"Enough to let us move out," Natasha answered with a faint quirk of her lips.

"But not enough that you're out of the woods yet," Tony added. "Pretty sure the two lawyers I hired for this are regretting it."

Tansy nodded at that.

"Once we're legally separated, then what?" she asked. "What will be the primary function we serve?"

Natasha glanced at her with a faint smile. "We would be doing the things Fury wouldn't let us."

"In other words, we'd be legally separate from any country or organization," Tony butted in. "So we'd be able to go wherever we were needed, rather than just where Fury thinks we are."

Tansy considered that for a moment, and then nodded. That was as good as anything she could have hoped for. Running herd on a super hero team: could definitely be worse.

"So, for now, we all just need to sit tight and not get into trouble," Natasha concluded with a faint smile and a vague look in Steve's direction. Steve just snorted quietly.

Tansy nodded.

"Okay," she said. She glanced at the others and then back at Nat and Tony. "Then I think what's best for me to do right now is that I get the Soldier settled. Then we can work out some general ground rules."
