Scholomance (Remake) (O/A)

In Common Myth, Scholomance was a predominant Necromancy school in Romania, ran by the Devil himself. It wasn't until well into the Age of Emergence, when people of the Mythic world began to reveal itself, did the school come out of hiding. Scholomance DID practice Necromancy, but not only that. The school was built by Several Great founders, who sought to protect the Pursuit of knowledge. At first, they openly accepted anyone who wished to learn, but during the Dark Ages of time, when people were persecuted for being suspected 'witches and warlocks' they sealed themselves off from existence, using the Devil Myth to protect themselves. Now, They have sent invitations throughout the world, to anyone with any ability in magic. The Halls brim with knowledge and opportunity. The books reveal knowledge long lost to time. The teachers, powerful and patient, wait for the students to arrive. It seems that there will be a resurrection to this old, dark school. The Whole Campus is embedded in a mountain side. It Offers the following: Landmarks Mt. Jeriyall Lava Fortress, Red-rock Lake, Eternal Moon Meadow, Velethi Village, Scholomance Pass. School-grounds Supply Store, Weapon Repair Center, Library, Alchemy Lab, Bathroom for Each Dorm, Training Ground, Cafeteria Dorms Sky dorm, Holy Dorm, Nature Dorm, Fire Dorm, Demon Dorm, Water Dorm, Human Dorm, Moon Dorm However, all is not as it seems. Even with creatures of the mythic world openly showing themselves, there is still a lot of resistance and hatred for these beings. The Church believes them to be Creatures of the Devil, with the Vampires and Werewolves suffering the most brutality, verbally, racially, and in extreme cases, physically. To add to the carnage, in response to the growing attacks on their people, those of the mythic world form Militant groups, to defend themselves. It is the 10th year of the Age of Emergence, and these is still high tension, and bloodshed. However, this is only the beginning, of what is to come.... Here are the rules. 1. No god modding, or Power modding. I am god here. 2. Send me profiles. If a Student, Post 'Novice'. If a Teacher, put 'Master'. 3. I want Atleast 3 sentences per post. I understand writers block, I have it too, but that's not much to ask. 4. IF your going to be gone, tell me. I want to know how to move, without you being too far behind later. ( finx15: SuperZombiePotatoe: Lady Chello: Shikabane Hime: Roleplay starts now! Teachers shall be introduced when they arrive to Scholomance)
The Village of Velothi, a place mixing old-world charm, and new age technology. It's streets littered with market stalls, carrying rare ingredients for the discerning alchemist, or Arcane Blacksmith. It's taverns held modern age technology, but combined the magic of the owners with them, turning normal drinks into heavenly beverages, and normal food into 1$ delicacies. It was a place of Renown splendor. It was also the place selected as the meeting point for the students of Scholomance. Students would arrive by any means: Car, Plane, helicopter, boat, foot, or even mythical animals. Arriving by one of the more fancier human means, was Filius Imperii. Adorned with Glittering Jewelry, and gleaming gem-stones, he looked less of a mage, and more of the Aristocrat he was. His parents and siblings hugged him, and waved him off, as he stepped into the Village, taking a deep breath into the wondrous sight before him. No doubt, many looked at him, and expected to be pious. However, Filius in truth was a compassionate individual, unafraid of the school he was about to attend. He just couldn't wait to get started. |
Lorinda Day rode her white horse Selena named after the Goddess of the hunt her black cat Hecate named after for the death Goddess/ the dark side of the moon. She dismounted easily patting her horses neck feeding her a sugar cube then she slowly headed into the city she wear a dark blue dress contrasting her black hair and eyes drastically. Her hair was held up by a red comb shaped like a rose she carefully scanned the crowding wondering if she would recognize any of the students. Hecate slipped onto her shoulders and followed her gaze suddenly she darted away "Hecate." Lori cursed and hurried after the cat who was sniffing Filius "Please for give my cat sir." she glared at her.

"Such a beautiful animal," said Vivienne Adair, fixing her golden eyes were fixed on the brilliant horse but a few feet before her. She was practically lounging on her trunk and had been for some time now. She had arrived almost an hour ago, wanting to get a feel of the village and, just as many had said, it was a modern day marvel. Vivienne had never been out of the Glen before, but having read countless books on the outside world, she felt that she was more than prepared from what it held. In fact, she wasn't entirely sure she wanted to return to the Glen once her training was complete. But, those thoughts had been pushed the very back of Vivienne’s mind. All her musings were now fixed on the wonders that the School had to offer.
She uncrossed her legs and settled her elbows on her lap. The people in front of her were clearly students. They looked young enough and one of them (a young man) was gazing at the surroundings with the same wonder in his eyes that she had had when she first arrived. The young woman seemed to be chastising her cat, but Vivienne understood the woman’s anger. She would have been equally unnerved had her pet run off to sniff at the feet of strangers. And then the horse came into view. “Pale as moonlight,” Vivienne sighed,”Wherever did you get the animal? It has such an otherworldly charm.” Vivienne had an eye for beauty, although she mostly directed it at things with a little more glimmer and shine. But, as a Faerie, Nature was in her blood and she was always drawn to those things with natural beauty. |
Ryuu let out a growl as he shifted from his massive dragon form. He had landed some ways from Village of Velothi to ensure he wouldn't damage the village. His father had only agreed to let him fly if he promised not to harm a single soul. Of course his sisters tagged alone to make sure he kept his promise. He looked up in time to see his sisters fly off each one letting out a roar of encouragement. He let out a sigh as he stood miles away from the village in the grassy clearing. He hung his head hating his human form. If it wasn't for the promise of coming home, when he learned whatever he was suppose to. He would have just shifted back to his dragon form and left. However he knew it wasn't that simple for him anymore.
