It's cold and snowy outside, but we have a fun and fast-moving game to warm things up around here! *giggles* Join Magnus and me for a fun game of Holiday Hangman!

Well, since it's ladies first, and Magnus is a gentleman, I will be going first! I am Vicktoria, your resident queen of hearts n_n. I'm hosting with Magnus because he's cool and fun to hang out with, but he's also clever, so he can help me with the clues that I can't work out >.<

*smiles* Why thank you Miss. Vicktoria! Hello everybody, and welcome to our Hangman thread! This is just one of the many activities that Menewsha is running during this year's Winter event. As you can see, I will be hosting with Vicktoria. *smiles* Hopefully, you will enjoy playing hangman as much as we shall enjoy hosting it!

Holiday Hangman! The Game?

This Hangman game is just like any other lovely hangman game. From time to time, the hosts will make an announcement similar stating how long there is left until the next hangman round. Magnus and I will be alternating between who is hosting hangman rounds, but the hosts will always be Magnus or myself. When a hangman round occurs, you have to pick words, letters, and phrases to guess the word or phrase is.

Holiday Hangman! How to Play!

*smiles* Thank for joining us, we really do appreciate everybody who is participating and stopping by our thread!

The game itself is fairly simple, the goal is to guess the word or phrase first and correctly. This means that it must be properly punctuated as well. Below is an example phrase

_ _ / _ _ _ / _ _ _ _ / _ _ _ _ / _ _ _ _ _ _

This is just gibberish, not an actual phrase. But when Vicktoria or myself post a phrase, you will then ask if a certain letter is present. Please do not post just a letter when you are guessing a letter. This can result in a infraction!

If someone guesses a specific letter and the letter does happen to be within the phrase, I will replace the blank spaces accordingly. If that specific letter does not happen to be within the phrase, I will add the letter under the phrase. This will distinguish correct letter guesses and incorrect letter guesses. Each time that Vicktoria or myself posts during a round, we will post the phrase with all the incorrect and correct letter guesses.

You are allowed to guess word or phrases as much as you like, as you are not limited to only one guess, whether its correct or incorrect.

Just to let you guys know, there will be lag with the amount of users participating in a round. Because of this, it may take a bit of time to make sure everything is updated and accurate. So please sit tight while we try to update each round to the best of our ability.

Holiday Hangman! Rules!

There are no rules (other than follow all Menewsha rules, and make sure not to edit your posts!) - but please make sure to spread holiday spirit and love!

Holiday Hangman! Prizes!

For each correctly solved clue, you will receive 50 gold, and there is no limit on the amount of rounds that you can win.

Furthermore, on the days that Vicktoria and myself host Hangman, the person who has correctly solved the most phrases will receive a item of their choice from the Special Event Store, if there's a tie for the most solved clues, then everyone who has the day's highest score gets a free item *smiles*

And, at the very end of the event, the top three people who have correctly solved the most phrases will receive 3,000, 2,000, and 1,000 in either gold or commons. Enjoy!

Oh, yay! This sounds like fun! I can't wait for it to start. I've decided to try to participate in the event more this time than I did the last two times, so I'm kind of excited about this one. <3

I haven't played this for such a long time! xD;; I think the last time I played hangman was in sixth grade and that was about 10 years ago! :shock: :rofl:
