Mythology War: Ressurected(Accepting Profiles)
http://i.ytimg.com/vi/4kxr4hfCNLs/maxresdefault.jpg Plot: In Terra Fabula, a mythical land lost in time, there is a war raging between every species of mythical creatures. From the smallest Fairy to the largest Dragon. No one remembers how or why this giant war between the species started. The only thing known is that it has always been and many think that it always will be. Little do they know that it was one person, just one thing, that caused this war to break loose in their kingdom years ago. Though no one knows or remembers the person, one thing is known: Every creature is preparing for war and there is no force powerful enough to stop them...Or is there? In every species, there is a guardian. The guardians do not know of their power and must set out on a quest to discover their abilities before it is too late. But are the fights between the species the only thing that they must face or is there an even stronger darkness that they must destroy...a darkness that might have been responsible for the war in the first place. |

Name: Akassa Anumi Age: 1,000 Gender: Female Species: Pegasus Guardian Powers: Control Over Wind: Akassa, being a creature of flight, has control over winds. She can control winds at any given time, though the stronger the winds, the weaker it makes her. Sight: Akassa has the ability to see into the future. She can't control when her visions hit her and she often passed out for a while after having them. Most of them are helpful but they are all subject to change. Animal Communication: Akassa also has the ability to communicate with animals. She can read the minds of any animals and when she speaks, all creatures can understand her. This is very helpful when delivering messages but not all of the creatures she can communicate with are willing to help her. Weapons: One of her main weapons is her wind whip. It is simply a pole that is easily held in her hand. It only acts as a small weapon unless she summons her wind to act as the lash of the whip. She also has daggers made from crystal and a crystal bow and arrow. Personality: Akassa is has a fiery attitude. She doesn't hold back her opinions and she is very brave. She is always ready to make great sacrifices to save her friends. Despite this, she knows when she has been beaten and is always ready to admit defeat when the need be. To those that know her, she can be kind and carrying when her desire to be right isn't around. Bio: Akassa grew up in a palace, being the princess of the unicorns and such. Though she was raised to be a proper princess, Akassa is far from being spoiled. She is very generous and is always willing to help out. She grow up with a mother who was much the same so it makes sense. When the war began, her mother was killed in one of the first battles and this ignited her father's rage. Although she has many aspects from both her father and mother, she, luckily, got her mothers levelheadedness. She was always there to help her father with battle plans. She was willing to do anything to help avenge her mother's death. However, those plans changed when her father was murdered by an assassin sent by one of the royals from another species. Although she felt anger for the death of both of her parents, she didn't let it get the best of her. She was left alone to rule her people alone, not even having a mate, which was unusual for Pegasi her age. Her devotion is towards the protection of her people and she will do anything to assure it. She only wishes that this dreadful war would end. Little does she know that she is one of the keys to complete the puzzle to end the war. She has no clue of what lies ahead of her but she will do anything to help end the war. Picture/Appearance: Human: http://cache.desktopnexus.com/thumbn...gthumbnail.jpg True Form: http://fc07.deviantart.net/fs70/f/20...rt-d5xge1p.jpg Other: She can often be found alone in the garden of her castle, thinking over her past and planning strategies for the next battle, though she wishes they would stop. Name: Barkydle (last name unkown) Age: 950 Gender: Male Species: Harpy Guardian Powers: Mind reading: He can read minds though if he does this on too many people in a row, he grows weak. Enhanced vision: He can see far distances and at night but after he finishes, his eye sight is a little blurry for a bit. Speed Flight: Like all of his species, he can fly. His flying, however, is twice the speed of any others in his race. He has yet to figure out why. Weapons: His weapons consist of a katana, two daggers, and his feathers which can become sharp at his command and used as throwing darts. Personality: Barkydle is, in the nicest of terms, a ladies man. He loves flirting and is very good at it. He is also arrogant, egotistical, and condescending. He also takes very few things seriously and is always in the mood to play around and annoy people. Bio: Barkydle is the general of the Harpies. He is the prince's most trusted friend and always has been. They grew up together and were hardly ever apart. Despite what people think, he did earn his position. He loves playing with the feelings of others, takes great joy in it actually. He always has, though not many know why. He has never told anyone of the relationship that made him the way he is and never plans to. After you get past his arrogance and play boy attitude, he has a soft side which is seldom shown to anyone and the only person who ever saw it was his family, whom are all dead now due to the war. His only wish is to end this war, even if death is the only path to do so. Picture/Appearance: http://th04.deviantart.net/fs71/PRE/...ma-d6x62jg.png Light Elf Quote:

Akassa sighed as she flew lower over the forest. She had been on patrol since she hated being cooped up in her palace. She was now, however, of course from her area. She knew it wasn't safe for her to fly away from her castle without her guards but she didn't care. She refused to be treated like a princess, despite being one. She never did like being spoiled. She preferred spending her entire day flying, letting the wind rush through her hair. She found a nice clearing and landed. She folded her wings against her back and began walking around, picking some flowers and putting them in her hair. She liked to try to find a bit of calm in this wild war that was raging and she love flower fields. She hoped that she would be able to protect her people. After all, that is what a guardian was suppose to do, was it not? She let out another sigh. She hated that so much was put on her shoulders but she dare not complain in front of her people. She sat down in the flower field and began braiding flowers together. Barkydle stood over his table, his battle plans spilled out in front of him. They had been trying to get past the Dragon territory for weeks now but it was always a failure. If he could just find a weak point, a place that wasn't guarded as well as the rest. With a frustrated growl, he swiped the papers off of his table and they landed on the floor. He was so frustrated that his anger was getting the better of him. Maybe he just needed to cool off. He walked out of the tent and asked his second in command for an update. "I don't know sir. The scouting party still hasn't returned," he said. Barkydle sighed and spread his wings. "I will go and search for them. Try to see if you can salvage anything from my stupid plans," he said and took off, flying towards the area where his scouting party was suppose to go. If they weren't dead and they were just being slow on their way back, he would kill them himself. He was in no mood for games. |
