Hello!! :D so now we have a much easier place to talk then in a pm about our rp. So now what?

I'm working on a profile now. I'll probably make an intro sort of post for the rp tomorrow or tonight and link that so we can all get our profiles posted.

Alright! Just a heads up, I work all this week, so i might not be available during the "daytime... What time is it where each of you are?

I'm in Ontario, and it's about 7:17 PM at the time of me typing this.

I'm only an hour behind you, but it hardly matters. My work schedule is not normal and nor is my internet time.

Ah right now it is about 6:45 pm here.

I have no job or much going right now so I have lots of time on my hands at the moment. Lol.

I mean nothing for me to be proud of or brag about....I have a sad sad life :(

At least these next two weeks, it looks like I'm going in later instead of all these 5 or 5:30am shifts.

Me I mainly been cleaning like crazy, trying to get ready for Christmas is all.

yep. Waking up at six is super sleeping in! God I hate mornings though.

I haven't shopped or anything christmas yet.

Lol. Sleeping in is the best but I miss waking up early and going to work. :( I want to do that again

Im 23 with a fullyime job, and still live at home.
Ive got most of my xmas shopping done... Seems Im ahead of boyh of you :P

i am 26 and still live at home myself. My mom works over the road and my dad works night shift so i am in charge of the money, bills, cooking and cleaning.
well i only have to shop for two little girls. lol so they are pretty easy to shop for.

I'm focusing on moving out with a friend after the holidays. Also buying a car. I technically don't work full time, but I still usually work 5 days a week, 8h shifts.

well i wish you the best of luck!! getting a car and moving out is all very exciting!
i would consider that full time. lol

okay onto the topic of the rp. How modern do we want it? cause i like the idea of having indoor plumbing at least lol

It's always just under 40 hours though.

hm. I hadn't been thinking modern at all, but we could do something that has some modern amenities in a high fantasy medieval sort of setting.

I was wondering what age ya'll were thinking for your characters.

That sounds like a plan to me. i like the whole fantasy, medieval setting but having at least running water would be good to make things easier and help with the foul odors that were common with that age.

ah i was going to set my guy at least at 21

I mean, 40hrs is overtime. There isn't a full time position besides manager, but I have all the stock, health insurance, 401k type benefits.

But isn't that part of the experience? XD And anyway, it's not like we have to smell it. Doncha think there has to be giant dragon turds laying around anyway?

They don't just leave the dragon dung laying about, silly... They use it for fertilizer on their crops.

Would you mind if I made my guy a bit younger, like 18-19? I was thinking having it be his first mating flight, when they meet the rogue... I can have him the same age if you'd prefer. Doesn't make a huge difference-I'm just starting to work out basics of my profile.

lo. that is even more funny! i can imagine them trying to load it into a cart to take to the fields. Only able to take 1/8 of it in the cart at a time and then having a cloth tied around their nose and mouth as they tried to make it small enough to use around their plants. lol.

ah that is fine with me. I was thinking the age range would be about 18-30 so that way it isn't to much of a limit but then it isn't to wierd with them being extremely young or old.

Hm...if dragons were herbivores, they would make great fertilizer. That would be interesting. Leaf eating dragons?

You can write whatever age you want. I'm just trying to decide how much older or younger I'm feeling for my guy compared to ya'lls characters.

I was thinking omnivorous... But it could still produce decent fertilizer.
Also, if it broke itself down into a powder or something, then was mixed with water, it could be easily sprayed or- as a thicker mixture- spread over the fields by hand... Idk.

well then hunter is going for late teens and i am going for early twenties. lol

i still think it is funny with them dragging giant turds around. I think dragons have a variety of diets that they could have. Like the bigger ones having a diet more like a t-rex or something. You can have your meat eatters, plant eatters, both, insect eatters, gem eatters, seed eatters, metal eatters.....etc. They are dragons they have unlimited possibilites!! that is what i love about them cause you can make them all how you prefer them to be.

I think a good mix of diets would be good and larger predators are often more likely toward larger variety in their diet just to help them get all their calories. It could even affect a dragon's abilities to some degree like maybe only ones with a specific diet can breathe fire, but the others may have other fun skills. Fire breathing kind is probably the most plentiful since that's our common myth.
