Elirona's Quest for Lots of Stuff! Pure Love Sash, GET! Thanks, Queen_Andais!
Welcome, my friends! (I don't have a banner, so please bear with me.) This is my quest thread, where I'll work to get a lot of the items on Menewsha. I'm glad you could all join me for this wondrous endeavor! This first post will mostly just be an about me and a directory to the other posts in the thread. About Me I've been a member on Menewsha since 2008, though I've been known to pop in and out on a lot of occasions. I'm a 28-year-old from New Jersey, and I'm working a boring office job. I enjoy playing video games, reading, and chatting with others. I try to be very friendly. About This Quest I'm starting this quest because I plan to stick around on Menewsha this time around, and I figure that starting a quest would give me motivation to stay. The items I'm questing are a lot of CIs and EIs from events I've missed. I also want to get all the shop items, which will be a marvelous undertaking. Anyway, let's get this quest thread moving! Post #2: Contribution Items Since I've been away from Mene for a long while, I've missed a lot of contribution items! This is going to be organized by year, going backwards in time in convenient spoiler bars. So, for instance, I started this quest in June, so the 2014 list is going to start with June and head backwards. The items that are struck are the ones that I already own/were donated to me. 2016 Contribution Items 2016 Contribution Items2015 Contribution Items 2015 Contribution Items2014 Contribution Items 2014 Contribution Items2013 Contribution Items 2013 Contribution Items2012 Contribution Items 2012 Contribution Items2011 Contribution Items 2011 Contribution Items2010 Contribution Items 2010 Contribution Items2009 Contribution Items 2009 Contribution Items2008 Contribution Items 2008 Contribution Items2007 Contribution Items 2007 Contribution ItemsDIRECTORY: Post #1: Welcome and Introductions Post #2: Contribution Items Post #3: Event Items Post #4: Commons, special items, and NPC items Post #5: Mennies Items Post #6: Donations, Trades, and Thank Yous |
Post #3: Event Items Once again, with my being away, I've missed a lot of events. :( This post will be organized by year and the event. Once again, the items that are struck are items that I already own or were donated to me. 2015 Event Items 2015 Event Items2014 Event Items 2014 Event Items2013 Event Items 2013 Event Items2012 Event Items 2012 Event Items2011 Event Items 2011 Event Items2010 Event Items 2010 Event Items2009 Event Items 2009 Event Items2008 Event Items 2008 Event Items2007 Event Items 2007 Event ItemsDIRECTORY: Post #1: Welcome and Introductions Post #2: Contribution Items Post #3: Event Items Post #4: Commons, special items, and NPC items Post #5: Mennies Items Post #6: Donations, Trades, and Thank Yous |
Post #4: Commons, special items, and NPC items Commons Commons aren't a large priority, since they're available forever. So, sending gold for these would probably be best. Though, if you've got spares of some commons, I'd be happy to let you know if I already have them or not. Special Items Special items are commemorative items that were given out for milestones and such, and are no longer obtainable. Special ItemsNPC Items NPC Items are items given out by the NPC users on Menewsha! Post #6: Donations, Trades, and Thank Yous Here's a list of everyone who has donated an item, items, or gold. I would like to thank all of you that have given me something and help me along on this quest! Donations/Trades

@MyFriends; |
*wiggles in*
Welcome to the Quest side! *glomps* Good luck with your questie. |
Thanks, Neph! :3c
Are you looking for male-only commons? I overbought a few for females during the last event store rampage.
I'll take either gender, though male is my preferred gender clothing. :P
Awesome to know! I'll poke around my inventory. Worst case, resell it.
Okay, Elmira. :) You're awesome.
Gah! Not as many duplicates as I thought. My daughter also plays, so I suspect I sent a bunch to her. BUT I shall send these to you along with some golds ;)
Wow, Elmira. Thanks! You're one of the first people on the Donators/Trades list. :)
Woot and you're welcome! I think my daughter, Soki, and I have nearly all of the stuff we're questing for, but I'm still trying to build up a gold stash for events and other questers ;)
Well, you're a huge sweetheart. :)
Thanks, hon! What are you studying in college? Are you on summer break or taking classes?
I'm on summer break right now! I was studying music education, but I'm planning on changing my major to History education. I got rejected from the music program at my first choice school, but I still got in there, so I'm going to study history there next semester. Hopefully. :P
That sounds like fun, actually! Is history education more generalized history or specialized? (I have no idea)
Well, it depends on what history I want to study, I suppose! :P I'm interested in world history and music history, but I'm sure I'll learn American History. :U What do you do for a living, Elmira?
I am a stay-at-home mom. My eldest, Soki, has a disability and has to be homeschooled - also cannot be home alone for too long. She's 16yo and my son is 5yo.
But, I have degrees in anthropology, history (master's in modern US for museum studies and public history), plus a library and information science degree (master's). Goal was to work in an archive, but my kids take precedence over my career. We're trying to enroll her in an online school, but I'd still need to be home until she graduates and is okay to be on her own. So, I spend my time scheming about work at home options. |
Oh, you're incredibly qualified! :O I'm sure you'd make a great archivist, if that's the right term for it. I don't know what to say about your daughter. Is she intelligent? Is there anything she wants to do when she finishes school? :o
Her IQ is above average, but the anxiety issues get in the way. We're working on it and I am very happy to say I see improvements! However, it's up to her therapist - who thinks "normal" is defined along the lines of her peers who don't have the bonus of autism like she does, but are "normal".
Yes, an archivist. Unfortunately, funding is drying up everywhere, so I'm thinking more about digital archive jobs - and there is a company in town that does it. I may contact them to see if I can do an internship or something like that even though I'm finished with school. In the meantime, I'm going to volunteer at the library in my son's school after he starts Kindergarten in August. I assume you play an instrument or sing? My cousin's wife teaches English, but her concentrations in education were mostly with theater. She often talks about the plays and musicals her students put together, and it sounds like fun! |