~*Basilisk*~ Panting heavily as a young black haired male slowly slide down to the dirt floor behind a large rock. He held a single hand over his right shoulder blade as his entire palm soon began drenched in his own dark green blood, he cursed silently to himself at the pain that surged through his body from both the pain of being injured but as well as the poison in his body spreading quickly throughout his body. Reaching for a small pouch that he left holstered on the right side of his waist belt, he pulled out a small needle that was strangely filled with some sort of teal liquid. In an instant he quickly jabbed the needle into his left arm; with a small grunt of pain from the needle being injected into his arm, the liquid slowly came out from the syringe and went immediately into his blood stream. With a deep exhale of relief of the antidote now going through his body, the young dark skinned male slowly stood back up to his feet and progressed his way through the dense forest. With each step he took, he dragged his feet across the forest floor with a limp from his wound. Every so often, making sure to take a glimpse behind him to see if his enemies were still after him. He could hear the many male voices echoing throughout the forest area as they called out to one another to take different directions in groups to find the young male. These creatures were none other than Goblins, they were in search for Basilisks in hopes to be able to cut them open and use their poisons to be able to enhance their weapons to be able to do damage just as powerful as the poison that have been legendary around the lands of mythical creatures. This young male wasn't about to give up his life so easily just for a group of creatures that were so curious about something they weren't ever going to get a hold of. After several minutes of continuous limping; the young dark skinned male had finally come across a large open area that held a lake. The bright white full moon shined it's reflection across the open water as the young basilisk dropped to his knees; coughing up his green poisonous blood onto the muddy ground before him. "Come on...Just give me a few more seconds." He whispered silently to himself as the sound of the annoying goblin voices came ever closer with each passing moment. As he remained kneeling in front of the large open area; a quick jolt of relief shot through the young male's body as he exhaled yet another sigh, this time with a bit more confidence. "Finally.." Those were the last words that came from his lips as the several groups of goblins had finally approached the open area with the lake as they all rendezvoused around the young basilisk with all their swords and spears directed straight towards his body. The leader of the group had demanded for the male to surrender himself to the goblins and come with them quietly or they would kill him; the male gave nothing more than silence in return as the skin around the male's body began to crack all around his facial area and down his entire back down to his tail. In an instant, the body dropped backwards onto the floor as nothing more than an empty shell but the male continued to remained kneeled on the muddy ground; this time completely healed of his wounds and his body dripping with slight bits of slimy green liquids. "Give up..hm? Do we honestly have to fight...I mean, at this point; I will give you one final chance to leave me. Please, do yourself a favor and leave..I don't wish to harm you." The male spoke up as the group of goblins quickly let out their obnoxious laughter before raising their weapons and preparing to attack due to hearing the male's demands. Immediately as their weapons came down upon the male, they were quickly stopped as a pitch black shell came over his body to protect him from each of their weapons. "I warned you..forgive me." The male basilisk spoke up one final time as his voice deepened with his sentence coming to an end. The goblins had all began to bash their sharpen weapons onto the black shell as though they were hoping to break through it with no luck. In a matter of moments, the shell quickly shattered in an instant with a humongous tail swooping the area around him; crushing the trees and splashing the water into a large wave across the forest. The goblins had all gone flying in opposite directions, each one of them either being killed by the force of being slammed by the large body of the basilisk if not the impact of wherever they landed harmed them severely. Those who might've even possibly survived had no other choice but to crawl if not limp away to safety. The amount of damage that the young basilisk had done to the area had gave him the once densely thick forest, now about three to four mile flattened plain of debris. By the time the dust and dirt had settled down, there was no longer the large snake-like creature that once did that amount damage but the young dark skinned male. Taking a light glimpse around the amount of damage he had done, he gave a concerned frown as he turned his attention away from the direction he had run from and continued on his path north. He had overheard rumors on his travels that there was a town nearby that shockingly held many races all together there that actually were able to live together throughout this senseless war. Curious about whether or not this rumor were true, the young basilisk went on his way. ~*Phoenix*~ Crouching in front of a small flower that was high up above on a cold mountain at the edge of a cliff; a male with violet hair held out onto a small notebook and pen along with several other colored pens and pencils in a small pouch on the rocky surface next to him. Remaining crouched in front of the delicate yet very detailed plant, he traced the picture into his notebook carefully. From time to time he lifted his gaze between his picture and the flower to make sure that he was getting every part of the shape correctly, this was his first time visiting harpy territory and knowing even during the war that all the races pretty much disliked each other to a large extent; the male phoenix wasn't about to let some war stop him from learning things that he never knew about the other races. Switching between the different coloring tools he had at his disposal, shaded in different parts of the plant on his notepad until a large gust of wind came by him and nearly ripped the plant off from the edge of the cliff. Luckily enough, the violet haired male was able to reach out and stop the flower from blowing away as he cupped it into his hand and gave a small chuckle. He knew that the mountains was a dangerous place to be; especially compared to how the harpies lived within the mountains at their villages where the wind wasn't as powerful compared to the outside and even more higher up towards the tip of the mountain itself. Tucking away his drawing notebook and packing up his things, the male phoenix had pulled out yet another notebook; this one being a deep brownish color that held many different flowers inside it that were pressed with the help of a strap that was wrapped around the book itself. Opening