Avatar Contest!

Hey everyone and welcome to Menewsha's Phoenix Jubilee! Isn't it exciting? Well to join in with the celebration, Cami and myself are holding two wonderful contests. I will be holding an avatar contest in which I want you to dress up as flowery and summery as you possibly can. There are 3 categories:

The Flower Category

This category requires you to dress up with a flower incorporated somewhere in your avi (on your head, in your shoes, on your top, anywhere!)

The Spring/Summer Themed Category

This speaks for itself really but I want you to look as bright and summery as you can! And finally,

The MAC Flower Imitation Category

This category requires you to use the Menewsha Avatar Creator (which can be found here). For it, I want you to find a picture of any flower or plant and some how recreate this in your avi (make your avatar look as much like it as possible).

(Please note that you must use your own inventory for the first two categories).

Art Contest!

And I'm hosting the art contest, where you get to show off your artistic skills! There are also 3 categories:

Flower Fancy

For this category, you get to practice your nature drawing skills. The focus of your picture must be flowers. It can be a single flower, a bouquet of flowers, a field of flowers, flowers falling from a tree, flowers growing up a house, etc. Doesn't have to be a currently known variety of flower.

Spring/Summer

This is the most general category. It can be anything at all, as long as it relates to spring or summer – gardening, beach parties, emerging animals, spring flings and fashions, etc.

Flower Fantasy

For this category you get to explore the world of fantasy, myth, and legend. But make sure it’s relevant to the event at hand. This includes such flower related fantasies as sprites and fairies, and, of course, images from the legend about the beginning of the phoenix orchid.

Remember, all art must be your original creation – no tracing, and keep references to other pictures minimal. And have fun!

Rules!

Follow Menewsha's Rules and the Terms of Service.

Respect everyone's entries, including your own.

Do not steal anyone else's work. All entries must be your own.

Keep all images PG13.

Entries must follow all requirements and fit the category they're entered in.

Use the entry form.

Entries must be submitted by the 21st. Don't wait until the last minute.

Only one entry per category.

Please do not complain if you don't win. The judges will be fair but, of course, tastes differ. Be understanding.

Breaking any of these rules will disqualify you.
