Maria's Frosty Hangout

Is it cold where you live? Down in here in Florida it got cold for a few days and now it's just kind of lukewarm again. LOL I can dream of my hangout being frosty and chilly, right?

Post away friends!

We've had a lot of fog...and rain...lots of rain lately LOL

Weird thta Ontario is warm though - I'd expect you all to be freezing at the moment!

right?! its super weird. but not unwelcome. its been happening a lot more recently. that december just isnt as cold as you think it should be. and a lot more wet. almost like the climate is changing .... lol

LOL WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT?

UGHHHH...people don't listen to reason about Climate Change and it's resulted in what we have now and what is coming.

When I first moved to Florida, it would still get chilly in December...like 50s/60s. Now it's 80 degrees F as the high today.

January typically gets colder than December so we will see what happens next month.

LOL - That's why my parents moved to Florida....they were so over the cold...so they progressively moved South little by little :P

Lol don't we all?? I'd like to be able to finally pay off my student loans lol

bloodstainedwings 12-26-2019 03:14 PM

yeah. we actually bought a house recently, and so now i have a mortgage to pay off. lol. and i still am trying to be able to switch my living from "working for others" to "being an artist" and it seems just as impossible as ever. but always worth trying.

Oh I know the feeling! Our mortgage hangs over our heads and I'm like...I want to pay it offfff (but totally can't LOL)

I'm not an 'artist' in a sense you are - but I totally get it...both Hubby and I are musicians who moonlight as music teachers :P

*curls up in the corner with a blanket, a box of tissues, and some hot tea*
Ugh. I'm pretty sure someone gifted me a cold for Christmas and I'm not happy about it.
Hope everyone else had a nice holiday!

Oh no! That's the wrong kind of cold to get for Christmas!! I hope you feel better soon!

Kaderin Triste 12-27-2019 03:24 PM

I'm at the beginning so it could either clear up fast and be gonenin a few days or it can stick around and get worse. XP
I'm hoping for the former. And I really need to get more sleep than I did last night...

Acobjum 12-29-2019 05:07 AM

It has been very warm over here. Walking home from work around 8 PM, the temperature felt in the upper 60's/lower 70's F.

Kaderin Triste 12-29-2019 07:51 PM

That is pretty warm! I'd say it's been pretty average weather here for winter.

Velvet 12-29-2019 08:17 PM

It's been close to 60 here lately. That's very unusual. It's usually closer to 30 or below

bloodstainedwings 12-31-2019 01:10 PM

well we are getting that snow everything thinks we should get. 5 to 10 cm over the day on top of the 5cm we got overnight.

Wonderlands 01-01-2020 12:10 AM

Thats so much snow! When does it usually stop?

bloodstainedwings 01-01-2020 03:00 PM

april. lol

Kaderin Triste 01-01-2020 09:59 PM

We're getting...rain today. Which sucks because it'll freeze and I'll have to play "don't fall and break your bones" on the way to work tomorrow because no one clean/clears their sidewalks off. Ever.

Inzanebraned 01-01-2020 11:06 PM

We got our snow the day after Thanksgiving...about 3 to 4 inches. Some places in the mountains got 12 inches!

Kaderin Triste: I hope you don't slip and get hurt!

Happy New Year everybody!

Kaderin Triste 01-02-2020 12:24 AM

If my luck hold the way it has, I should be fall and injury free for at least another month or two.
The last 2 years in a row, I've fallen and injured myself, but not usually until end of Feb - mid March.
