Introduction:
At the End of the Rainbow is a charity I run, but it's been tradition for me to host event threads under the same name (if I am around for the event, that is :P) where my regular visitors, as well as all others that wish to, come to to hang out, chat, earn some event currency, maybe play a game or enter a contest.

Everyone is welcome, as long as they abide by Menewsha's rules. =) We've got cookies, contests and prizes, silliness and chatting. With a cherry on top for good measure.

Games and Pageprizes

So, you want to play a few games, do you? Then it may be important to know the different kind of games that are played here. =)

1. What Is She Thinking Of?/Guess That Item
Pretty simple. I take an item in mind, you post questions regarding the item that can be answered with either "yes" or "no". When you think you know which item I am thinking of, you send me a PM with your guess. ONLY guesses that have been PMed will count.
First person to guess the correct item either wins that item, or a prize in gold.

I will state beforehand if the prize will come in the shape of gold, or of an item. I will, prior to starting the game, PM my mule with the name of the item, so that it can be proved I did not change the item I had in mind half-way through.

Rules:
1. Only questions that can be answered with "yes" or "no" will be answered.
2. Guesses MUST be PMed.
3. The same person (NOT account) cannot win two of these games in a row.

2. Guess that number!
I will take a number in mind and state a (fairly broad) range of numbers that it's between, as well as the prize that can be won. So long as the game is going on, everyone who wants to can take ONE (1) guess at which number it is. Guesses should be posted in the thread. If the correct number is guessed, a pre-determined prize is won. If the correct number is not guessed within the time-limit I set, no one wins.
I will, prior to starting the game, PM my mule the number I have in mind.

Rules:
1. Guesses should be POSTED.
2. The same person cannot win two of these games in a row. (However, winning this one after being the last to win Guess that Item, or a different game, is fine)

3. Various Impromptu Games
Examples: Trivia.
Specific rules for these games, as well as prizes, will be stated prior to starting them.

Contests

Catch the Snowflakes!
Somewhere inbetween a game and a contest, I chose to place it here because it will run for the entire length of the event. Once in a while, I will post something with a snowflake - can be a picture, can be a post with SNOWFLAKE in it somewhere, can be a little drawing of a snowflake.

The first person to quote that post gains a Snowflake Point. At the end of the event, the person with most Snowflake Points gets a prize: Event commons of their choice with a maximal worth of 2500g together from the shop.
The runner up gets 500g.

If I catch anyone editing their posts to become winner, they will be disqualified (I don't consider posts merging to be editing in this case, because that's an automatical process and it means no one else was faster anyway, else it wouldn't have merged in the first place)

(Oh, and no, quoting this post does NOT get you snowflake points)

Raffle

Want a chance at winning some gold or items? Well, here's a raffle!

Rules and a basic run-down:
-Tickets are 100g each. A maximum of two tickets can be bought per person. To buy a ticket, send me a donation with 100g at Silenia. Please DO mention in the message that you're buying in for the raffle.
-Tickets can be bought up until January 1st, when I will close the ticket-sale. Until I announce that no more tickets can be bought, they're still for sale. Drawing will be 1-2 hours after closing the ticket sale.
-Tickets can only be bought for others when they do not have two tickets yet.
-You can only buy in with one account - either main or mule. Charity mules are allowed to buy in separately; you can buy in with your personal main (or mule) AND with your charity mule if you wish so.
-Numbers are by order of buy-in.
-I will draw one number per five tickets sold, with a minimum of two numbers being drawn. If less than ten tickets have been sold, the raffle will be cancelled and the entry fees returned. The amount of numbers drawn in relation to the amount of tickets sold is rounded down - 14 tickets sold means 2 draws; 19 tickets sold means 3 draws, etc.

Prizes:

The following prizes are in regardless of how many tickets are sold, so long as the minimal number is met.

- 5k
- One full set of this event's EIs. Currently, the raffle includes items one, two, three and four and will potentially include item five, as is my honest intent. When you enter, please be aware that item five has not yet been released, so for its inclusion in the prizes, it depends on their addition to the Event Shop (which I don't doubt will happen) and me buying them (which I honestly intend to do). Entering this raffle signifies that you understand this.

Per extra five tickets sold, the following prizes will be added:
15+ tickets:
- another prize of 5k
Got enough tickets sold for this prize to be added.

20+ tickets:
- a prize of 2.5k
Got enough tickets sold for this prize to be added.

25+ tickets:
- EIs 1 and 2 from this event
Got enough tickets sold for this prize to be added.

30+ tickets:
- An extra prize of 1k per five tickets sold.
Enough tickets for two extra prizes of these have been sold.

For the first two prizes - a full EI set vs. 5k - the owner of the ticket matching with first number drawn is allowed to pick. The remaining prize will go to the second number drawn. From those prizes onwards, each number drawn will get the next prize in the list.