His mother had did her best, convincing his father to let him fly to the meeting place. He had royally screwed up this time with his father. His father was past furious with him, and demanded he left for the school at once. He didn't even have time to pack his things. His father threw a purse full of coins at him before he left, promising they would send his things later. He knew his mother would see to it all of his things made it to him. Most people would be excited about now, knowing they where going to the school. At this point all Ryuu wanted was to die. He let out another sigh as he finished rolling in his self pity. It was his fault he was here under these circumstances no one else. He shook off his displeasure as he began to walk to the village. All he had to do was just make it through without losing his temper and killing a human. The thought of humans made him sick at his stomach. He felt nauseated as he neared the village. He looked up as he realized there was a human around. A low growl escaped from him as he made his way to the village in good time. It was a good thing he kept his human form in good shape. The walk would have otherwise taken him most of the day. Maybe his father was right for making them train their human body just as hard as their dragon one. Not that he would ever give his father the satisfaction of knowing that truth. He slowly made his way towards the small group that seemed to be gathering. He smiled till he smelt that smell again. His eyes cut to the overly jeweled male. He rolled his eyes as he stopped where he was at and leaned against a wall. He simply crossed his arms over his chest as he watched the others. This would be close enough for him right now. |
Within the sunlight skies of the village of Velothi, there were two black specks. hovering about as if they had owned the skies, it would be long until they finally landed onto the ground, at the village gate. The figures were actually twins, the ones that looked like. Well, not in their "human" forms. Both had large black wings coming from their blacks and both had long black hair. However, as soon as it came to their clothes, their eyes and they way they acted, they were completely different. "We finally made it sis, hooray~!" The red eyes twin named Nighmara said with a smile on her face. She clapped happily as she turned her head towards her older sister, Evangelina. Evangelina smiled softly as she gently patted her head, "Yup we made it. I am actually surprised that we had made it on time. I thought for sure we would be late." Evangelina said with a regal voice. Nighmara looked up and about the village as the walked in, taking in the new found freedom.
As the two continued walking into the village, making their wings vanish a bit since they were using them. A dark shadow slowly emerged from behind Evangelina, the large shadow just loomed over the twins, looking about left and right it sunk its head low. "It smells here....I don't like it." The being said, red slits soon appeared, looking around left and right rather quickly. Evangelina and Nighmara gasped softly, turning their heads to face the being, it was none other than Bella. Nighmara turned her head away quickly, she feared the shadow being that clung to her sister, no matter what they did she always came back. Evangelina could sense the fear coming from Nighmara and she glanced towards Bella. "Enough Bela, you are scaring my sister. If you are going to be out, you have to promise to behave yourself. You have been reckless for the past few months." Bella shifted her eyes towards Evangelina, not really saying anything before sinking into the ground. She took over Evangelina's shadow, morphing it to mimic her own. Wavy hair as if the wind was blowing it, the shadow of a sing belt buckle hung from the left side and a white smile spreading across her shadowed face. Evangelina sighed softly as she looked over to her now calmer sister, Nighmara looked over and smiled, "Th-Thank you." She stated, bowing her head lightly. Before she could do anything, the twins stopped in their tracks, seeing a small group of students in front of them, they blinked lightly and looked around slowly. The first thing they noticed was a young man covered in jewelry, Bella slide her way over, observing them as she slide back, "At first I thought the sun fell from the sky, that is the brightest little fucker I have ever see." She stated, Evangelina and Nighmara both chuckled, the comments Bella made were harsh, however, just sometimes they can be funny. "Now now, Bella. No need to tease someone for how they look. Remember that you don't really have a body." Nighmara said. Bella then lifted off the ground and clung to Evangelina's back becoming a miniature version of her shadow form. "Nonetheless, he is still too bright, need fucking sunglasses around him." Bella stated. Evangelina continued looking about, noticing another young man not too far from the small group. He appeared to have been keeping his distance or something else. She tilted her head lightly and wondered why he wasn't with the others. Well he didn't blame him since the other male appeared to be almost like a glowing orb than an actual person. Is he really a student? Nighmara and Evangelina stood away from the group and just watched, Bella did the same. She observed from the shadowy perch of Evangelina's shoulder; the white smile spreading on her face more and more. |
(xD why is everyone picking on the aristocrat? )
"Hum?"Filius looked down at the cat, careful not to step on her. He then saw a woman run to retrieve it. "Oh, no trouble. I was just taking in the scenery here. "he said, pulling off the jewelery. He was given most of them to pay for anything in town. There was more than likely a pawn-broker somewhere, and he was just going to sell them for whatever price. He could easily have money wired from the family, so that wasn't a major issue. He did, however, keep two things: A silver amulet, with a Symbol of the Roman empire, a mark of his heritage, and a Ring, with a dual headed eagle, a mark of his house. Both ancient family heirlooms, both beyond value. "My name is Filius Imperii, A pleasure to meet you. "He said, to the woman with the cat. He then looked over to the man that was leaning against the wall. He walked towards the man, and bowed. "Filius Imperii. It is a pleasure to meet you."he said. He could tell, by the smell of brimstone, that he wasn't human. Dragon, or demon, probably, but not human. Outside the village, everyone would hear the sound of uproar, and anger. It was the Church of Faith, the radical body of Religious zealots that had moved to have the school vilified, and any inhabitants that could cast magic viewed as demons or devil worshipers. They were not many in number, but they were being a general nuisance again: Hurling insults and preaching biblical texts, as if it meant anything. |
((Because its fun XD))
Lori blinked at the girl who was staring at her horse in awe. "Who? Selena? I've had her since I was a child of five. She was born from my parent's horse both as white as she is but she is my own. She's as loyal and fierce as a guard dog.'' she grimaced when Selina tried to nip the other guy. "No girl don't bite you don't know where people have been." Selina snorted as her mistress patted her nose watching Hecate sniff the new comer. "A dragon then?" Lori asked his after Hecate had jumped onto her shoulder and whispered in her ear or seemed to anyways. |
Vivienne woke up from her seat and reached for the sky. She had been sitting for so long she'd practically turned to stone. "Selena?" he chuckled to herself," An appropriate name, I suppose. You're very lucky to have her." Vivienne had been alone fore so long that she had become used to her own company, but still she wondered what it was to have constant companionship. Though, she doubted that would ever be something she possessed. For the next few years she would be surrounded by people and she had a sneaky feeling that would get a bit tedious at some point. It was only a few years, and then she could head off to make her own way on her own terms. Perhaps a little shop in the Goblin Market... She was thinking too far ahead, once again.
