Work was hard today. I was so out of it. Didn't help my hip was in pain and kept trying to give out on me.

star2000shadow 12-22-2017 09:08 PM

oh wow Im sorry Kirin and i know about the hip thing if i get to cold my hip starts to lock up and will give out on me..its why the roommate doesn't like me walking anywhere he knows is even remotely slippery and without him because if i fall there's no way for me to get back up easily..

Kirin Rosenbaum 12-22-2017 10:01 PM

It's my hip. And it's not as bad as it sued to be. Besides, it was my own fault I got it.

star2000shadow 12-22-2017 10:03 PM

'blinks'..so you weren't born with it?

Kirin Rosenbaum 12-22-2017 10:26 PM

Nope. I carried a way to heavy duffle bag in junior high.

Kory 12-22-2017 10:44 PM

have a little bit of a happy holiday season

Inzanebraned 12-23-2017 08:58 AM

There was an increase in kids with back problems when the backpack became a popular way of carrying heavy study books to and from school.
When I went to echool, we rarely were assigned more than 1 book to do homework from per day.
When my kids went to school, they were often expected to carry 4 or 5 heavy books every day!
Both of my able-bodied daughters complain of back problems now as adults.
Another common reason for women to have back problems is if they have children and carry them on predominately one hip. Tis better to switch up and give each hip the same amount of work.
Its all about symmetry!

I suggest a long soak in a warm bath with Epson salts to soak away some of the aches and pains.

Kirin Rosenbaum 12-23-2017 02:04 PM

I carried all my books in my duffle bag.

I've worked in daycare and have noticed the back issues carrying children. Though I would try to switch up what hip I carried them on I couldn't. I couldn't carry them on the hip that had the bend in it.

star2000shadow 12-23-2017 10:16 PM

aww kirin I'm sorry to hear that 'huggles'

Tom Hiddleston 12-23-2017 10:17 PM

How is your hip doing now, Kirin? :(

Kirin Rosenbaum 12-24-2017 01:36 AM

Better, much better. I had this one massage therapist who would focus on my spine so it's not as bad as it used to be.

star2000shadow 12-24-2017 02:22 AM

Nice..i know when i get muscles stuck or my backs particularly killing me I'll ahve the roommate work on my shoulders back because his bony self seems able to find all the knots and force them to flex enough to unlock.

Kory 12-24-2017 03:22 AM

I'm glad you're doing better, Kirin. :)
Having soreness is awful. :(

Kirin Rosenbaum 12-24-2017 01:59 PM

Yeah, working with no break will do that to you though.
