Welcome!


Hello all, I have not been on Mene in quite sometime.
I used to be quite the regular when this site came about.

Anyways, it is nearing Christmas and I love art and giving.

I also love my girlfriend of almost 9 months and would love nothing more than to get
some of these rare items back in circulation for everyone.

Therefore I am holding an art contest to be ran until December 14th.



The Contest


-I would like a couple pic based off our appearance in real life.

-Ultimately I would like to get the winner's art printed and framed for her for Christmas.
-I can take care of the printing and framing I just need some good submissions!

-Any style is okay but realism and highly detailed pieces are most likely going to be my
favorite.

We don't take a lot of pictures so coming up with these references was hard!
She has BIG natural hair which used to be blonde but now it's her natural brown.

I'll try to add more references but for now that's what there is!



Prizes


1st: First two picks and any 4 items from my inventory
2nd: Third pick and any 3 items from my inventory
3rd: Fourth pick and any 2 items form my inventory
Bonus: Random picks from inventory may be awarded for other good submissions.

*1st place takes their pick from my inventory, then they also get second pick. After 1st place picks two items, 2nd place picks their first item followed by 3rd place. After the 3rd place winner makes their first pick then 1st place will make their third pick. Essentially everyone will take turns picking and everyone can pretty much get what they want.

Thanks for posting. I hope there will be many entries. I could run the contest up until the 22nd if need-be but no later as this is going to be a gift.

I don't mind a hefty prize pool, I got a lot of joy out of Menewsha when I was younger but don't have time for it. I would like some help assembling prizes :)

So right now I'm doing a photo manipulations to try and get a nice portrait look of you both. That way I'll have something to work from and it'll be a bit easier. It's going to be something like this, only I think I need to scale her head size down a bit more.

Do you have a preference in medium? (Traditional or Digital) Also do you want me to make her hair blonde like it was then or brown like it is now?

That is very neat, I like that a lot.

As for a medium it can really be up to you. I know both have potential to look very nice.

You have to put this ring on her hand, I pick on her all the time because how gaudy it looks hahaha

that ring is gaudy? haha...my tastes are really gaudy then because that seems normal to me. You should see my rings! XD

I don't know when I'll be able to start on this. it makes me sad to lurk in here and not have time yet to start.