She looked around at that the small crowd of students that had gathered. "Now, let me see..." She tapped a finger against her chin as she thought and then pointed to each of them," A dazzling human, you must excuse me for staring, young sir, I am quite the magpie. Another human with lovely companions, a... haha, a dragon! And those two look to be daemons." Her keen eyesight helped her to nice notice the girls standing away from the group. "This is going to be an interesting few years, isn't it? Now, could someone tell me when we depart for the school? Thos angels outside are making such a racket I'm forgetting when to blink!" |
Ryuu glared at Filius as he turned looking to the church that was making such a commotion. " Pleasure I'm sure." He said quickly his attention on the church. "Charcoal would be delightful. However I think they would look great in shreds decorated about the place don't you." He said as he gave a devilish smile to Filius. "I don't think these morsels have had a true monster after them yet. Fear always makes the meat taste better. " He said as he looked to the other ladies. He gave a respect full bow to them knowing for now he needed to play nice. "I'm Ryuu, and it's a pleasure to meet you all." He said as his eyes quickly sifted to the Church again. He let out a low growl as he watched the group. He slowly starting counting out loud as he tried to calm himself. His hands were clinched down at his side as he glared at the group intensely. His father was honestly testing him sending him here. Everything in him wanted to silence the group. He wanted to shift into his true form and give them something to be afraid of. His scales where starting to present themselves where the human skin should have been. His temper was starting to rise the counting was not helping. His mother had lied about the counting. If the group didn't leave soon, he was going to show his true self soon enough.
|
The young girls watched curiously as the small group ahead of them started talking with themselves as the were soon distracted the sudden sounds of shouts. Nighmara turned around, seeing it was the humans from the Church of Faith, she gasped softly as she hid behind Evangelina. Bella, on the other hand, looked back with a sinister grin on her face. Evangelina held Nighmara closely, Bella soon emerged from the young girl's shadow, grinning from ear to ear. "Well, I guess I will be having some fun after all~." She chuckled, her shadowy-like hair soon became thinner strands, moving about like slow tentacles. Bright red slits became more visible, showing cat-like pupils appearing in her eyes. Evangelina shook her head lightly, "Bella, please. Don't. We will get in trouble with the humans of this place." Nighmara looked over Evangelina's shoulder, her crimson colored eyes scanning the situation. She then turned her head over towards the group of people, one of them appeared to be reacting to what was happening. Nighmara pulled on Evangelina's hand as she moved away, "Come on Evangelina, let's just go. The faster we leave this village the better." She stated with a tremble. The unwanted memories of the past were coming. Things that were unfamiliar to her, caused a small headache to happen. Evangelina grunted softly, holding her head as the visions came to her as well, coming in only quick flashes. Bella only inched her way close to the crowd, but stopped, sensing the distress Evangelina and Nighmara were in. Within irritated growl, she returned to Evangelina's shadow, taking it over completely. Her claws protruding from her fingertips and the white smile spreading on her face. Evangelina and Nighmara figured it would be best to be a little closer to the group, they had to. In fear of risking more uproar, Nighmara quickly walked towards them as she stood close, but not too far. Evangelina did the say, she and Nighmara's vectors slowly seeped out, it was only as a precaution. They never really killed humans before, it wasn't something they could do. They believed it was from their parents, maybe it was how long their kind had lived on Earth. Seeing the humans as being who shouldn't be hunted or killed just for amusement. Evangelina looked over towards Nighmara smiling softly as she soothed her trembling sister, "It's ok, I'm here." She stated with a soft tone. Bella only watched, her eyes had disappeared, leaving only a smile, but she was happy to see no harm coming to the two sisters. She might have had to kill the humans and that would have been very unfortunately. |
Filius looked towards the Faerie, rubbing his head. "I am from a Roman family, all of my items date back to the time before the Eastern Empire fell. Actually, I might still have artifacts that date back to the Roman Kingdom."he said. He was proud of his heritage, bloody as it was, and wore the mark of his home with pride. He then reached into his satchel, and pulled out a Ring. "This was taken from the Ancient City of Carthage, before it was sacked. Take it. "he said, tossing it to the Faerie.
He then looked towards the Dragon, and grinned. "Charcoal would be a better. Keep their face of horror and pain locked in place. "He said, before turning a menacing stare towards the Church. "Bastards, all of them. They're a blight on this planet, and a disgrace to my people. What does it matter if we are of a different race, and can cast magic? I'm human, I worship the Santharian Pantheon, and I cast magic. Are any other race really that different?"he said, to no-one in particular. He was not so reserved, as to allow this to happen. He then turned towards Lori. "How can your cat tell what race they are? You have quite a gifted animal."He said, but before he could say more, he turned towards the church. Near Evangelina and Nighmara, the Church began throwing verbal insults at them, and one started even throwing objects. Rushing forward, Filius looked towards the church, and put his hands together. "To hell with this! "he said, and summoned a ball of fire into his hands, intent on killing every last one of them. |
Lori grabbed the aristocrat's ear and pulled sharply. "No killing." she growled. "Selina found the way." she began to pull him by his ear to the others. "Lets follow Selina and get away from the church people.'' she sighed a little and looked to the other. "everyone after that cat." she pointed to the black cat that was slipping threw the crowd.
|
Vivienne caught the ring in her right hand and turned it over in her fingers. Her eyes became as wide as saucers and glittered from wonder. "Remarkable," she said holding onto the piece of jewellery as if it would break with the slightest pressure. "This... this is pure gold and... purple sapphire. You'd think it was an amethyst at first, but this is far more precious. Far more. You have such heritage." She held the ring to her chest and could feel the energy that it gave of. It ran through her limbs with an electric pulse. Old energy and almost as pure as it good get. She looked at the man with disbelief and then smiled slightly. "I have nothing to give in return, but I offer my name at least. I am Vivienne Adair and I thank you for this truly."
She slipped the ring into her bag and then looked towards the commotion that seemed to only be getting worse. Vivienne put heard in her hands and sighed audibly. "And, just when I thought this would be a nice calm day." Something always had to go wrong with humans. They made it that way. Started wars over women and killed because of class. It honestly made no sense to Vivienne and she was thankful that she had nothing to do with them. If they didn't bother her, she would not bother with them. It didn't look that way with Fillius, though, and she was relieved when that girl with the lovely animals intervened. At least there wouldn't be any violence yet, but she foresaw it in the future. The group began to follow the girl, but Vivienne's thoughts turned to the two demons. She closed her eyes and immediately appeared behind them. "If you want a fight stay here by all means, but if you'd like to bypass all the violence I suggest you follow us." And with nothing more to say, she appeared back next to the pale horse, Selina, and began walking away. |
Ryuu was surprised by Filius action. A human ready to punish other humans. He pondered on what the man had said. Could a human truly have the same views as he did on his own race. He watched and frowned as the other females stepped in. He let out a growl as he leaped into the air. In a matter of moments he transformed into his true form. It was liberating after the confines of his human form. His massive wings sent him soaring through the sky. He stretched his neck out as he relished in the power he felt. There was nothing more freeing than being in his true form. He circled the group calling themselves the Church as he swept down low enough to almost touch them. He let out a loud thunderous Roar witch sent the group scattering screaming for their lives. He looked over his shoulders at the group still huddled together, and sent some flying with a switch of his tail. He laughed as he watched the remainder of the group scatter. Their rioting for the day was done.
He would have went further if he didn't have the females to answer to. He wasn't stupid he lived with a clan of them. There was nothing worse than females ganging up on you. He felt better though at least getting to make a stand against the rioters. His sisters would have beat him for going any further than he had. He kept himself high enough in the air to not send to many wind gust down to the village as he flew. He let out a low growl as he flew over the group forgetting about the horse and other animals. He honest had never met a horse that didn't hate a dragon it was built into them. He was a predator after all. He landed further from the village as he waited for the others, he honestly hoped the church would regroup. He already had a bad day as it was, but he was very sure he could make theirs worse. He shook his massive body as he stretched enjoying feeling the earth beneath his massive claws. He could smell everything now it was honestly glorious. He hadn't felt this good since the time his sisters banned him from his dragon form for a entire year, for something he had done to the local prince. It was not his fault the prince had a mouth on him. Most humans could get down from a snow covered mountain, on their own why couldn't the prince. |
As Evangelina and Nighmara moved closer towards the group of students, the insults and slander only continued more. Soon the crowd started throwing stuff, Evangelina shielded herself and her sister with her wings. She closed her eyes lightly as Nighmara shook her head lightly. Bella snarled as she shifted her attention towards the crowd, her body shifted as she sunk into the ground, moving over towards the humans. Evangelina and Nighmara gasped when they saw a person who appeared to be getting ready to attack the humans. Evangelina looked closely and noticed it was one of the males from the group was about to attack and it appeared that he was going to kill them. Nighmara looked over and shook her head lightly, she didn't like the idea of beings with magic should attack those who are weaker. Evangelina looked back towards the crowd, noticing Bella was over there. Evangelina's eyes widen slightly, shaking her head lightly, she was wondered more than ever, 'Bella, don't do it.' She thought to herself, watching the shadowy ghost slide over until she came to a halt. Nighmara watched a little then turned to face the human male, only to see one of the females stop him and drag him away. Nighmara sighed softly as she and Evangelina looked back for a moment to see Bella had yet to move. "What is she doing?" Nighmara asked blinking little as she looked over towards Evangelina. The elder twin looked at her younger sister, thinking for a moment then looked away. "I don't know, we will have to wait and see." She said with a soft voice. Nighmara and Evangelina turned around to watching the group following a young female with the animals. The twins watched then gasped softly, hearing a female voice around him, they turned around to see a second female behind them. They blinked lightly and looked towards the group as they