Easter Plans
Who's got plans for Easter?! [insane]
When I was younger it was very much Church-based celebrations. Even younger and it was finding eggs and candy and getting an Easter basket filled with goodies. [eager] Now, as an adult, it's pretty lame. [lol] But this year, I wanted to do something special for it because I like reasons to do things for. (Watt?) So I'm preparing an Easter feast! \ o / For breakfast I'm planning on making either this or this. And for lunch/dinner, I'm making this rack of lamb along with this Italian Easter bread. I also decided to get one of those Jello Jiggler kits, but instead of just Jello, I'm going to make them Jello shots. [ninja] http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51XQd1ZzfoL.jpg Maybe I'll think up some other stuff to do that's not just food. [lol] But what about you guys? Any grand plans? Or is it just going to be another day? |
I'll be getting a big basket of candies and non-edible gifts, and that's it. [lol]
|
[lol]! I decided to get a decent-sized chocolate bunny for the heck of it!
Along with some of those Reeses eggs. [ninja][drool] |
Cookies n' Cream bunny. Have you seen one? Have you tried one?
|
Oooh yummy lambness!
I wasn't planing on doing anything. We might go out to eat. |
I'm glad we don't go out to eat on Easter. We do that a lot anyway, so I would flip tables if we did for a holiday.
|
I get to go to a Bunny party! I'm not sure what that means...except I'll get to participate in a bunny ear decorating contest =^^=

Those quinoa spinach omelette bites look goood! [eager]
Last year we didn't do anything, but this year I felt like at least coloring eggs, so I got stuff for that. Since we have no family nearby holidays seem more.. important? Maybe it's just with nobody nagging me to do things it makes me want to do them. Hee The lady at the checkout this morning gave me some of those jello Easter mold thingers too. Mine are eggs with letters that spell out H A P P Y E A S T E R. Maybe I will make some and see what horrible words I can create instead. xD Need to actually buy jello first tho. [ninja] |
@Rochiel: Dress like bunnies? [bunny]
Once I colored eggs. My mom didn't let us do things with paint often because it was messy. |
Mouth is watering [drool]
Easter's another day for me [=3] |
Why? All the candy talk? [:P]

Eating out would be nice! I might do that on Saturday. Supposedly some new Italian/steakhouse just opened up around here somewheres. Quote:

And that could be it! Last year I was.... ah, preparing to move! That would definitely explain the lack of doing anything. [lol] I really like the idea of decorating eggs, but I'm not a big boiled-egg eater and, I don't know what else to do with them so, I usually don't end up decorating eggs. Maybe if it was more of a party thing, like with friends and stuff, I would. Then they could eat my eggs. [lol] Lmao! At least you have the potential to make some kind of game out of that! Quote:

Make both [eager]

It's a big 3D bunny, and it is absolutely not hollow. It is one of the most amazing things I have ever eaten.
|
Stay at home with my partner and baby, nom lots of chocolate.
That's.. Well.. That's about all really..? Gonna have to work it all off... xD |
@Zomb: Ohh noo! XDDD Maybe I will... they probably stay well in the fridge for a bit. [ninja]
@Ama: Omg! [shock] Take pictures, mehbeh? ---------- Post added 04-18-2014 at 11:37 PM ---------- @HC: That sounds nice! [cool] Do you go and get the discounted chocolate and stuff the day afterwards? |
You could send some to me [sosad]
|
Here's one. The one I got last year had way more cookie in it, though.
|
@Zomb: I could! ;D But I will nom them all on the way to the post office. [ninja]
@Ama: Wow! I couldn't get through all that! [rofl] How long does it take you to eat it all? |
I don't remember, but it did take several days. Maybe over a week or so.
Oh, and I like your avvie, HC-Gal! |
Not fair! [gonk]

Ikuto Akihiko Hasegawa: Those Quinoa Spinach Omelette Bites look delicious (and gluten free). Let us know how yours turn out. :)
My Easter plans involve: singing in 3 services in the choir (one tonight, 2 on Sunday morning). Sunday: maybe lunch with friends, relaxing a bit, then hanging out with my boyfriend's family for dinner. |
Hunt Iku down and show up—SURPRISE!
|
Shhhh! You'll spoil it [twisted]
