Neko Atsume: Kitty Collector [SO CUTE!!!]
 

I am obsessed with this adorable game called Neko Atsume: Kitty Collector! It's available for iOS and Android platforms, and it's super cute. Pretty simple objective -- put toys in your yard, and cats will come play!

Hi hillary84!! I'm so happy to see that other Menewshans are also playing this cute game ^_^ I just installed it yesterday after finding out a bunch of my friends had it.

So far, I've had quite a few cats visit, but I've only seen three -- Snowball, Princess, and Spots! :) The items I have for the yard are the watermelon ball, rubber ball (red), toy capsule, paper bag, and planter for now. Hoping to save up for more fancy toys later on, and hopefully enough gold fish to get the expansion!

Doing the same with the goldfish. Then I'll save more for some of the other stuff. I like the cardboard box and the ping pong ball. Those seem to be the most used. Though the same cat eats the food and I can't get his picture.

I am saving up on the silver fish now too, because I just realized you can convert form silver to gold fish. 500 silver fish for 10 gold fish!

I have never caught a cat eating the food, but the bowl always seems to empty while I'm away from the app. This is my yard right now! Three cats playing with things :)

Do you have a favorite cat or plaything? :) I think Pumpkin is so cute ^_^ but then again, they are all adorable!

I agree! The watermelon ball and toy capsule were two of the first playthings I purchased for the cats :)

Same here. The toy I don't like is the plastic bag.

I didn't buy the plastic bag, either :) I guess I just felt that a random plastic bag in the yard would look like litter more than a cute plaything.

I agree. Though my mom's cats love to sleep on plastic bags.

By the way, I just got my first memento in Neko Atsume!! :) It's a flowered collar from Snowball. Have you gotten any mementos? I'm not sure what they are for.

Basically, that means you have become the cat's friend because it has visited so many times! :) I think that is sweet.

Do you like to take pictures of the cats and the yard?

I do like to take pictures of them in the yard. But I don't have them in my phone's photo app. Have too much in there already and need to clean it out.

I know what you mean! I went a little photo crazy and now have about a hundred screenshots of Neko Atsume...have to clear those out somehow, haha

I got this app a few days ago, too! It's really cute and I like checking in and seeing which cats have visited. I try to give them all nicknames too, but I've been running out of ideas. [lol]

I'm also saving up the gold fish to get the expansion. I'm slowly getting there: 124/180. I spend all of my regular fish on the other items instead. I bought the stove heater and the largest cat tower. [:)]

I have this app/ game thingy as well [yes] it's pretty fun. I'm saving for the expansion too. Once i get that, i can go crazy and spend all my fish on the nice items. I don't give them nicknames because i think their original names are so cute [lol]

Oh wait, that's awesome -- I didn't know we could change their names! I just figured out how to do that by tapping on their names. Very cool :) although I think I will also keep their original names because I have gotten so used to them, plus they are cute and appropriate cat names in my opinion :)

Good luck Ferra on getting the expansion! That was the first thing I bought with my gold fish, haha, because I figured it would speed up the silver and gold fish earning process. I am now trying to buy all of the items / goodies, and then it's on to remodeling *nods* and of course, collecting all of the cats and their mementos in the meantime!

I have Tubs coming a lot. And Pumpkin. I like Princess, because when she visits you never see her face.
