GrannyJ's Winter Nights Cozy Tea Shop
Hello everybody!
Here is our little tea shop for the Winter event! I hope you all come around and spend a bit of time by the fire. I'm sure there will be some treats around to have with your tea! |
*drinks some blood orange chocolate red tea*
Hello, GrannyJ! :D |
yay!
I have nice nommy vanilla chai tea. It's very good and perfect for a chilly winter night ^^ |
I have a bit of Winter Spice tea.
It's very nice on a chilly night! |
mmhmm. I'm bringing some of my tea over to my boyfriend's tomorrow so I can have some for Christmas. ^^
Tea is a wonderful thing on Christmas morning!
Yeah, and I think I'm getting cocoa. Mike said something about cocoa :)
I have not had a nice cup of cocoa in quite awhile!
Hello, Granny! You look very festive!
On a cold day I usually prefer hot, flavoured coffee with eggnog mixed in.
Though, maybe I should try the gingerbread tea I have instead since it's the festive season... Couldn't hurt. |
mmm I'm not much of a coffee person, but I did enjoy the holiday flavours my school had ^^
I wasn't much of a coffee person either till recently. Found it quite bitter when I was younger.
When I was a pre-teen the only tea I liked was Red Rose black tea, but even that was bitter. Always had to sweeten it with milk and sugar almost to the point of not tasting the tea anymore... :P |
hey everyone... i would love a cup of tea right now. has anyone ever mixed a pinch of coffee in their tea? it was a tasty experience for me :D
I've done the opposite actually. Tea in coffee. Didn't turn out so well... Even with the tea being a favourite flavour. French vanilla.
mine was regular tea with a little bit more milk then usual and i just tried out by adding a pinch of coffee. now i do it on purpose :D
I should try that one time. I've tried a pinch of coffee on top of eggnog and that's not bad either. Kind of have to like eggnog, though. I know some people don't...
Even on top of soy milk it's not bad... But again, it's one of those things one has to like first. :P |
I drink tea plain a lot of the time. ^^"
I usually need a sweetener of some kind... Honey works quite well for some teas as does raw sugar. For black teas it's nice to have a bit of milk in it. I've been known to put whipped cream on top of tea...
cream makes me think of Cappuccino :D yumz
Now that you mentioned that... Heh... I'm almost tempted to make one now... However, it's way too late for that...
Maybe tomorrow I'll make one. Though, by then this craving would have subsided. |
that craving only goes to sleep for a while but we cant escape it :D i love a rim filled mug of Cappuccino :)
Nope... It's nearly impossible to ignore very bad cravings.
I love mine filled to the rim as well. All that milky foam. So good! Especially sprinkled with something. I like to use cinnamon and sometimes chocolate sprinkles when I make them. I've also been using ice-cream. Just a scoop in the mug and let it sit to soften up before brewing the coffee. Once brewed, pour coffee into mug and stir. The foam holds longer than frothed milk. |
gonna have to try the ice cream :D
I miss ice cream… ㅠㅠ
Mmm...ice cream. [drool] Now I want some ice cream. Or something chocolate.