followed behind. They were close enough to hear them talking but not close enough to be a big concern. With a faint gasp, both girls looked back as they heard a thunderous roar. They turned their heads and looked over towards the direction of the noise and see a large dragon near the humans. Evangelina looked ahead and noticed on of the boys were missing, 'Is that the boy who was against the wall?' She thought to herself, blinking slightly as she quickly shook her head. Nighmara watched as the dragon soon flew overhead and landed not too far from them. She blinked lightly, relaxing as she and her twin sister continued walking with the group. "Sister, this is going to be an interesting school year, right?" Nighmara asked, blinking as Evangelina looked over to Nighmara, "I believe so sister." She said with a smile on her face. Nighmara nodded lightly, smiling and nodded. She couldn't wait to get started. As the crowd tried to collect their thoughts, there was a black colored carriage creaking along slowly. Most people would watch the carriage being guided by a very large wild-like wolf. It was actually a carriage. It was actually very clean and the wheels itself were creaking, making from the weight that it was holding. The children of the village watched the carriage drove down the street, of course, they would feel sorry for the one who was in the carriage. However, there was something strange about this carriage, no one in the village really owned one of this color or size, so why was it there creaking by? What made things even weirder was the fact, there were large silver crosses on the back, left and right sides. The people of the village just watched the dark colored carriage roll down the street. Many moved away from the large thing, afraid that the animal pulling the large carriage would attack them, the wolf-like being hissed and growled as its head moved left and right, snarling while the tongue hung from its lips. The animal was tired, but no one can blame it. The luggage of the carriage looked heavy enough. It appeared to be walking for a while now, but for how long, no one knew. No one, except for the one in the carriage. Within the heavy looking carriage, there was a figure who sat on one of the benches. The figure was female, a well-put female to be exact. Her hair was a silverish white and was loosely braided on the sides of her head. Her bangs, however, covered majority of her face as the carriage continued around its merrily way. The clothes she was wearing was something that was very clean, a dull blue colored dress with white thigh length stockings and black heeled dress shoes. The torso of the young woman was bound by a very thick straight jacket. It appeared to be wet and drying in some places, the girl hissed softly. She could smell the humans around her as well as the holy water on the jacket. She snorted lightly, her bright red eyes looking over towards one of the tinted windows of the carriage. The young girl leaned closer to the window and looked outside, smiling softly at the young people as well as the adults that moved away from the carriage. Before the girl had the time to react, the mob from the Church of Faith started throwing things at the wolf as well as the carriage. A sinister grin soon took over the girl's face. "So...they figured it out." She said in a faint whisper. The wolf remained unfazed, it had its mission. Send the girl to the school and come back home. The mob continued throwing stuff, throwing insults towards the carriage and the creature pulling it. The wolf creature roared in angry before it heard the voice of its master speaking, "Don't attack...just...keep walking." She said, turning her head to look down towards the ground with a heavy and prolonged sigh. The wolf creature merely bowed its head and continued on its way along the path. The young girl grinned slowly, but this grin wasn't as sweet nor gentle like it was before. She turned her head slowly, grinning a bit more as she turned in her seat. She leaned closely towards the window where only her bright red eyes could be seen. One of the human protesters jumped back from the carriage and pointed towards the window. Before another protester could do anything, the window opened and a large claw shot out, grabbing the head of a human. The grinning girl started laughing, giggling as the clawed hand started squeezing the human head. The other humans tried to stop it, hitting it with the wooden planks and holy items it has. Nothing happened. The humans started to panic, the laughter only got louder as the arm threw the human into a wall, injuring the human as the arm disappeared into the carriage. The girl's eyes glowed brighter, a sinister grin appearing "Playing with me...will only get you KiLlEd." She chuckled before the carriage carried on. The girl sighed heavily as she slumped forward, hissing softly as she closed her eyes. She should have known what she did was stupid, her parents always taught her to never harm someone unless it is absolutely necessary. The young girl looked over towards the window she had attacked the human. It closed slowly as the carriage continued on. The young girl's name was Hollow, that was it. Hollow. Of course, she would have a last name, but she never told anyone since she didn't want to embarrass her mother and father with her antics. Hollow would be classified as a demon, however, it wasn't the case. She wasn't born in Hell and Hollow knows her parents were demons, however she was affected by holy items, to an extent. She knew it was due to her past, but she refuses to speak of it. Hollow slowly shifted her body, laying down on the bench as she closed her eyes. Using her powers while in her restraints was exhausting to her, but it was a worth it, all she wanted to do was just to scare them, not truly harm them. Hollow looked back through the back window, smiling once she saw the human was ok and not seriously hurt. Hollow laid back down and closed her eyes lightly with a happy look on her face. "I hope...I can learn to...control myself..and these powers...soon." |
Filius moved finx's hand away from him after two minutes. "Please. Don't do that."he said, trying to be civil. He then looked towards the whole group, and bowed. "To all of you who are not human, please, accept my apology. Not all of us are like that. "He said, looking back towards the group, as they were terrified by a large creature. "Good. Something should be done about them. I hate that no-one will shut them up. "he said.
They arrived at Scholomance pass (see the image above), which had a set of boats at the Entrance, capable of carrying many students. Filius got in one of his own, and waited to see if anyone else would get on, before removing the rope. The Boats would move automatically, down the pass. "There's strong magic here.....you can feel it. "he said. |
"No one said anything about water." Lori scowled a little Selena and Hecate didn't care for water. Selena was fine as long as it wasn't to deep but Hecate hated it. She spotted a boat for animals and grinning lead Selena onto it making sure to tie her up "You'll be fine." she patted the horses neck then letting Hecate hide in her hair before stepping carefully onto the boat nervous.

