There's lots of easter songs in the catholic religion
but a lot of them are slow a dreary
like the "eagles wings" song...

True, there probably are... I've never been to a Catholic church at easter, even though I went to a Catholic high school for my senior year.

The only easter related song I can think of is that one about Hot cross buns, one a penny two a penny hot cross buns.

Haha, I was singing that at work the other day, because everyone was buying them.

Hehehe. That's amusing, but now i regret not having bought any hot cross buns. :( boo.

wow, I actually can't think of any actual easter songs. well except for from the original peter cotton tail movie, but I can't think of the name of the songs

Yeah, I believe all the Easter Songs are religious ones.

We could always sing little bunny foo foo hopping through the forest.

We sang "And Can It Be" at church on Sunday and it's been stuck in my head since then, which I am happy about!

I think my church always sings "Here I Am Lord," but that's more because it's the congregation's particular favorite. :lol:

Well the song I mentioned is about Jesus's death and resurrection so I think it's particularly appropriate for the holiday :)
