I haven't had a chance to look at the items yet. It's evening here so we're watching a film. :)

I thought that the story of that movie sounded interesting but I really wasn't a big fan of the art style.

Haha, I wasn't really planning on making a specific avatar for the event but I suppose we could pretend that she's taking advantage of the shipwreck to work on her tan. ^^;

Haha! I see in your sig you're playing Animal Crossing. My fiance has been playing that as well. He keeps talking about his turnip price woes. >.<

I'm not much of a gambler so I've never been in the turnip market. [sweat] I make my bells bug catching.

Hey. I never understood the turnips, maybe because I never remembered to water them. And the other kind, I'm like you, not much of a gambler so I didn't bother. I had Wild World, but I am now envious of anyone playing the new 3DS game..

I've only ever played Wild World before New Leaf. I have the Gamecube game but I can't play it because it's an NTSC version and I live in a PAL region, derp.

I haven't played it so I wouldn't really know. I'm more into Harvest Moon recently.

I had the Harvest Moon game for Gameboy Colour but I never completed the three year cycle. I couldn't ever seem to raise any livestock.

I didn't really like the old games much but I've gotten into the more recent ones. The one I'm playing now is Tale of Two Towns. The only thing I really don't like about it is that it's a portable game but doesn't let you save much which kind of defeats the purpose of portable games.

Ah, it is a pain when games have checkpoints or save at a particular point in a cycle rather than let you save whenever.

Yeah, exactly. I like to be able to control my saves.

I had Wild World and Let's Go To The City (aka. City Folk) for the wii. On that one I destroyed the grass by accident as I started in the winter and ran around building snowmen and selling fruit to start out. Then I spent the rest of the time trying to restore the grass which looked terrible. I eventually got so frustrated and bored with my town (and the neighbours who moved out despite my pleading) that I just deleted my town. I miss playing it though. I have to say I preferred playing it on a DS since it's so portable I could play it at night in bed, and I found it to be a lot more relaxing than on the Wii in the day time.

Do you have the new AC patterned 'special' 3DS for Animal Crossing? I think it looks so cute. I want to get it but it may be a bit pricey just to play one game?!

What is Harvest Moon like? I have been interested in it but never gotten round to looking into it. I'd like to play that too.