up the strap and flipping through the pages for an empty spot, he placed the newly found flower carefully onto the page before closing the book softly and wrapping the strap around it once more. "Another one for the book." He spoke to himself with another small laugh before closing his eyes for a second or so. Quickly reopening his eyes in an instant, a small smirk came across the male's lips as his once light purple eyes had now shifted to a more reddish orange color. With the change of his eyes, in the next second his body was immediately engulfed in flames as he bolted off the side of the mountain and straight into the open air. For a matter of moments, those who would've seen him would see nothing more than what looked like a giant ball of flames dash throughout the open sky and vanish in the blink of an eye through the clouds, only leaving a small trail of fire that began to vanish in moments. Flapping his wings throughout the open sky, his body soon took shape to be a giant bird. Flying through the sky; over several different territories of different races, he came across several battlefields that were both nothing more than wastelands from previous battles due to this war if not there were even some battles that continued on as he flew over them. Luckily, with the help of the clouds; he was able to keep out of sight as he flew over the fighting towards a small hideout that he had far into a neutral area of the many lands that were controlled by other races. The area wasn't exactly too large, it was just somewhere that was quite secluded from the many other races and he found it to be quite a great place to remain hidden from the other races. |
"Oh come on now!" The blur shouted half-heartedly as It ran down the path with an angry screeching snake-woman chasing after It, "It wasn't even like I started it this time!" |
~Minotaur~ 'There have been many powerful warriors, throughout this war....' Alistair thought, crossing the bridge, 4 minotaurs behind him. The fog was dense around the bridge, but anyone could hear the moans, and the sound of clattering bones, as the undead began crossing the bridge. Skeletons with rusty weapons and armor, and undead, brought back against their will. Alistair's face turned blank, as he and his men changed into their Minotaur forms. 'But in the end, I still stand, a veteran amongst these young souls. When war is your life, you learn to adapt, or die. It's as simple as that'. With that thought, Alistair let out a loud battle-cry, with he and the minotaurs charging. The Undead were little more than a game for the minotaurs alone, but with the number of dead rising from the war, the undead were greater in numbers, and the necromancers that summoned them were greater in power, they were challenging. Alistair lifted his axe from his back, and swung, launching several zombies into the air, and scatters the bones of dead warriors everywhere, tripping several of the undead. With a grin on his face, and weapon in hand, he began running towards the bulk of the Horde. "HERE WE GO!!! FOLLOW ME, BOYS!!!"He yelled to his men, who followed close behind him. Druid Fukushu was on the edge of a river-bank, up in a willow tree, hanging over it. Fuku had his metal balls in hand, but was controlling the body of a fish in the water, watching for the Mermaid Priestess. She was coming this was, and he had to be ready. The fish acted as his eyes, and when she was close, he would strike. The Area was wide, so Fukushu knew he had one shot at this. If he could launch all of them in quick succession, he could force her out of water, and track her on land, making killing her a lot easier. He was impatient, but he knew that if he fucked this up, he wouldn't get another chance any time soon. 'Goddamn Fish people, think they're so innocent. When my family needed help, they turned us away! Fucking self-concerned vermin.'he thought to himself, lightly rapping on the tree trunk. He wanted to get this over with, as he had other targets to get to. He heard that there was a High-ranking Harpy trying to get into Dragon Territory, somewhere North of here, and he wanted to be there more than here. This might be the Harpy that attacked his village. |
Night Elf The air was cool on Vera's skin as she silently moved through the thick forest, heading further and further out of her territory. Smoothing back her dark hair, the elven princess found herself beginning to feel the effects of thick heat that radiated beneath the thick canvas of the forest. Deciding that taking a break would be most beneficial, Vera leaned against a mossy tree trunk and sipped on the water she brought with her. The bladder of an animal, cleaned and crafted for holding water, had been a gift and though it made her uncomfortable to use it, she knew it would be needed for traveling outside the city walls. Though the safety of the castle was a welcoming comfort in such perilous times, Vera couldn't convince herself to always stay inside. Against the protests of her step mother and a few slips of the guards, the night elf has been able to sneak out of the city premises a few times a week. Why she left the castle, no one would really understand. She felt like a caged animal needing to escape, wanting to be free. Wanting to be away from what so many would only dream of having. |
They spoke of another caravan moving through the forest, but he knew more. The others did not trust the moths or the swamplings, choosing only to speak with the songbirds they chose to ride. But the songbirds had little thoughts of the matter, moths and nightjars loved gossip as much as they loved lies. Jarile trusted the moths more than some of his own kin and he was able to weave the truth from their tales. There was more than just caravan movement in the forest as of recently, individuals walked alone, something only the foolhardy or the powerful did. Since he wasn't asked to help in the raid on the caravan he felt it would be good to track down some of these lone travelers down.
Falling out of his tree hallow his wings opened and whirred to life carrying him onwards. The forest past by him and he darted between trunks, not bothering to hide his own travels with the mimicry of a bird's flight. Judging by the thinning of vegetation he was nearing an edge of the forest. He still hadn't heard or seen any signs of wanderers, usually the moths' gossip held some truth. This time they were more cryptic than usual though. "'A path unseen, the travelers take. Slowly loss thins their ranks. Near the Dragon's tooth they try to seek. But unlucky them for they are weak.' What the hell did they even mean with that, and their constant humming while they rhyme in turn." He complained to himself as he flit over the path leading out towards the Dragon peaks. Resting on a branch facing out of the forest he waited. |
In a small lake surrounded by entangled woodland, the water rippled as a large figure passed beneath its surface. Soon, a large head emerged, water streaming down its side as its mouth gaped open, taking in deep breaths of air as it briefly surveyed the surroundings. Then, with regular rhythmic movements, the body of the creature propelled itself forwards, moving towards the bank with apparent excitement. Upon reaching the shore, the creature pulled itself out of the water, revealing a long, serpentine-like body supported a network of legs.
