Strange Gifts
 

One year I got 2 water guns from a customer.
I haven't really gotten anything strange yet this year.
I guess the strange one last year was a bottle of soy sauce from my brother's girlfriend, but it was cool because it was Hello Kitty.

*ponders* hmm not really. Then again I'm kinda strange so maybe they're just normal for me.

Hmm, not really.
I got a mini teranium with plastic grass and animals for my desk. That was about the strangest thing I guess.

I didn't get much at all so there wasn't anything weird

The weirdest gift I ever received was knitting needles and yarn.
I think it was weird because I was like 5, and I had no interest in knitting.

One year at the in laws party white elephant game I got the AS SEEN ON TV make bake potatoes in the microwave thing o. O I was wth this won't work but I actually love it it works wonderful

This year hmmm I didn't get much, cards, lottery tickets, CASH, Amazon gift cards, Walmart gift cards, Pet Smart and Pet Co gift cards, (and I may have another gift coming), oh and perfume .......... Odd gift well I bought my turtles some Pet Smart treats etc. on their website and it had a $5 gift card in the box GOOD OFF OF MY PURCHASE OF CAT/DOG STUFF and a grooming center coupon o. O ummm TURTLES?????? CAN'T WAIT TO GET MY WATER TURTLES SOME RAWHIDES AND CATNIP AND GET THEM GROOMED LMAO Yeah ummm I don't have cat/dog so that will be my odd gift of the season lol unless that (gift coming? maybe?) turns out odd last year from this set of people the gift was a giant Bat Man head to color with markers and stuff so yeah let's see if they bring odd gifts later today lol

oh not just this year gifts? weirdest gift i've gotten.. uhhh... hmmmm.. idk my family is usually pretty thoughtful with their gifts. i suppose the tool set My step dad in law got me last year. Most of the tool set was useless to me cause i don't need the very specialized tools in it, and he got in for me because if he got multiple sets he got a huge discount. same with the tablet he got me that died in a month cause it was crap.

Just thought of another odd gift that I got one year.
Miscreant still laughs when he looks at them, my Aunt got me a pair of earrings that could be used as fishing tackle.
All you would need to do was attach them to some fishing line.

Stun gun rings? I am interested to know...

Not really. I guess some people would find my box of adult coloring stuff strange. But I don't. Oh and I got the hockey jersey I wanted. Some people might find a girl wanting that strange.

I don't know if this is considered an odd gift...

I was riding the Metrobus on Christmas Eve, then a guy came on the bus with a box of makeup. He handed the box to me and I picked out a nail polish for my great aunt. He then handed me a few other random makeup items plus some gloves. That was nice of him. [:D] I offered him an unopened bottle of water but he refused it. Oh well, that was a nice delight this Christmas season. [heart]

i don't really see any of these gifts as strange. xD though it is strange to have a random stranger come up and offer you makeup xD but the gift itself isn't strange. and who doesn't love coloring books? xD

Fishing lure earrings is always a little odd. Although I've bought earrings to be used in fishing lures before XD

i think that fishing lure earrings sounds rather awesome. xD not like i.. didn't just have the character in my story use her anchor shapped earrings as a fish hoook....

I bought myself the DLC season pass for FF XV this year. [sweat]

the seasons pass? you have to pay for a subscription to the new ff?

I need to buy that for myself too. I was going to wait until I beat the game first though.

Nope. It's basically all the upcoming DLC in one convenient package. Saves me from having to get it all piecemeal. Plus season pass users get better stuff in the Holiday Pack.

I ended up buying it last week, and beat the game on Christmas. I'm doing another playthrough in New Game+ mode.

I was pregnant and 18 years old and my mother-in-law gave me a Playdoh Fuzzy Pumper Barbershop...
It really wasn't as fun to play with as the commercials made it look....and at that age, who wants playdoh under their fingernails? Lol!
