Mene-related crafts, maybe?
 

This is kind of a question too...

I don't know if anyone remembers this particular thread.. It's from sometime in 2007 I believe, but someone had posted pictures of a few tangible Mene items... The only one I remember was the V-day Hairpin from 2007.

Since then, it's always been in some part of my mind that making random items (even better if they're usable) to wear would be cool. Then we could even have some Mene cosplayers?? Haha, or not. Either way, it could be fun to do for people who like crafts. :)

What do you guys think?

You guys just reminded me of the Mene-themed cross stitch that I planned out a couple months ago. I've the pattern somewhere on my computer, perhaps I'l have to actually make it soon. [lol]

@ kt - mastering the crafting of plushies will never happen for me >.>" they look like failed mad scientist projects when I try to close them... if I want a real baby Yan I'll have to buy one someday or if they're never sold on mene, I'll have to beg someone to make me one XD

Knerd- Cross stitch? Do it! :D I've never tried cross stitching, but from what my friend's made, it seems like it can get very complicated. :o

Poet- Haha, I'm not great at sewing in general, but might as well try it for fun if I can. xD

Ah, that's very cool! The only thing I know how to make are small plush keychains made of felt though. I haven't been on this site long, but maybe I'll try making a Yumeh keychain someday haha!

Um, I really just make the patterns from pictures. Self-taught, I guess? I've sort of learned how to make them from when my mother used to sew random felt crafts. It's really quite simple! But the smaller the keychain, the harder to sew in the details.

Ahh, that's understandable. They look awesome though. :3 I will have to find time to be crafty soon.

Well I can technically make anything I want during my own time, so I hope I can figure something out, granted I wouldn't have a machinist to make it or the money to do that lol