As Echidna emerged from the water, she looked upwards once more to observe the land. Knowing that she had seen movement above the twisted canopy of the trees, she searched for it again, hoping to find its cause. After a few momensts, she found that the cause had disappeared, so she chose to travel in the direction of its source. The dragon excused her sudden curiosity with the hunger pains that stuck in her sides. Believing that the cause of the movement was either another dragon come to her territory or a source of food, Echidna thought it'd be best to confront the beast either way. Her slim body began to weave through the trees as she moved into the darkness. Echidna's markings helped her blend into the inky lighting, although as she moved further and further from her lake the knotted trees began to pull apart, allowing more sunlight to drop down unto the ground. Disgruntled with this change, yet still curious about the source of the movement she had seen earlier, she pressed on. A cool wind blew humid air into Abha's home, a small hut that lay near the outskirts of faer town. Sitting at a desk apparently making calculations for some procedure, Abha leaned back to reach for a coat that was laying on the ground. As faer hand became closer to grasping the jacket, faer chair had been tilted back enough that Abha lost faer balance and fell to the ground, alongside faer chair. Bemused yet unashamed of faer blunder, Abha merely shifted to a sitting position on the floor. Then, grabbing faer jacket, fae cloaked faerselves with it and stood up, setting the chair into its original position in a dignified manner. Glancing at faer written calculations, Abha then turned around and left faer home, buttoning faer coarse jacket and hiding faer hands inside its spacious pockets. As fae moved about the town, Abha was surprised at the absence of locals. Normally they'd be milling about, either fishing or selling their wares. However, as the cyclops moved forth through the village, fae became aware of a background noise. Tilting faer head towards the noise, Abha's eyes widened as fae recognized the noises of battle. Worry soon spread across faer face as Abha began to run towards the source of the noise, pumping xir arms and legs furiously as fae moved forward. Reaching the bridge that connected the village to the main body of land, Abha halted in awe as minotaurs lay chaos upon an army of undead soldiers. The scene took a few moments to process, but as soon as Abha collected faerself, fae ran into the mayhem, hoping to give aid to those the minotaurs. |
Within the waters of a locate river, there swam something that was considered normal in the land. Of course, at first glance, it would be believed to be fresh out of a story book, but this was as real as it could get. In the water, the fish swam peacefully as if there was nothing wrong in the world, however that wasn't the true. There was something wrong, and it was war. A war that has been tearing the very fabric of trust that everyone had for one another. There were still some mythical beings who didn't wish to have this war, but it couldn't be helped. Most of the races had to defend themselves or risk losing everything. In one kingdom of Oceania, they had no choice but to join in the war. Things were becoming a little too hectic, and there wasn't much they could do. The people of the kingdom had supported their rulers, through this pain. However, Oceania had lost their Rulers recently, so their only child had to take their place.
Their child, the princess of Oceania, had to take the throne when they died. It was no easy task, she was still new to it, however, it wasn't going to bother her. The people of Oceania never called their royal family by their royal titles, they always called them by Priest or Priestess as well as Shrine Maiden. They use these titles, believing they were a little more respectable than the other Royal titles. The princess in Oceania would use the title Priestess since her mother and father were no long a part of this world. However, even if you go to the palace, she would not be there. She was almost never in there since she wanted to explore the world and help those who never had the chance to protect themselves. She gave blessings to those who asked for them, often doing it out of the kindness of her heart. The young Priestess' name was Ariella, Ariella Persephone Wa'Terra. She had been on dry land for a while, swimming through rivers to get from place to place. Ariella looked to her left as she swam in her disguised mermaid form; her red kimono fluttered in the water, her red glittering tail swished about. Her long black hair was pulled into pigtails as she held her trident in her hands, looking left and right at the fish surrounding her. A smile spread on her face as a faint giggle escaped her lips she dove towards the bottom as she shifted through the sand with the blades of her trident, looking for some shells to take back home. The children of her homeland were too young to leave since the war was going on. They didn't want to have their children dying because of the senseless war. Ariella giggled to herself, sighing happily as she found some shells and placed them in her pouch. Her tail moved up towards her chest for a moment as she soon moved her tail, pretending to be sitting. "Ahh, I have found them, perfect. I just hope I can find more shells for more the children at home." She said softly, giggling sweetly as she spun in a small circle. The sunlight shone lightly in the land, the sound crickets filled the air as the sound of hooves filled the air. The sounds were heavy, the dirt came up from each thunderous step the hooves created as they continued running. The creature making the thunderous sound was a brute of a creature, a large body covered in black fur with strange bone-like wings protruded from their back. The being's hair was like a very dark gray as well as the long hairy tail flowed behind her. On the being's arms, there was a large archery bow fused to it, the bow looked deformed and appeared to be a bit sturdier than most bows. The sword was attached to her other arm, the blade was black with a silver handling, the sword of her family, the Lockhart Blade. The young being, from afar, was a centaur. However, up close, it looked like it was something that came straight out of Hell. The young being's name was Ingrid Lockhart, the daughter of Grand Duchess Heather Thomas-Lockart and Grand Duke Fredrick Lockhart of the Lockhart tribe. She had been training to be a Guardian since she was young. However, once she had finished her training, Ingrid left to travel around so she could find the one who caused her birth to be cursed. The hooves crashed into the earth under her, she was on a mission and she was going to see it through to the end. Find one who did this to her, if not then find the race. She wanted to know how reverse it and make it possible for her to be normal again. Doing research was going to be hard since the race was next to impossible to find, so maybe running to where her parents last saw the creatures would help. Ingrid continued running until she skidded to a halt, standing on the edge of a small cliff. She looked down, it didn't seem to be too big for her to slide down, so carefully, she leaned back and slid down the small steep cliff. Her hooves scraped the rocky ground as she came to a halt at the bottom. She breathed heavily, her lungs filling with air as she walked through the lower half of the woods until she came across a large clearing. The water looked drinkable as she crouched low, her torso lowering towards the water as she took a sip of the clean water. Ingrid sighed heavily, she figured she had been running for almost a week in a half, taking breaks in between. She sighed lightly, the weapons on her arms shrinking to a reasonable size so she could use her hands to fix her hair. Ingrid was a little tired, but she knew had to continue. Her tail swished side to side as she smiled softly to herself, "I have made great progress. Mother and father will happy to hear this once I have sent word." She said with a smile on her face. Her tail swaying lightly in happiness, she decided to