RULES:

Please be sure to read and follow ALL the rules!

First and foremost, make sure you follow the Site Rules.
Be respectful! Constructive criticism is fine if it's asked for, but please don't be rude to other users.
You can only enter once in each of the categories, and you may not enter on a mule account or through a charity account.
Please be sure to use the entry form when you post your entry. Failure to post the form will result in your avatar not being entered into the contest.
DAC entrants will be accepted, but try to use your own items.
Please be sure to save your entry to an outside image host like imageshack or imgur. What I see is what I'll judge, so be sure that the avatar you enter is saved and won't change or the link breaks.
Once your entry is on the front page you can not change it, so make sure you like your entry before you submit.
Entries must be submitted by the end of the event. Winners will be announced in the The Meneverse forum after the event ends.
As the person running this contest, I can add and change rules as needed.

PRIZES:
Prizes are as follows:
First place: 8,000 gold!
Second place: 6,000 gold!
Third place: 4,000 gold

Deck Your Hall!
The theme for this FOWN is Home for the Holidays, so I want you to show me how you "deck your halls"!
That means I want to see you decorate a room in your house for the holiday, whichever holiday it is that you celebrate this time of year.

Requirements:
*Your entry should have no avatar, and be only a background.
*You can choose any room you like to decorate; e.g. living room, kitchen, secret laboratory, torture chamber, and so on.
*The decorations have to clearly represent a REAL holiday or event people celebrate; Christmas, Yule, Hanukkah, the Solstice, and so on, even New Year's Eve as the event goes that long.

*Tip: Work with what you know and stand out from the crowd!

We're Going Wassailing! A Group Contest!
Since there has been some talk of music *cough*lookup*cough*, let's talk about caroling.
Caroling was used back in the day to share oral traditions through the generations.
I want you to make a group of carolers! You can look any way you like, perhaps a jazz band singing soulful blues, a hair band looking to pep up the masses, or maybe even a Menewshan band rocking out on their vuvuzelas. The opportunities are quite endless given all the genres of music out there.

*Your group should consist of 2-4 users.

FOWN Throwback!!
This time of year is great for reminiscing of better times, so I got to thinking of the avatar contests of old.
We're gonna bring it back to a simpler time with this last contest and go straight up colors contest. See? I told you it was contests of old!

I haven't looked I usually wait until the 1first event item comes out so that I don't start purchasing items because then I wind up with duplicated seevin triplicates and then don't get all the things I want. So I usually just buy for others off the get go
