretty sure that is the biggest reason why the event is going slow. Usually there is some forewarning of the impending event. Tends to encourage those that have dropped off to come back and hangout. Hell, it helps folks like me remember that the event is starting shortly.

It's my favorite since it's the time I joined. Without a reminder of when the event would start, people might not realize is started before the actual holiday.