rest there, laying down on her stomach with her legs curled at her sides lightly. Within the area of Vengera, there was a large village filled with elves, pixies and a few other creatures. They had enough land to spare, which they used it to make more than enough homes for them. Everyone was grateful for what the managed to have, however, there was a dark secret, a secret within the trees. Within the forest of Vengera, there is said to be a village within it. A village that can't be seen from far away, you have to be up close and personal in order to see it. On the ground, it looked just a normal forest until you looked up. The village was in the trees, suspended a 15 meters from the ground. Each house was connected to a platform b a set of bridges. They spanned throughout the whole village, making it easier to move around. This was necessary for the beings who lived there, beings of unbelievable strength and power. Beings who were feared for it, yet they were respected for it until the last of their days. The creatures were Roylana Gorganians, or Gorganians for short. Creatures with the strength and brains to match. However, due to an unfortunate turn of events, the lost everything. Their home, their families, their friends, the trust they had for their former friends...and their beloved rulers. They lost it all, and because of this, they had to go into hiding. The Gorganians had to do this, they weren't wanted anymore, the beings had gotten what they needed from the Goranians. But now, they had returned and with their new queen, they were ready with make a new village and live there. However, their new queen, the daughter of their late king and queen, wasn't in her right mind. The Gorganians only hoped and prayed their young Queen would return to her sweet and gentle self. Until then, the Gorganians were more than happy to help their queen in any way. Some of the Gorganians were home by order of their queen, spying on the mythical creatures. Meanwhile, their queen was off in her own little world. She was away from almost everyone, not really paying attention to her surroundings. Their queen was quite young, compared to the average age for a Gorganian, she was young. Her appearance was of a 19 - 20 year old as a human with long jet black hair that went half way to her knees, a red ribbon sat on top of her head and a red eye. Her skin was lightly tanned, not too dark nor too light. What would throw most people off is the fact she didn't really wear clothes. She wore white bandages almost all over. Her head, chest, some of her thighs, her upper arms, her right eye, her hips, and between her legs. On her feet she wore black flats. The young girl's name was Mirage, Mirage Crystella-Pearla. She was the queen of the Roylana Gorganian race, however she didn't really show it. Mirage sat on a rock in front of a rather large lake, she didn't really care for who's territory she was on, all she was doing was just sitting there. The light of the sun reflected off the water, it was very pretty to her and peaceful in a way. With the war going on, it was nice to some people to herself. She looked down towards the water, picking up a rock as she threw it in the water, it skipped a few times forehead coming to a stop and sunk to the body. Before it did that, it left a few ripples within the water, Mirage, being as curious as a cat, leaned forward and gently placed a finger in the water. She felt the water, it was cool to the touch, just as she liked it. Her long hair fell to her sides as she got on her hands and knees, the tattoo on her back becoming a little more visible. However, it was still covered mostly by the bandages around her body. Her strange tail swaying left and right at her sides as she purred softly, pulling her hand from the water, watching the water drip from her fingers. Mirage was easily amused by almost anything, she hadn't seen this world in millennia and she wanted to enjoy every moment of it. "Ahh~ so nice. Very lovely here indeed." She said to herself, leaning back on her knees as she ran her fingers through her hair; the loose ends of the bandages around her head, arm and hips swayed slightly in the breeze, her eyes closing. "I wonder how they feel, seeing this world as it is now." She said, her eyes looking into the water, the memory of her parents playing through her head. |
As Echidna pushed through the resolute plant life, she noticed that the trees had begun to thin out and were becoming spaced apart. Pausing for a moment, she lifted her head and peered past the treeline. She realized then that she was nearing a clearing of wildflowers, their fragrance beginning to perfume the air. Echidna herself did not find this field beautiful, although many others would find it holding inspirational wonder. Instead, she found herself bothered by the strong scent of the flowers, which irritated her noise and blocked out other smells. Thus, she hid in the few shadows that the trees offered her, feeling vulnerable and defensive. However, the dragon's mood lightened when she saw what had upset her day earlier. A girl lay in the fields, intertwining flowers that she had picked around her. Curious, Echidna began to step out into the sunlight, but not before her stomach grumbled. Realizing that if this girl was to be food, she'd likely be scared off by Echidna's unsettling appearance. Reluctantly then, she backed into the shadows. After a few moments, however, a slim snake pushed their way towards the girl.
Often Echidna hid underneath the thick cover offered by the flowers, thus hiding herself from her target. However, as she came closer to the girl, she realized that there were... wings? On her back? In amazement, Echidna lifted her body up above the flowers and peered at the person's wings, without a care that she was only a mere few feet from the target. |
~Alistair~ With Battle in his mind, Alistair paid little attention to the Cyclops at first. He was too busy having fun crushing the creatures. He did, however, note that the Cyclops was fighting alongside them, as the Horde began to dissipate. Soon, what few undead creatures remained fled into the forest. The Minotaurs all roared with victory. Alistair changed back into his human form, and approached the Cyclops, smiling broadly."It takes a man to fight for what you believe in, but it takes a great man, to fight for others. You have my respect, and my thanks, kind one. "he said, bowing. "I am Alistair, Head Guard of this Village. To whom may I owe the pleasure of thanking for protecting my home?"he asked. ~Fukushū~ Fukushū eyed his quarry lightly, watching her fall asleep ever so lightly. "Foolish girl. She shall learn the error of her way's. "He said, than stood up on the Tree branch. Tossing two balls into the air, He sent them towards her, using his Kinetic manipulation to give them the force and speed of a bullet. They would both make two impact craters near her. He didn't intend to kill her....yet Calling forth a Small pack of wolves, he had them block the way to the river, which would prevent her escape. He then finally began jumping from tree to tree, trying to get closer to the woman. By his hand, or the creature's of the forest, this woman would die today. |
