So, I have been itching to get back into pixel art for quite some time now. I just do not like my current skills in the field such as my shading technique I am most familiar with. Which is why I am making a thread here. I would like to learn how menewsha pixels in order to make items for menewsha. I have always wanted to be an artist on some sort of avatar site. That is actually why I even started pixel art 5 or 6 years ago. Not to mention, I always have so many great ideas that I just never know where to start. Like I said before, I do not like my current skills I have so in a way, I would like to start over or start fresh. But I am unaware with where to begin. So tips would be greatly appreciated. I don't really know menewsha's light source nor the palette. As well as I am still only able to make things of a color palette of 3 colors u.u For those curious about my old art style this is what it looks like. Xxx If anyone has the time to help me out, I would love it. I am not totally lost with pixel art, I am also a digital artist but more digital drawing. |

Don't do what I did and start with a pigeon. XD go with something easier that you can find references for, to see how that was shaded/shaped/etc.

I would except...i don't have a favorite thing to pixel. I haven't done pixel art in like..a year or two so I have a bunch of ideas but no idea where to start first.[XD] |

Ah well. I'll just make random stuff then. XD I could use some platform boots and such. And hair extensions, piercings but their hair shading on here looks really difficult ;3; |

You can certainly ask for requests! 8D There are tons of users on here who would love to see some different items! I kind of just make items I wished we had for some of my dream avatars so they'd be complete. XDDD But mene doesnt have... Aw, that's a shame! ;v; Too busy or just lost of interest? I've also pondered of leaving too but that would be like the 2423552th time I've left lol |
