The Makings of a Great Game
 

I want to help the site out as I know you all want to.

So I thought hosting a game would be nice. But I'm just one person. So I'm looking for help. For ideas and people who would like to stand beside me in this and be a partner.

Now for my idea for the game:

It would be a task game. Played alone. It would go on for a set amount of time and would have rounds.

If a task is something that someone might not be able to do (ex. make a movie) then choices of tasks will be given.

Each group of tasks will have things to promote the site and with random tasks.

Hopefully we could do it several times.

Things that need to be decided:
-how long will each game go (week, month, etc)
- how often should the rounds be (once a day, every few)
-themes?

So any ideas?

This should be enough reserved since this will just be the planning thread. We'll make a nice pretty thread for the actual game.

What kind of stuff should we get?
I have some gold I can spend.
Or should I save some gold for a simple gold prize?

Also should be have a theme for each game or not?

And I think I have a pretty nice list of tasks made up.
My hope is to get the actual game up and going next weekend so I have time to set up and deal with it.
But that will be decided with hummy and anyone else who decides to help host.
