Whack that Piñata!
Game Dates: July 12th, 13th, & 14th. I will aim for two rounds per day; one in the morning and one in the evening. This way, those not in a U.S. time zone will have a chance to play. Rules: This game works like Battleship, except it's all of you against me. Oh, and I can't fire missles at you :lol: I'll post a pinata board with a grid. During each round, players will take turns whacking the piñata by choosing squares on the board. Each square will randomly be assigned to one of the following: *Nothing *Knock you out of the round *Small Prize *Big Prize When the Big Prize is discovered, the piñata is broken and the round ends. There will only be one Big Prize and one Knock-out on each board. If you are knocked out of a round, you may still play during another round. However, if you win the Big Prize, you cannot play future rounds. Mad Gab - Menewsha Style
For this event, I will be running a similar version of the game Mad Gab. If you don’t know what Mad Gab is click here. This is how the game will work: 1) I will post a Mad Gab Example: Flip Earthy Doll Fin (Flipper the Dolphin) 2) The first person to quote that post, with the correct answer will be awarded five points. 3) There will be several rounds to this game to be held July 10th, 11th, & (possibly) 15th ; each round will go through out the day, an hour or so each time I'm able to be on. 4) Hints will be given if the Mad Gab is too hard; however there will be a point reduction. a. Level 1 Hint: Will say whether the answer is a person, place, event, thing or phrase. One (1) point reduction b. Level 2 Hint: Will be a more specific hint such as – actor/actress, country etc. Two (2) point reduction c. Level 3 Hint: Will solve part of the phrase. Three (3) point reduction 5) The person with the most points wins! 6) You may no edit your posts during this game, please. Free hint for everyone: It REALLY helps to say these out loud! Round Prizes: The person with the most point at the end of a round will be given an Easter egg. So, somehow I managed to subconsciously turn the Pin the Tail on the Donkey game into whacking a piñata.
Seeing as the only thing not piñata-related was the title, I caved in to myself and changed that instead xD I MEAN... I haven't finished stuffing the piñatas with candy! :ninja: |