Vivienne stood for a while with her hands crossed, watching the performance. And it was quite a spectacular one. She had never known humans were capable of running so fast. That being said, she didn't know very much about humans. There were humans and humans, some were just less accepting than others. Those were the ones you had to navigate around, because they were usually the most observant. She felt it was just enough to get by without being noticed. Her wings were constantly hidden with glamour and if it wasn't for her golden eyes she would look practically human herself. She sighed and shrugged to herself. "Well, it's not like you expected this to be without commotion."
She turned away and realised that she was being left behind. Vivienne picked up her things and hurried along after the others until she reached their boat. She stepped in eagerly and settled herself with her legs crossed. Slowly she opened her mind to the surroundings and was almost startled. "Yes, there is. Much more magic than I expected. I assume we are going to have some very powerful teachers. Does anyone know about any of them? I don't." |
IVAN Ivan peered out across the water as his attention shifted to Leonora. "What a shame milady your still hiding your beautiful wings. Is it really that painful for you to be your true self? Even the dragon there takes comfort in his true form. I guess you'll be on clean up duty with the villagers for the Church's little protest?" He asked honestly curious about the Angel. He had been then for ten years now and she still hide herself. She posed as a human rarely showing her beautiful wings. The women acted as if it was a curse, that she was anything but human. He had never really understood her but from what he gathered most here didn't understand her. He had noted that the Headmaster seemed to be the only person she was close with. A strange bond was apparent between then. It was no secret the girl was his human ambassador. He wondered many things about the girl. She was a mystery to him something he found intriguing. He honestly wondered if she possessed any power he had never seen her once use it. She always used books or her mouth never performing any magic herself. He had seen her make potions but there was no magic in that. Whatever her secret she guarded it well. His attention shifted back to the students he saw or his gazing ball showed he held. This was going to be a interesting year. Leonora Leonora shifted her eyes as she saw the strange man appear beside her. He hadn't been there a second a go. Ivan was always so strange in his ways. He wasn't predictable like most people, he always had a knack of appearing when he was needed or when it was least expected. She peered down at his gazing ball as she shook her head. She had to agree this year was going to be different that was apparent. "If the headmaster bides me to I will intervene with the locals. I'm sure the headmaster will have a talk with all the students of the dangers of confronting the church. As for me I am not your concern. Now if you excuse me I must go." She said as she turned leaving him there, she headed to where she felt the headmaster. She softly knocked on the open door as she walked in. "The students will be here shortly. The church already started. Some of the students had a......run in with the group." She said trying to figure out how to word the incident without causing to much grief for the dragon student. "I don't know if some of our new students have had to deal with the Church sir. But I'm sure you have been watching sir." She said as she bowed her head and went quiet. She did so out of respect waiting to hear what the man had to say. Ryuu Ryuu shifted his head as he heard the others. He leaped into the air as he flew near the boats. Filius was right there was strong magic there. He closed his eyes as he shifted into his human form landing in Filius's boat. He said nothing as he stared at the strange looking school. So this was going to be his new home for a while. He looked to Filius rather impressed with the man. He hadn't met a human with that much gall to call out his own kind. This didn't mean he had changed his opinion of humans it just meant he wasn't in the mood to eat Filius. "There was two people just outside of the school staring this way. I take it teachers maybe." He said as he looked to Filius. He tried not to smirk as he thought about the guy. He wasn't the only person who had been given treasure to buy what he needed. This day was starting to turn for him. He was becoming amused with this Filius guy. Not that he would let anyone who knew him know. |
Lelani Lelani sat on the steps of the rolling ladders, taking the books that her mother would hand her and putting them on their designated shelves. They were waiting for the students to arrive and she had nothing to do so she figured she would help her mother organize her last shipment of books. It wasn't like she would really do anything when they arrived anyway since she was really the social type. She knew her mother wanted her to try anyway so she would. Even if she didn't make a single friend, she would attempt on her mother's behalf. She didn't realize her mother was calling her name until her hand rested on her shoulder. "Sorry mom. I'm just a little nervous," she said quietly. She always talked quietly, due partly to her shyness and partly to the fact that she had grown up around bigger kids and they scared her. Normal people might have gotten used to it but she hadn't. Sure, she was one of them now but she was still nervous and scared about making friends. She noticed that they were out of books to put away and she climbed down from the ladder. She smoothed out her skirt and walked over to the windows of the library to look out onto the water. She wondered when the boat would be there. Suilia Suilia gently handed Lelani the books for her to put on the shelf. She didn't have to put these on the shelf yet but she knew her daughter would be bored until the others arrived. Plus, she wanted to talk to her. She knew what it was like to start a new day of school, especially this school. She handed her the last book and noticed that she was starring off into space. She let out a sigh. She could tell that her daughter didn't want to try to make friends today but she just wanted her to try. She didn't want her to be alone, especially having to cope with her powers. She smiled and decided she would talk to her. "Lelani, can we talk?" she asked softly. When her daughter didn't respond, she put her hand on her shoulder. Lelani looked at her and gave her a soft smile. She watched as Lelani climbed from the stairs and walked over to the window. She let out a sigh. "Lelani, I know you are nervous about all of this but you need to try to make some friends. It would do you some good," she explained. She looked her daughter in the eyes and she nodded. "Ok, mom," her daughter responded. She really worried about Lelani sometimes but she tried not to show it. She hugged her softly then turned and went into her office to make sure she had everything prepared. |
Evanagelina and Nighmara followed the small group of people to the area where the boat were. the boat which would allow them to get to the school itself, Scholomance. Nighmara looked at the water as she smiled happily, it looked so beautiful. The way the sun reflected off the surface of the water was something that was could only be described in a story, Nighmara wanted to jump into the water, but she knew that it wasn't allowed. Evangelina looked over towards Nighmara, a smile spread on her face as she just laughed a bit. She knew her sister loved water and loved swimming more. She had to admit though, the water did look very warm and inviting. The older twin turned her head, her long black hair whipping lightly as she looked down towards the ground. She saw a small shadow like being slithering on the ground, she knew who it was. It was Bella. She was coming back but didn't know why. Bella soon fused with Evangelina's shadow. She remained there until she wanted to actually do something that was interesting, or until she had to scare someone else. Nighmara looked over towards Evangelina then looked down towards the shadow, watching it most into Bella's image. The wavy tentacle-like hair with the white smile spread across her face. Nighmara sighed faintly, she was wondering what kind of mischief she was going to cause while here.
