Only 1k. :) Which is why I got them. Good investment in the future, if/when they retire. xD
Gosh, 27k?! I'm always too lazy to spend that much in the events because they don't have the shopping basket. xD |
Want me to give you 1k?
lol Yeah, it took awhile. I liked a lot of the items, though, and I knew that they'd be a lot more expensive once they went in the shops. If I end up deciding that I really dont think i'll use them, then I can just sell them back for the same price I paid, or I can sell them to people in my exchange. |
No, of course not. :o It was a gift.
Yeah, some of the items were nice... But no matter how nice they are, I can't get over my lazyness. xD Nevermind. I just buy what I really like. |
Fiiiine! :illgetu:
Thank you for the gifty, then. o3o Yeah, it sure would be nice if the event store could have carts. :'( lol I tend to get anything I think I might use, since I do lots of layers and some odd themes. Haha |
@ Rose : Stressed, but surviving, sorta. ^^;; One more week and I'm free. >.<;;
And aww! :'< Good luck pushing them away then..? xDD;; <3<3 |
@Suo ~ Your welcome. xDD
@Ry ~ Aww. Well a week isn't long! Just think positive. :ninja: So far its working. :) --- :gonk: I've just realised i've only got.... 4 weeks to drop 2 dress sizes. Crap. >.> *runs to the gym* >| |
Two dress sizes?
That's a lot of work.... Surgery may be called for... |
@ jean - nah, it's do-able. I've done it before. Xd
just involves going to the gym alot and only eating around 400 calories a day. Lol. |
Why do you need to drop in size?
My friends mother needs to do the same thing because she has a friend's wedding that she is attending, but the friend got a size too small of a bridesmade dress for her. lol Hmm. Do you do crunches at all? I do them every now and then when I think my stomach is getting a little out of shape (I really should be keeping it up daily or every few days to stay well toned, but it hurts on hardwood floor). They work wonders if you really do keep up with them and have a good routine and if you push yourself. I was in a weight training class, and he's make us do crazy lots of crunches to work the core, and it makes you really sore in the beginning, but if you keep up with them, then it gets a lot easier and you increase more and more each week and it is great at toning your stomach. :] If you dont already have your own ones, then feel free to ask if you'd be interested in the ones that I do. ^^ I really need to get a yoga mat or something so that I can do them in the house. |
I'm going to a conference in april... And the dress I bought, with the intentions of wearing it there is 2 dress sizes too small because I had intended to diet from January. LOL. My will power has failed over the last few months. xD
No, not really I find doing them uncomfortable as I dont have a proper mat, either. Though when I go to the gym I use the tummy crunch machine. xD That always KILLS. lol. |
I don't do gyms. I try not to sweat at all.
But at least I went for a walk today... |
*drops in*
I think the fastest way to lose weight (as healthily as can be done, that is) is to do cardio. Running, etc. Although because you want to drop in dress sizes it seems like a big deal to lose the stomach area first, crunches actually don't make you lose weight in that area, it just makes it tighter which is enough for one dress size usually, but I don't think it's enough for two. The going to the gym and eating less seems about right. =P But crunches or other muscle-building stuff, at least at first, won't help from what I've seen. Is it beginning of April or near the end, out of curiosity, the conference? O: |
I've been told by other people that crunches sometimes add the muscle up but doesn't always take care of that fat.
I guess I'm not really a good person to ask about this, though. :x I have a fast metabolism. Crunches work good for me, but thats because I dont have excess body fat on my stomach. I do crunches to tone up. I still always suggest them, though. They really do work well, and I think they do remove fat, too. |
Hey Suona!
Well I think it's a whole different issue with people with fast metabolism. My sister's like that too. She works out to get toned, and is trying to put on some weight. But when you're trying to LOSE weight, adding muscle doesn't help, usually. =P Like you said though, if there is no excess fat then crunches are great. |
Yeah...I always wish I could help and give suggestions, but I can't quite relate in the same way or suggest the right stuff. :x
Different body types need different approaches. |
Hey you. Miss me? :'D
|
Wow 0.o
you seem so close Rosie. Good Luck! |
*prods at Rose's thread*
Where be my Rosie? :'< <3<3 |
Sorry guys! Things got a tad hectic at work... One of my staff members were arrested plus some other stuff. xD I didn't get time to come online!
How are you alll? I'm slightly disheartened to find out someone I thought was a friend, still holds a grudge against me for something that happened one the GBA. Nevermind. I guess we can't have it all, hmm? |
one of your staff was arrested o.0
and aww I'm sorry *huggles* |
Oooo....Rose, you must have out-bid somebody and they were mad?
That's one of the reasons I don't care for auctions. I much prefer raffles, where everything is random. Then nobody can blame you if you win... |
@Cora - yeah he's being accused of filming a girl in the gyms changing room. Ehh. Everything is a little unsettled at work just now. XD
@ jean - that's right, it was alexi(I think that's the username) I burrowed some gold off a friend and bid last minute, like I always have done... Except a few people got up on their high horses. I guess the matter was only made worse by the fact that I'm staff, though I don't see how. As far as I'm concerned when it comes to getting the items I want, I'm just the same as everyone else. |
Unless the rules specifically forbid it, then I can't see where the problem is.
|
@Rosie- are you still in charge?
|
Eh. Thats why I dont bother with the GBA, really.
All I hear is everyone getting mad once its over. Someone doesn't get what they want, so they throw hissy fits. Obviously not all, but there are a good amount that do. I would just rather not be involved then chance winning and have a bunch of people speaking poorly of me. Poor sports get my goat sometimes. My best friend is a major poor sport, and it really is a damper when you're having fun playing a game and she gets all pissy about it. -_- |