http://i.imgur.com/e3HchSJ.png While the young Basilisk made his way across the large plain of debris from him wiping out the flattened trees; he had turned his attention left to right several times to look at the amount of damage he had done to the whole area around him. The thought of where each of the Goblins that had survived the wipeout of him whipping his tail in such a reckless motion had gotten him curious on whether or not the goblins were going to plan on vengeance for those that the young basilisk had killed. Whatever the case was, even if they had planned on something like that; he had hoped that he would be able to make it to somewhere safe before that time came. Continuing on his path, the dark haired male had felt a strange presence around him every so often while he was making his way down the path in front of him. It felt almost like someone was watching him from somewhere; he hadn't bothered to come to a halt to take a look around to possibly know where he was getting the feeling from. Without so much as word, it was only a matter of minutes before the dark skinned male had finally reached the other side of the woods; where the trees were still standing. Once there, the basilisk had quickly began to rush throughout the forest to try and the feeling of being watched by whoever or whatever was around him. Every so often, he made sure to touch the trunks of the trees that he had passed to let off a deadly poison that would begin eating away at the trunk and cause it to collapse behind him. If this was going to be another group of goblins, he had hoped to get away from them rather than have to cause so much damage as he had done earlier. Not to mention, the antidote that he had used earlier to keep the poison that was already within his blood stream to begin with was already beginning to wear off; with this problem persisting to make itself a nuisance to him, whenever he could the male was going to have to find somewhere that he could hide to take another dose of the antidote to keep his the poison from killing him. To be killed by the one thing of many others that his race was known for being dangerous and than captured and experimented on to be used for the samething was even worse than embarrassing. If this so-called safe haven of a village did exist, he was planning on finding it; no matter what the cost was so that he could live the rest of his life in peace so that he would either be able to show those who fought in this war that the fighting was either pointless or peace could just be possible. The young male had known this travel was going to be dangerous and he was fully prepared for this; his ambition to find this village was far beyond any kind of danger that posed to him though. Clenching his fists tightly as he dashed left to right and around the tree trunks; he could soon feel the poison getting more and more intense through his blood stream. It was only going to be a matter of time that his limbs were going to go limp. "Come on..I have to keep mov--" Right before he could continue his words; the sudden feeling within his legs were instantly lost in seconds. Collapsing to ground with a thud, he had no other choice but to begin to use his hands to crawl at least behind the nearest tree for safety. "Dammit..dammit..dammit." He whispered silently to himself while he crawled on the floor from the pain of the poison spreading faster and faster through his body. http://i.imgur.com/D1SIYvw.png Soaring through the open air; staying within the Harpy's terrority for another few more miles; it was only a matter of moments that the large flaming bird had come across something that caught his attention on the ground. From high up in the sky, it had looked to be what seemed to be more of an ant than anything; but if he were come to closer it was come out more clearly that the 'ant' like figures from far down below were actually three dead male harpies. Arching a brow as the large phoenix circled around the one spot that had caught his attention over everything else he had found on his way over the land from up in the sky. It was only a matter of time of not seeing the figure move in any form or way that he had began to descend from high up above towards the forest floor. Landing with a loud thud, in an instant his entire body was consumed once more into a large burst of flames as he returned into his humanoid-like form. Kneeling in front of the dead male harpies, he placed a single hand over their throats to check if they were still alive. "No pulse...hm, their dead." He whispered sorrowfully to himself before standing back up to his feet and turning his head left to right to see if there were any more in the area that were searching for these dead bodies. Slowly making his way over towards the nearest tree, he slid down with his back against the tree trunk as he crossed his arms to watch the dead bodies of the harpies before him. Takumi had hoped that some other harpies would come to help out their fallen comrades, unaware that the General of the harpies army was making his way towards this exact location. With his violet hair dropping in front of his face, he closed his eyes to take a small nap while he awaited for someone to arrive at least to help take away these harpies. Even if it was going to be a random traveler; Takumi had hoped that he would be able to ask for some sort of assistance to help carry these people back to their home rather than leave them here where the wilderness could take them away and rip apart their bodies. http://i.imgur.com/cM56pt4.png Standing with his arms crossed and his head just slightly lowered along with his eyes shut. A young male Gorganian had been standing nearby to where the Queen of his race was sitting on a small boulder by a large lake as it had seemed. This male's name was Yukito and he was Mirage's personal bodyguard; he is normally around her at all times other than when within the palace since it was nearly guarded from one entrance to the next with guards enough to the point that Yukito can easily drop his guard about the safety of the Queen. However, whenever she left the palace to go anywhere; he is normally always nearby somewhere, unlike other bodyguards who stood really close nearby to the point that it gave away obvious facts that he was her bodyguard; Yukito normally stayed at a slight distance and blended into the crowds if not the shadows to watch for danger. Even if Yukito was a bodyguard, it didnt mean he didn't have a life and understood that the Queen wanted her own space rather than have the people of their own race to see her nothing more as someone to be feared at all times. At this point, Mirage was near the outskirts of the forest of a completely different territory. With that kind of knowledge and just knowing that they weren't in the safest area to be; Yukito had prepared himself for any sort of attack coming from any kind of race that lurked in these area. His katana remaining sheathed on his side while his staff rested against the side of the tree that he had standing right in front of it. Keeping his eyes shut, he kept his senses sharp for any kind of sound of interruption in the area around the two of them. "Miss Mirage; do you think it is truly wise to be here? I understand you wished to visit the land of the other races, although to be this far in another's territory. Do you not think, that if they send an entire squad or so; we shall be in trouble?" He spoke up with his tone of voice sounding nearly emotionless and serious the entire time. |
Hours of walking later, Janus was forced to concede that It was hopelessly lost. |
Akassa sensed someone watching her and tried to look around for the source. She wondered who could possibly be out here. She shook her head. Maybe she was just paranoid. She finished with the flower crown and smiled. She loved doing this. She put the flower crown on her head and it fit perfectly. She smiled then noticed movement. When she looked over, she didn't notice it at first but when she looked closer, she saw a snake. She let out a gasp and slowly stood up. She didn't really like snakes, though she wasn't afraid of them. The only thing that worried her was that she didn't know how to tell if it was poisonous or not. She quickly flapped her wings so that she was float off the ground. She wanted to be able to run away if needed. Something was off about this snake but she didn't know what. Barkydle was getting annoyed by the time he found the site of his dead men. It had taken him almost an hour to find them. He saw them in an area in a small clearing in the forest and descended. He wondered what had happened to them. More so, he wondered what had killed them. He landed and walked up to them. He checked their pulse and received nothing. He let out a sound close to a growl. He then noticed the male asleep against a tree. He quietly drew out his katana and walked up to the male. He pointed the katana at the male and spoke. "Wake up," he said coldly. If this was the one who killed his men, then he was foolish to fall asleep next to them. He waited for the male to stir. If he hadn't killed his men, the male, who he could now tell was a phoenix, would still have to answer for being in his territory. |