As the two got on the boat, it started moving away from the dock. As it did so, Nighmara looked over towards one f the boats, she was soon taken by the site of a strange looking one. It appeared to have something on the sides and front of it. She tilted her head slightly and noticed something walking towards it, it was a rather large white and red wolf creature. It appeared to have been pulling a carriage. Nighmara watched and waited to see who would get on it, but instead of waiting for the person to get out, the wolf creature got on the boat. She gasped softly as her curiosity got the better of her. She wanted to know what was so special about the creature getting on the boat. "Nighmara, careful. I don't want you falling out." Evangelina said softly with concern in her voice. Nighmara looked over blinking slightly, she smiled softly as she sat down correctly and nodded. "Sorry, just got distracted is all." The younger twin stated then looked over towards the dragon-turned-human boy land on the ground as he then spoke up about the amount of magic being released. Evangelina looked around, she had to admit. It was a lot of power, had to think it was a teacher of two. That much magic was just amazing, and she wondered if she'll be able to become that powerful. Nighmara sensed the magic as well, she trembled lightly as she stretched a little. Bella, on the other hand, sensed the magic. She turned her head about, trying to get a little comfortable with the beings on the boat, but they smelled. She knew why, they were really human...well, all but one. Humans and Magic beings smelled different to her, she was able to tell if they were human, but figuring out what they were. Evangelina looked over towards the others then towards Bella, she knew Bella was going to be irritated once they got to land. She didn't make being around other beings, she had to keep herself calm. Bella was out and any one of the students would question why her shadow was different from her own self. Nighmara looked down towards Bella, watching the white smile remain on her face as Bella kept still. Hollow remained on the bench, she turned her head towards the farthest wall of the carriage. She blinked her bright red eyes lightly. She knew she was getting close to the area where the water was. The Scholomance pass. She looked up towards the window and looked outside of it. She could see the students boarding the boats and the boat she was getting on. The wolf being continued walking into he stopped at the boat. The boat was empty and was meant for her. The wolf being got onto the boat slowly, its claws digging into the ground as he pulled the carriage up over the small ramp then laid down on the ground. Hollow looked out as best she could before the boat started pulling off, the magic of the place was powerful. Hollow could sense it. She closed her eyes lightly, feeling the power of the place and the cool breath coming into the carriage once she opened the window. The young red-eyed girl looked around from the inside, she looked at the water. It looked so pretty, it was beautiful. Hollow sunk back into her seat, propping her feet up onto the other bench, "I-I shall try...my best...this year." She said softly to herself. Knowing, that the time as come to have som fun and maybe learn some new things. Within the one of the classroom of Scholomance, there was a teacher. He was finishing up a small bit of inventory before he decided to leave the room. He looked around for a moment and left the room once he was done. Four of his exposed tails swayed lightly as he looked around one of the halls of the school. A smile spread on his lips as he looked up towards the ceiling, there were children coming to the school at last. He stretched his hands over his head while his ears twitched lightly. The young looking kitsune looked around as he headed for the entrance. He had nothing else to do so he decided to go outside and get some fresh air and see if he had gotten a message from one of his sisters. Once he was outside, he looked up towards the sky, nothing but clouds. He sighed faintly, placing his hands behind his back. "They are late again." He smiled to himself, his ears wiggling about until he heard a small bird. He looked up and seem a small white bird fly down and land in his hand. The young man arched a brow as he noticed the rolled up paper on the bird's leg. It took it and read it. It was from his youngest sister. A smile spread on his face as he placed the letter in his pocket, he would read it later once he had the time to do so. He didn't want to be too distracted that he didn't play attention to the students. True, he loved his sisters and would do anything for them, but he wanted to make sure that he was reading ever word and replied back when his mind wasn't too cloudy with students and work. The young kitsune's name was Jared, Jared Gerio. He was the eldest sibling of five younger siblings, sisters to be exact. He had to take care f them at a young age when their parents died. He didn't mind it, he loved his family and he wanted to make sure they were safe from the troubles of the work. So far, two of the sisters have gotten jobs and are more than happy to help Jared take care of the other three sisters until they are old enough to do so. Jared would not wish to have his sisters burden with the work, but no matter what he said, they were going to do it regardless. Jared sighed softly, the small bird soon jumped up and flew to his shoulder. "I'm fine little one, just a little tired. I didn't sleep too well, but I'm fine." He said with a soft voice, the bird was a pet of his youngest sibling. The bird was to keep the sisters company as they attended school elsewhere. Jared looked over towards the horizon, looking at the water of the large area of Scholomance pass. He started to wonder what it would be like to work with the other students and the staff. True, he never really got acquainted with some of them, but what was going to stop him? He had to get around to talking to them since they were going to be working together. All he knew was there were a few different races, and some of their names...but that was really it. He sighed mentally, he wondered about how to approach then without seeming like a weirdo...too late for that. "Let's just see what happens, right little one?" He stated with a smile on his face and a bit of pep in his step, he walked down the path towards the shore, it wanted to get a close up on the boats and the children. |
