Welcome to the Neverending Poem.

I had an idea for the lit part of Mene to be more... fun? No, more actively involved in the community itself.

Rules (?):
More like "How this Works". I post my own poem to start out and then YOU add on to my poetry. Therefore we can have the Neverending Poem It's that simple. Please be creative and leave your own post open and try to make sense (but don't hold back at the same time ;)) Also, if you have already posted once, you can come back and add on later!

For anyone who posts, a small little "donation" will be given =3 Thanks for being creatively inspired!

(oh, and if you want to say something separate from the poem you add, or if you just want to say something... post in parentheses like this!)

Start of Poem:

Rushing water.
Is it raining?
No the sky is clear,
The night is quiet.
But inside
Chaos burns like fire.

...Chaos burns like fire.

Reigned in.
I am a slave,
Not a Prince.
Reigned in.
Anger and pain
Scorches me.
Reigned in.

A spark ignites
Deep inside
The pain will cease
And love will thrive.
Born from chaos
Order forms
The pain is no more

But love won't last
And pain will grow
Let pass the past
While futures flow.
And in these times
Though wide awake,
We'll close our eyes
For dreaming's sake...

((Cat's addition reminds me of Greek mythology. :>
I hope I didn't make my part sound too much like an ending ;-; Sorry whoever posts next xD))

For dreams are vast
Portaying more than future and past
Let not these dreams show our pain
But show the love of which we gain...

((Ehhee :) The first part that I started with is actually one of my mannnny works and one that I entered in a Poetry contest. But I don't mind as long as you don't profit too much from it ;) And to everyone, you can continue adding on even if you've already posted once! ^^ I'll put that in the first post...))

But love is corrupted,
Only full of lost hope.
The sun dies-
The soul blackens.
Only hate will prevail
In the end, no hope...

No hope,
Which this world is hexed,
I can not live in
So i shall make towards the next

Here I am lost,
No home to find.
In reality
I am not accepted.
But imagination
Unites the soul.

With souls as one
Lets have some fun
In our worlds
Of pure imagination

The trees will dance,
But eventually red flowers
Turn to blood.
And in our eyes
Die.
What of the world then?

Perhaps it will vanish,
Perhaps it will die.
But if it shall go,
Then so shall I.
And in the end
We all shall be
United together,
In sweet tranquility.
You and I forever...

But forever is not as it seems
For even eternity has an end
When all happiness begins to blend
And life's glory no longer gleams

For all hope isn't lost
There is a gleam of hope
To strive, to live
To love we shall see
No one knows

So onward
To be free
I shall trot ahead
to see what lies ahead of me

Ahead there is
A road
lined with the bodies of those who've pasted
a sky
lined with a beauty that is unimaginable

Only beauty is wrath,
Bring torment to all.
And those favored with pain
Will overcome.
The sun will not die,
but shine on forever.

And in it's light
Our true brilliance will show
And the beauty of nature
Shall surely overflow

The test of nature
We shall see
In this crazy world
who knows?
Maybe we will see

see the forest for the trees
or see the dog for it's fleas
either way you say
tomato is still tomato.

Different is same,
But then whats sane?
A box is still brown,
The mysteries inside lost.
Age brings ignorance...

beauty through ignorance,
ignorance through faith.
a box is only as important as its contents
what good can come of believing blindly?
or sitting by idly?
or waiting for the rain to fall?
or phone to ring?
or the mail to come?
or a song to sing?

or to dance along?
to follow the beat.
but what happens
when you fall off the path
do you die?
do you disappear?
Or do you simply
start a new path
to follow?
to lead?
Who knows,
it seems

Someone else's box
Someone else's lock
to their soul
who shall know
who can tell
if we know what is up
and what is down
who is good
and who is evil
in this land we call
home
we shall never know
