Lately it seems that is the only time I have been around recently.

I will try to do better.

I was eating lunch and reading for a bit.

What are you reading? I should probably have some lunch but it's so hot here I really don't feel like eating. V_V

I'm reading a little newspaper that the AARP sends out.

There are some interesting articles about women choosing to purchase a home together to save money.

That does sound interesting! I was imaging you reading a book though. >.<

I do like to read.
I recently bought a book about Queen Elizabeth's life.
I think it's an unauthorized biography.

I like reading about background things on how other people live.

I'm reading a fantasy book at the moment. I like fantasy books best.

I have liked fantasy in the past.
There are a few authors that are very good.

I believe I like Mercedes Lackey the best.

I haven't heard of her before... What kinds of books does she write?

Her world is called Valdemar.
People have "gifts" such as mind-reading, empathy, telekenesis, etc.

There are "horses" which are really like Gods. They choose a person and bond with them. Those who are chosen become Heralds of Valdemar. Kind of like the highest police force. It is very hard to describe, but she is an excellent writer.

Arrows of the Queen is one of the first I read. It's a good introduction.

That sounds pretty interesting! I should check it out.
