Both poetry and prose have the power to conjure images in the mind. As vivid as these images can be, what one person "sees" is often quite different than the next person.

For this contest, you will be provided with a short quote in a theme that relates to Valentine's Day & must search the internet for an image that you feel perfectly fits the words. There will be a new quote posted each day at 9PM AZ Time*, for a total of 7 quotes. In order to accommodate different perceptions, I will be choosing winners for three categories per quote: Sweetest/Most Inspiring, Most Humorous, and Darkest.

2. Search the internet for the perfect image to match the quote.
3. Post the Entry Form, with a link to your image, in this thread.

Prizes:

For each quote:
Top pick, each category* ~ 3k
Runner up, each category ~ 1.5k

Overall Sweetest/Most Inspiring, Most Humorous and Darkest** ~ 5k

** To help clarify, "dark" will include entries that are cynical, commiserating, bitter. "Humorous" can include some snark/sarcasm or be just plain silly. "Sweet" entries will exude optimism or joy.
I'm realizing now that there is another type of reallydarngood entry that doesn't necessarily fit in those confines, and will be giving out honorable mentions for those.

Additionally, folks who enter on multiple days may receive a participation prize.

*If there are not enough entries for a given category, that prize won't be awarded.

Things to Note:

• You may only enter once per quote.
• You may only use one account to enter (mule or main, but not both).
• You must keep your images PG-13, or "Safe for Work."
• The first quote will be up from whatever time the event starts on Thursday until Friday at 9PM, to give folks a little extra time to get situated.
• The last quote will be up until the event forum closes. Feel free to enter past the 9PM deadline, as long as you can still post in here. ;)