~~Faerie~~ Nothing came out from the path, he wondered if he had arrived too late. Or even far too early, he hated waiting. The moths weren't too descriptive on what race these travelers were, or even their numbers. Just that they were either dead or dying in the woods as they attempted to find entrance to the Dragon Peeks. He didn't care about the dragons, what would they want with the smallest of the forest denizens. A humming of insects picked up back along the hidden path. //Birds of fire and People birds. Feathers not the same. Dead and living, none too happy! Beware the sparks of flame!// Jerile got the message loud and clear, cicadas repeated the call a few times before changing subject back to mating season and where the predators were at. Getting up from his branch, he was more careful to mask his flight this time some minor illusions so that if anyone was to look up they would see something feathered flitting from tree to tree. The clearing below him had three possibly four dead large beings, and one, possibly two, living. It was hard to tell when they slept unless he was shoving beetles up their nostrils. That was a fun game! Right now he was to wait and listen. If there was important enough information to be obtained, then maybe the Fae council would forgive him for wandering so far away, or not, he wasn't to bothered by it either way. Maybe it would be more fun to set the silverbugs loose on the fae archives, but then he would never know what the two feathered large beings were up to. ~~Will-o-wisp~~ Laughter twinkled as the marsh flowers consumed a pack beast that had been tempted in with the false promises of lush pasture land. The pastures faded as the beast found itself stuck in the quagmire, and the carnivorous plants made slight work of the animal. Bouncing on her heels, a blue light platted the flowers as if they were good dogs before dancing off on top of the marsh surface. "Such pretty things, pretty things." her voice was sweet and childlike. "Eating flesh and stripping bones. Just delightful!" She danced deeper into the swamp, casting an eerie glow on the decaying woods around her. The darkness of the swamp gave way to the darker forest, she could not pass this boundary. But she was contempt to skirt the edges imagining paths that did not exist, paths that others thought were real until it was too late. |
Ariella smiled softly as she continued picking through the shells into her hand. Moving slightly as the young princess shifted her hand through the wet sand. Ariella hummed softly as she looked up towards the fish that swam around her, the young mermaid was about to swim up towards the surface when two sudden explosions rung through the water. Ariella shrieked as she curled into a ball, the water heated slightly as she started swimming away, her tail swaying frantically in order to get away from what was happening. 'Wh-What's going on? Who is attacking me?' She thought to herself, her eyes shifting up towards the direction the random explosion came from, her trident stuck out of her side, her hand gripping the handle tightly. The gem within the trident glowed lightly, the water around her started whirling about. It shifted around as she turned around heading towards the surface. 'I can't always do this, I don't want to harm anyone, but I won't accept death without a proper reason.' She thought for a moment, her eyes appeared to become slightly void of life.
Ingrid sighed heavily, standing up on her hooves as she started walking again. She had been wandering from place to place. Once she had gotten her fill of water, she continued on. The ground under her shook only slightly as she walked; must have been from her tall frame. The young she-centaur sighed heavily, looking around as she walked into the forest again. She continued walking further into the woods. She believed she was on the very edges of the Dryad territory, her hooves thumping against the ground with a swish of her tail. "I wonder whom I'm going to meet first, I should be trespassing, I am just barely cross the line." She said to herself, crossing her weaponed arms as she looked around at the trees surrounding her. Mirage purred softly at the feeling of the water. Her bladed tail swished about happily, it wasn't every day she got to travel outside of Vengera. She leaned back, resting on her arms as she looked back. Blinking lightly, she heard someone speak up suddenly. Mirage had to admit, it caught her off-guard a little. She looked back to see a young man standing her, he wasn't too close to her yet he wasn't too far. His question, however, was very important it was about the territory they were on. Mirage blinked her visible red eye, her long black hair following her movements as she slid off the rock. Her tail swayed lightly as she walked up close to the man she walked with, it was tall compared to her, of course, she was only 5'1 in her human form. She lifted her hand and gently pointed his nose. The man was her bodyguard, she had known him for a long time since she was a small child. Mirage giggled softly as she place her arms behind her back, her red eye looking left and right before looking up again, "You worry too much my dear Yuki, however I understand your concern." She said with a smile on her face. The bandages stretched lightly with each movement Mirage made, she walked away for him, her back facing him. She then turned around, a smile on her face as she giggled; "If they send a squad then we will run. We will not harm them, not yet. Now, why are you being so serious? It's just me, be yourself so I'm not completely bored~." Mirage squealed lightly, her hand gently patting Yukito's shoulder with her cheeks puffed. "Let's see, if I am correct, we are in Pegasus territory so, we don't have much to worry about." the young queen giggled, soon a faint gasp escaped her lips, the bandages around her right eye loosened and drooped low, revealing the shimmering, bright silver eye.The outer part of her eye, which should be white was actually black, if you look closely, you could see the light pink viens in her eye. She quickly covered it up with her hand and looked away. "I never thought I would be ashamed of our peoples' natural eye color." She whispered to herself, her voice was low and almost inaudible. |
Janus was muttering curses after another hour of walking. While the air didn't feel as though the humidity was getting worse, it wasn't getting any better either. In fact, the ground seemed to be getting mushier and mushier, and Its feet kept getting caught in potholes. The force wasn't enough to break Its ankles, but it was still annoying nonetheless. So far the only signs of life It has seen were the occasional squirrel or bird or bug or some other small, unintelligent animal. And the weird plants that kept trying to curl their tendrils around It, only to withdraw sharply upon contact against Its plate-like skin. Again, harmless, but annoying. |
