❀ WallShamrocks ❀ A Place for Shy Leprechauns ❀
Hello frolicking little Leprechauns. Come have some lucky charms! I mean, lets chat. :)
What's shakin? |
*sneaks into the wallflower thread* How have you been, Cookie?
*sneaks very sneakily* What's up everyone?
Hi Mageling :D Hey Lumpy.
How are you guys? I'm feeling stuffed. Right after I made this thread, my cousin wanted to go to dinner, so we went out to this new Indian place. It was pretty good. I didn't love everything, but it was still good. The music was this weird Bollywood dance music that was way too loud though. And after that they put on Katy Perry, also way too loud. It was trying to be like a hip and modern Indian place, but I could have done without that part. :P |
My family went out to Joey Garlic's tonight.
omg the portions were massive, and I ate something called eggplant fries, and they were surprisingly delicious. |
Eggplant fries...? I can't imagine that tasting good.
I love eggplant. I would probably love eggplant fries. Though I'm not sure I'd want to go to what's his face's restaraunt to get them. Damn, now I can't remember his name. The Diners, Drive-Ins and Dive's guy. Guy Fieri! That's it. Yeah.
@___@ I'm not fond of eggplants at all. Iunno who taht is tho!
I love eggplant. Om nom nom.
He's some celebrity chef from Food Network. I used to enjoy his show, but he is pretty obnoxious. Even if you like him he wears you out quickly. |
How is he obnoxious?
I didn't think I would like eggplant at all, but the fries were great. All hot and crispy and soft on the inside, and the inside was practically flavorless so all you could taste was the fried outside.
Iunno tho. If that's the case, then what was the difference between them and potato fries? XD
Potato fries have more texture on the inside. The eggplant fries were practically empty, and slightly squishy. But tasty, very tasty.
I see... Iunno. I like my fries. XD
I love fries. I love potatoes and bread, pretty much, those are my favorite food groups. But I was pleasantly surprised by the eggplant fries.
The white pizza I had, on the other hand, had so much garlic on it, it could have killed a vampire. |
White pizza? o___o;
Man, where did you even go to eat? xD |
Joey Garlic's. I live in Connecticut, so I don't know how prevalent the chain is elsewhere. But the portions were absolutely massive (a small pizza was twelve inches across, okay?) and the food was amazing.
I've never heard of the place.
And that does sound like a massive small pizza. I think our mediums are smaller than 12in. .___. |
Hmm, looks like Joey Garlic is different from the place I was thinking. Johnny Garlic's is the Guy Fieri place. Too many similar sounding places.
The only famous chef I know is Gordon Ramsay. XD
My mother ran into Duff Goldman at the Baltimore airport once, that was pretty cool.
What? Not even Julia Child? She's like, THE celebrity chef, mostly because she was the first.
Julia Child? Nope. XD;;
Seriously? How old are you? 12? [gonk]
q___q. I just don't know much about celebrities!
