I like the new proposed layout except that the contests thread is axed. I understand that thread is currently inactive, but that may not always be the case. Removal of this thread eliminates the possibility of this thread becoming active once more.

Not sure I'm a fan of the "Hobbies & Entertainment" one. It seems like most of that would fit in the GD. I mean a discussion about knitting would be general discussion, but it could also be a hobby. A new TV show might be entertainment but there aren't really enough threads to dedicate a forum to it.

Will the rules reflect what belongs in each one and will the staff be moving threads that are in the wrong place?

Edit - I went back to count and saw less than 10 active threads. 10 threads doesn't deserve a forum. We need to get more active before that should be there.

Double Edit - So... could we get a subforum for results? They're kind of cluttery after an event, and they feel weird having them in Meneverse.

Triple Edit - When is this expected to take place?

I agree with Mr Wrong's suggestion. Bring back the old CI's or make recolours. Also, host more contests and release more items during non-event times.
This is why a lot of people don't stay around, because mene is extremely slow moving. Staff contests sound good.

SootyMagic: I suggest you go to the Marketplace and go to the "search for item" option and type in Mene and see if what you are looking for comes up...if there are none for sale, you could quest for the item.
