Write a Faerie Tale-- One Sentence At a Time!
What better place to tell a faerie tale than a faerie ball? But it would be boring for one person to sit and tell stories all the time-- well, I'd like it, but it's more fun if everyone helps!
The rules are simple: I post the first sentence of a story. The next person posts the next sentence, and so forth. You don't have to keep the story going in the same direction they were taking it, but try to make it make sense and keep it going! Once upon a time, there was a young fairy named Willow. |
Willow lived in a serene and magical glen.

But she longed for the excitement and adventure that never came to the glen.
|
So one day Willow decided it was time to see what was beyond the glen.
|
She packed up a bag of essentials and struck out for an adventure.
|
As she walked farther and farther through the glen, she eventually found a pathway made of stones!
|
The pathway was twisting and turning but she followed it until she slipped on one of the stones and fell face down in a muddy puddle.
|
As she was trying to get up, she heard laughter nearby!
|
Lifting her head and looking around, mud dripping from her face she grew red with embarrassment.
|
There stood Puck, a faerie of mischief, laughing at her.
|
Willow, with her face aflame with either anger or embarrassment, shot Puck an accusing glare.
|
This only made Puck laugh that much harder at the poor girl.
|
Willow got up and cleaned herself off a bit trying to think of something snappie to say all she could do was wink at Puck *wink* |
Puck winked back with a laugh, "You're a strange one," he said.

Willow felt less awkward and giggled nervously. Oh, and i am graceful, too! Willow curtses |
Puck grinned at Willow then stepped towards her.

The grin was slightly crooked and filled with mischief.
|
Willow takes a step back and finds herself slipping in the puddle again.
|
She caught herself this time, managing to make the recovery look almost cool.
|
Puck who was still approaching Willow suddenly slipped and grabbed onto her arm as he fell.
|
Willow laughed so hard tears streamed down her face. she sat up and tossed a handful of mud at Puck. |
Except that it wasn't mud, but something much more icky.

It was faerie dust!
|
Who knew fairy dust could be so slimy?
|
Puck was surprised when he realised it was faerie dust.
