From time to time we come across something that is quite different from your standard contribution, event, or even commemorative item in Menewsha. Not solely linked to a particular NPC or event, of unknown origin, and limited in number, these strange objects have been dubbed "Mystery Items."

During the 2017 Masquerade Ball, BellyButton and Captain Howdy created a thread adopting out these Baby Xans to any Menewshan who could prove themselves to be a capable parent for the little guy. About 25 were adopted out, but due in part to their new parents' sentimentality, very few have been sold.

This mysterious head was first seen for sale in the Marketplace by Jellysundae. The head seems to be in the likeness of Jelly herself! The origins of this peculiar little thing are unknown, and it is rumored that there are only two in existence.

A haul of a rare Dainean vintage, disguised in moonshine bottles, was brought ashore during the Grand Shipwreck Ball of 2010, after it was discovered being smuggled by the Captain of the stricken ship. The Empress of Dainea was so happy that the smuggler had been apprehended that she gave Mr. Mayor permission to share the bounty with Menewshans who had gathered to enjoy the festivities at Discovery Bay. Rumors abound about the possibility of further stashes hidden around the island, but until those prove to be true finding someone who is willing to part with one may prove quite difficult indeed!
