And welcome to Captain Howdy and Inc’est la Vie’s quest thread! So get a sitter for the kids, make sure the stove is off, check the iron, wait for the car to warm up, briefly ponder the futility of life, stop on by, come on in, leave your inhibitions at the door and have fun! [insane] This thread will be used to organize and keep track of all the lovely pixels I crave. They’re like digital heroin, they is. I want to inject them straight into my heart cause items make me happy. “Captain Howdy,” you may ask, “what sort of sad existence do you lead where the only joy you take from life is spending your free time on a website that you are embarrassingly too old for?” And I would courteously reply, “What the hell is it to you?!” … Thereafter there will be an awkward pause in which both of us are unsure as how to proceed. To any who are unsure of the origins of my name, I would suggest going out and either buying or renting the cinematic horror classic the Exorcist. The film is so good, it’s like unicorns, rainbows and teddy bears for the senses. I was born in a log cabin on the frozen tundras of Papua New Guinea. My mother was a cheese maker and nuclear enviormentalist. My father was a professional German. Jeremiah was a bullfrog, was a good friend of mine. At the tender age of seven I developed stigmata. The Lord had given me the ability to heal, and my hair always smelled like tropical punch Kool-Aid. I abused my powers though. I'd make terminally ill patients dance for me before i'd cure them. In His wisdom, the Lord smote my ass good. I now wander the Earth, in search of a new way. And after all these years I still cry while sitting on the toilet.