"I know alittle. The Head-master, or Archaic as they call it, is Mavarth. He's an Ancient vampire, dating back to the burning age. He rarely makes a public appearance, preferring to have his Master-Wizard, an Archangel by the name of Leonora act in his place, but when he does, he's a staunch supporter of pro-supernatural rights. "he said. "Seriously. What's the difference? Many public vampires live by donated blood from Medical centers, this isn't the dark ages anymore." he said
" Dragons are the best damn hunters I've ever seen, demons are miners, and Angels have taken jobs as construction workers. They're integrating fine with society, what the hell is the issue of letting them be equal? 'Take over the world'? Why would they want our world, we got nothing. "Filius said, throwing his arms in the air. Filius believed that everything had a place in the world, even criminals taught the world something: What the mistakes were. Dragons made mistakes, Angels and demons too. Vampires and Werewolves could be criminals, yeah, but they were also in the military, fighting to protect people. "My race needs to start wisening up. Otherwise, something very bad is going to happen. "he said. Mavarath tapped on the desk, looking at the Reports on the recent action in the Velothi Village. Looking up from the file, he spoke to Leonora. "I understand what happened, my friend. The Church will use it as proof that the Supernatural world thinks that they can bully normal humans around, but there are eye-witness testimony's from non-mages that they were agitating a fight. Your mess shouldn't be too bad. "he said, tossing the file into his desk, and rubbing his temple. "Not even day one yet, and students are already having trouble.....I fear the Mage's council will take rash action because of the recent activity's. "He said. The Mage's Council was not only the governing body of the Magical community, but it had taken the role of the Provisional Government for the Supernatural world. It held mages from every race, and they spoke on behalf of their species. Mavarath was a member, and spoke for vampires. "The recent actions have caused the Councilors to fear for their species, and this has lead to guerrilla warfare, using proxies and mercenary's to fight against each-other. True, if we wanted to fight the church we could, and win, but we'd get the entire religious factions of the world against us. There's alittle over a million of us, and tens of millions of them. We don't need more ammunition against us."he said, rubbing his temples. "See to it that it's taken care of." |
Leonora Leonora nodded hearing Mavarath as she stared at him slightly worried for him. He was stressed again in the past few months things have only gotten more stressful for him. She knew he had a lot on his plate and mind who wouldn't in his position. She slowly stepped forward as she gazed into his eyes smiling at him. " You will do your best and succeed as always. I will handle the fall out from this. As you said we have the locals here. Many of them love you and the rest of us do as well. If they didn't they wouldn't call this place home. I wish you wouldn't stress so much about things you can't control. Don't make me recite the prayer to you about that. " She said as she smiled at him and laughed knowing he would give her a look again. She had recited it to him many times and every time he had threaten to ban her from the library and from her room in the human dorm. It was a inside joke between the two of them she used when he stressed to much over something. " This is a new year. We have new students and new hope. You told me there was always hope as funny as that is. " She said remembering when he had found her and taken her in. " You are highly influential with the council and act as a voice of reason for them. They will not do anything rash without consulting you first. You know many follow your lead there and here. We wont always be able to wing with diplomacy with how dark human hearts have become. You told me that when you found me. I prayed you where wrong but sadly many humans hold darkness in their heart. I think that for a first assignment the students should be made to put their magical talents to use for the locals here. As away of showing thanks for being so hospital towards us. " She said knowing that the villagers didn't have to be so kind. "They have always stood with you and suffered greatly for it at times. They are not part of the vile masquerading organization desecrating the Church by using it's good name as a means to fuel their dark intentions. " She showing her anger for the first time at the thought of the Church or the organization daring to use the good name of the Church. She smiled as she quickly hide her anger behind her smile knowing it wasn't becoming of her. " Maybe you could talk with the other teachers and figure out a project that the students could do to help the villagers. It would kill two birds with one stone as you put it. You would build a stronger relationship with the villagers, and you would be teaching the students to master their power. Besides the side benefit your teaching your students that not ever human is out to kill them. I know before you say it. I am crazy to still be talking about hope for humans. However for all the evil they do they have that much power for goodness. " She said as she grew quiet still smiling at him honestly wanting him to be happy. Ryuu Ryuu kept quiet as he heard Filius. He nodded more to himself as he took note of what the man said. He wondered how this year was going to go. He looked up as he hard the last part of Filius speech of shorts. " Bad things have already happen in most areas. Both sides have suffered." He said as he thought about his family and the humans his family had sworn to protect. Things where not always black and white as many believe. In life there was more gray areas than anything else. Filius was becoming more surprising by the moment. He looked around as he smiled seeing new faces starting to add to the group of students. He wondered if he would make friends here this year. Worst case he left and went back to his family or banished after what he done to the prince. The boy was noting but a spoiled brat who needed to learn a lesson. Apparently his father felt he was wrong for what he did to the prince. However he would do it again if the prince open his mouth again. The boy had no respect for anything other than power. He was so disrespectful it was hard to believe he belonged to his father. |
