Site Issues - EDIT: Added note about CIs.
 

Hey guy, just a little update to let you in on Menewsha's status. We apologize for the lateness of this. Unfortunately, it isn't the best of updates.

As you may know, after the server move, we were hit with some problems in the previous months. While we were able to iron some of them out, February saw an unexpected batch of new troubles crop up. This included:

- Multi-equip not working.
- Post options not working.
- Previews not working.
- Youtube vids not appearing.
- The DAC pretty much unusable.

We are aware of the problems, and all I can say is that our technical staff is trying to figure the issues out. And we honestly all want this fixed as quickly as you.

Well it may not be a permanent solution, we discovered that disabling your browser's security block for Menewsha does temporarily fix most of the problems, except for the DAC.

I use Firefox, so for myself, it's the little lock to the left of the URL.

We realize some of you may not be comfortable doing this, but it is an option.

Again, we apologize for keeping you in the dark, and will try to update once we get some news.

An added note: We also realize that there have been no news about CIs. Some of the site problems have crept into the back end too, but we can work around that and the CI hopefully shouldn't be too long. :)

Thanks for the update! I was able to equip multi-equip items if I switched over to regular internet explorer.. Now I can't even do that. .__. So, I will try disabling the security for Mene. I hope it works.

Edit: I just noticed where Google Chrome says this site is not secure. There's the problem on my end. But after a bit a tweaking and selecting to allow certain things I am able to equip all items again.

Edit 2: Okay, so that wasn't what fixed it for me completely. I had to allow this site to load scripts. >_< That on top of the few other tweaks.... I think I figured it out. XD

While I do appreciate the update, CI's mean little to me if I can't equip them.
I'd like to see the site's errors repaired before new items are introduced...but that's just my opinion.

Profiles are broken now. There aren't separate tabs for about me/ posts/ blog/ etc. anymore.

Since the CI shop is currently completely empty...maybe we should consider rereleasing the previous 2 cis for just a bit longer?

Any recent news?

I hate to think we've been abandoned, but it kinda feels that way. *sad face*

i'm sure they're still here, doing all the work they can behind the scenes. they're just all very busy with life as well as the site, and besides, most of the staff don't really have control over the server issues, so there's not really much more for them to say besides be patient and they're sorry.

Time passes more quickly for some than others...
It would be nice if somebody would give us some words of encouragement that things really are being worked on!