http://i.imgur.com/D1SIYvw.png Sitting with his back against the tree the entire time; Takumi had slowly fallen into a deep slumber within just a matter of minutes of waiting for anyone to just show up and check out the dead harpies that were on the ground before him. Snoring quietly to himself while he sat there, the sound of the forest creatures that roamed the area helped him to keep himself calm, the violet haired male didn't really think it through too much about how he was in a completely different territory rather than in the one that his people normally roamed around. Although he knew about the war that raged on between all the different races, he strangely didn't mind being around in another race's territory without being too afraid. While he sat there, it was moments later that the strange sound of what seemed to be flapping had caught the male phoenix's attention within his subconscious; to him he had simply thought it was all within his head that he was hearing feathers flapping near and more near him with each passing minute that went by. The last thing Takumi had expected was feeling the sharp point of an object right in front of him. Although the sharp point didn't really do any real physical damage to his body, just the feeling of being in a sort of danger had gave away well enough that he was being threatened at this very moment. Rather than going straight into a defensive mode and enveloping himself and whatever or whoever was standing before in him a ball of fire; he slowly reopened his eyes only to see that a male harpy now stood before him with a cold expression across his face. Arching a brow towards the male harpy that stood before him in silence, the violet haired male slowly raised his right index finger and touched the dull side of the katana before moving it down and away from his own body. "May I help you, sir?" The male phoenix spoke in a quiet yet slightly tiresome tone as though he was prepared to fall back asleep. Due to him being woken up the way he was, the memory about the fact that he was simply waiting for someone to show up and deal with the dead bodies before him had completely been forgotten. Giving a small yawn, he stretched his arms over his head and awaited for an answer from the male harpy as to why he was pointing a weapon straight at Takumi's face as though he was prepared to attack out of nowhere. http://i.imgur.com/e3HchSJ.png Struggling through the best of his ability, the young basilisk had continued to crawl through all the pain that surged throughout his body due to the poison spreading more and more quickly through his bloodstream. Although it took minutes to get behind a tree that was only a couple of feet in front of him, the dark skinned male had eventually made it behind the tree and rested his back against the large trunk of it. Panting heavily, he reached into his pouch once more and pulled out yet another needle that was filled with the blueish liquid that he had used earlier to subdue the poison and jabbed it once more into his arm. Pressing down onto the back of the needle to inject the liquid into his blood, Ryosuke had finally given a deep sigh of relief at how quickly the antidote was working. "Thank the Goddess.." he whispered quietly to himself before resting the back of his head against the tree trunk, all the while still panting heavily at how close he was to getting himself killed. He had hoped that during the time he had been trying to escape the sight of whoever or whatever had been following him; due to all the debris he caused to come down on his way throughout the dense forest, he had lost whatever or whoever it was that was chasing him. Unaware that the person was actually much closer than he had hoped them to be. For the time being, the dark skinned male did his best to simply try and catch his breath. Once he would catch his breath, he would be able to continue on his path and try to make his way once more towards the village that he had heard so many rumors about. While he sat there trying to just catch his breath so that he could at least stand back up and begin traveling forward once more. The strange feeling of being watched once more came over his body. Lowering his head down to keep himself from straining the back of his neck, he awaited for whatever was going to decide to jump out at him sooner or later and try to attack him. Even with the antidote, it didn't mean that his strength was completely back just yet; the feeling within his legs were completely still numbed but with the feeling within them just steadily returning, it wasn't going to be enough to defend himself against any kind of real attack. In a sudden instant, a figure stepping out from the shadows of the forest had came out. The slender body of the figure gave away that it was a female as she approached the young basilisk before greeting him with a 'hello', almost like a question. Staring at the female for a moment or so, just the sight of her dark skin and the pointed ears gave away the fact that she was of the dark elf race. Keeping silent the entire time she stood before him, the young male slowly raised a single hand up to her and waved with barely any strength left in his limbs. "Hello miss. Do you require something..?" His voice low, almost as though it were a whisper; but just loud enough for her to hear him. If she was planning on attacking him, the best that Ryosuke was going to either be able to do was defend himself with his dark energy once again if not he would have no choice but to clear the entire area with his true form as he did with the foolish goblins. http://i.imgur.com/cM56pt4.png Standing right at the tree the entire time with his eyes closed and his arms crossed. Yukito had only opened up his left eye that gave off it's usual reddish glow when Mirage had tapped him upon the nose. Arching a brow towards her at the fact that she had done such a thing to him, he questioned the fact of how she spoke of the fact that Yukito had worried too much. It was somewhat his job to worry for her safety for being her bodyguard and all, and with the fact that the area the two of them were in wasn't their own territory; it made him worry all the more since the race that lived around here were the Pegasus. Horses that could fly high above the clouds and swoop down like they were some sort of eagle that was trying to catch their prey. Although the Gorganian race was much more powerful and could nearly easily defend themselves against any race; especially both himself and Mirage, it wasn't really an intention to forcibly attack any of the other races, yet. Nodding at the fact that Mirage stated that the two of them would run if they had sent a squad to try and attack them. Yukito had lowered his arms to his sides and sighed with a bit of relief that although they were in a different territory, Mirage was still aware enough that danger was still a big issue in the end. Making his way over towards the water, he stared up towards the open sky to make sure that the area around where the two Gorganians were standing was still safe for the time being. The only thing that had really caught his attention to make him turn his head over his shoulder was when Mirage spoke of being ashamed for their race's natural eye color. "Although our eye color is different compared to every other being Miss Mirage. You should not feel ashamed for it, we are different although we still are known to be the more advanced race of all." He spoke with a low tone of voice before returning his gaze towards the open sky. |
Startled by the girl's sudden movement, Echidna coiled back into the flowers, opening her mouth and releasing a hiss. While she was threatened by this pegasus (she guessed), Echidna slowly realized how ridiculous she was acting. If this girl posed any real threat she could quickly change into her real form to protect herself. With this rationalization, she relaxed. Her tight position loosened and, in a swift decision, she changed into her human form and slowly raised her hands above her head to show that she meant no harm. Looking into the pegasus's eyes, Echidna gave a weary smile. She wasn't accustomed to interacting with others and wasn't quite sure where to go from here. However, she forced herself to give reassurance to the girl.
"It's ok, it's ok. I was just curious." she said in her low, gruff voice. Abha was exhausted by the time that the rest of the skeletons had been demolished. Fae swiped sweat off faer brow and bent over, clasping faer legs as fae drew in deep breaths. After a few moments, Abha straightened faer back and looked around. Fae saw a man approaching faer and grinned at the minotaur, putting on a friendly posture. However, as the minotaur spoke, Abha felt faer breath start to build up. Abha usually kept to faerself in the small fishing village. The few people that were familiar with Abha consistently used faer correct pronouns. Consequently, Abha hadn't experienced a person allude to any other sex, whether on purpose or not. Fae was caught off guard and as the minotaur stretched a hand out in greeting, the cyclops hesitated. However, acting on impulse, Abha quickly grabbed Alistair's hand and shook it. "My name's Abha." fae said, smiling gently. "I was glad to help... the villagers are kind to me. I like to help in any way possible." the cyclops finished, releasing Alistair's hand simultaneously. |
