The "pale to burnt" Support Group: Gold Giveaway!

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...esummersig.jpg

...I don't tan. I turn a magnificent and delightful shade of red. After all the
skin flakes off my pain riddled, puny body, I might have a tan for a few hours. :3
And you, good sir/lady?

Here's a lovely little oasis for the rest of us who don't want to jump into
the pool because we're allergic to the pain of sunburns.

...'sides, I bet someone's
peed in there by now. >: (

For all intents and purposes, this is open to the public.

I am one of those delightful creatures that burns after ten minutes in the sun and usually suffers a second degree full body burn encompassing face neck, shoulders, arms, chest and back. I tan ever so slightly on my left arm, if only because it hangs out my car window when I drive.

Omi 06-22-2008 11:46 PM

Mismatching body parts? Just your left arm? :o

Cloth Roses 06-22-2008 11:51 PM

Yup, I rarely sit in the passenger seat, and since my left arm is in the sun more, it gets a gradual small tan. I'm messed up.

Waffle 06-22-2008 11:53 PM

I can't stop tanning. o.O;; I have tennis, and the tan lines get so obvious. It looks fugly.

Omi 06-23-2008 12:00 AM

But weird and misplaced tan lines are fun and a lot more interesting than those "perfect" tans that people spend lots of time/money trying to get. :D

Waffle 06-23-2008 12:03 AM

Not when I'm going to my prom when I'm in my dress and my head is tanned and my chest is white.

XD That's kinda funny in the "hideously awkward" way. Maybe some dark makeup or self tan lotion to help?

Waffle 06-23-2008 12:06 AM

Lulz. Or I go to graduation in a turtleneck.

Omi 06-23-2008 12:13 AM

A sexxxxy turtleneck. 8D You could totally bring back Victorian fashion. Just remember not to have your ankles showing-- that'd be indecent.

Waffle 06-23-2008 12:18 AM

Oh, I'll be sure to keep that in mind when I'm trying to shop for Victorian wear at the mall. Know any good places?

Omi 06-23-2008 12:20 AM

>_> For Victorian clothing, not really. A thrift shop, maybe. XD

What would you *prefer* to wear? :D Put any thought into it yet?

Blondheart 06-23-2008 12:27 AM

I haven't been tan since 1982. I have very pale skin an it burns.

Omi 06-23-2008 12:48 AM

-high fives Blond- :D Hopefully that means you haven't burned, either, in that long.

Blondheart 06-23-2008 12:49 AM

^5

Oh no I have a wide array of hats, parasols, sun screen in spray, lotion, stick...have they invented anything new?

CK 06-23-2008 01:27 AM

XD I'm so the opposite of pale. The entire rest of my family is at least six shades darker than I am. When you put me next to the older of my two brothers, it's practically shocking. XD

::joins group of pale-faces::

Cloth Roses 06-23-2008 01:36 AM

I nearly cried for joy the last time I went sunscreen shopping, because I found SPF 80. One time though, I was so pale I glowed under blacklight, I kid you not.

CK 06-23-2008 01:44 AM

LOL. Dude! That's pale! Paler than me, even. XD You win. XD

Omi 06-23-2008 01:47 AM

That actually sounds awesome :D

I tried that once but I was wearing makeup at the time and the makeup glowed purple (keep in mind this was regular, skin toned makeup). It was actually kinda amusing and perfect since it was Halloween and I didn't have to do much to scare the neighbor's children. >:3

Nalin Sun 06-23-2008 01:52 AM

I simply have to join this group. *smiles, shaking his head slightly* I'm not quite as pale as some people, but I do burn very easily...

Alexander Linden 06-23-2008 01:59 AM

Oh.. I burn very easily.. I try to stay out of the sun as much as possible. *sweet drop*

Nalin Sun 06-23-2008 02:00 AM

*smiles at Linden* That's best. Cover such as hats assist when you can't help it... And I don't know how many bottles of sunscreen I go through in a year. *chuckles*
