@Misa: Ya I remember when 100k was a ton and even 5k could get you a pretty chibi, but that was years ago.
The auctions is basically the only place you can get really nice art on Gaia and it costs more than an arm and a leg! D:

I loved the hell out of my mini's and AFK hat but the rest where just collected just because....and the origonal jacked up items where pretty cool....but after that halloween events started to suck fast....the last couple where the worst...I didn't even bother with this years.

Talking about Gaia I see.
I recently got "into" it just because I found out that the 22 November 07 letters I bought were finally worth enough to sell and make a profit, so I sold most of them and now have the kiki kitty I have been wanting for years. It came out when I had only about 3k and it was hard for me to get gold quickly plus its price kept on rising rapidly. I remember it was around 15k within the first two weeks of being released.
Anyways, now that I have it I don't care for any of the new Gaia items despite some of them being somewhat appealing.

I like going on Gaia to browse at the auctions and art threads because some of the art there is to die for (and you also die paying for it).

Anyways, I was banned four times because "my usage pattern matched the usage pattern of bots". That isn't even proof that a person is a bot. D:

Hatter they old items here are expensive this is true, but at least the prices have been fairly around the same place for awhile, and the admins try and make ways for those who dont have them to get them. Gaia is not like this....do you know how many halos lay forgotten in banned accounts?

Cora; Exactly! That's another reason why I love this site. They are just so friendly & try to help out. As well as even though they are through the roof expensive, if you work hard enough you actually can obtain them. Haha it'll just take forever, but you can. Ones on gaia. HAHA yeah right, that aint gonna ever happen. Like if someone was to join today on Mene, THEY do have a chance of getting some of the high priced items. On gaia, that's like...just a flat out no.

unfortunately gaia is dull of scamers and theives....or selfish people. Those who aren't, like ourselves, get fed up and leave. This is why inflation is through the roof....that and the fact that gaia makes absolutely no effort to take money out of the system....the more money put into a system the more unbalanced the system becomes. Inflation sky rocketed here when the games where first introduced but with the introduction of the gold cap and with a few cleaver tactics from the mods money is also coming out of the system now so inflation evened itself out.

Yeah. Basically Gaia is like...trashed. Mene learned from Gaia's mistakes. haha

I think my favorite part of mene is that the mods and admins are so human and nice ^.^

I often talk to them....in fact two of them are on my friendslist. In fact......yup this is rose's thread lol, I forgot weither I was in ry or rose's thread.

I dunno the fact that they are so friendly makes you not afraid to go to them if you have a problem, they are very willing to help you with the problem. In fact I had my mule banned once, though they never did figure out what caused the ban it claimed it was e-mail related *shrugs*

Jelly and flink where totally awsome in helping me sort things out.

I don't pay attention to who's a mod & who isn't. lol. I treat everyone equal.
