There's this nifty thing called the Teal Cat Project, and it was basically created for Hummy (with me in mind [;)] )! Maria's Life - Music Education.
I work in a school that has almost 60% free and reduced lunch students. We don't not have enough "poor" children however to warrant the Title "Title 1 School" which would give us extra funding. Because of this I have a lot of students who can't afford things and I get little to no funding to help them out. My students love music. In an attempt to add instruments to my classroom I currently have a project up on a site called Donorschoose.org. You can track the progress here: http://www.donorschoose.org/project/...cherid_2005780 I've raised almost 1400 dollars so far and need to raise 900 more! We have 19 days to do it! :) Track the progress and wish us luck :D |
