I just checked my email (lol) and noticed I had an email asking for feedback on the "sponsored projects" page. I've almost read through everything and like really...

I'm so angry hahahaha. Not because they brought this up, but because I was under the impression that for the past 3 months something was being done with the "online MAC" Not to mention by this point it hadn't been updated for over a year.

Now I'm reading that its just a possibility if we sponsor a project. -.-

I heart you roachi, and I like talking to Nivvy and Emma *the only ppl I really talk to on here anyway* But the big reason I still donate every month and still pop on even when I'm retardo busy irl and what not is to check to see if that MAC is up yet (I'm pretty sure I could harass you for ur email and what not to chat that way :P I'm so confident in myself eh). All I do on any site is make avatars, and strive for them. Hell the PoG I've been questing for was from a dream avi I made when I first started this site...

That's a good suggestion, and yeah I was thinking about it... but from what I can tell if I posted hey I feel that we were led on about the MAC I can just envision how many users/admin etc.. would jump on me for it and be all "we never promised you that" which is true they didn't but it would've been nice if they didn't make it seem like it was being worked on.

Oh well. I'm going to tell them how I feel about the charity thing though - I'm so against it its ridiculous lol.

@ Emma - Yeah I read your reply but it wasn't really a freak out - neither was Roachi or Nivvy's. I don't really care if they get a cash shop.. I'm more choked about being strung along for the MAC... and I hate the idea of giving away to a charity. Which no doubt I'll be flamed on... only like 3 others were against the charity whole heartedly lol.

I care whole heartedly because that means Menewsha has become money hungry like Gaia. And if it gets that way, I'll be leaving ASAP :/
I love Menewsha to death, but I highly doubt I'll stick around if the inflation gets even worse :/

And yeah - that does suck seeing as how it was "in the works" for so long - but I don't use it enough to say so XD;;

And I like the idea of giving to charity, as long as the items are appropriately priced and not outrageous just because it's a charity~

Ah yeah see... now I believe Gaia is money hungry for a different reason than Mene is - right now that is. From what I gather and whether or not it is true is that Mene is in the negatives each month and actually needs this money to stay afloat and pay their pixelist. Which word up - cool beans that the pixel artist is getting paid for their work and that the C.I's we purchase go towards that.

Inflation - doesn't bother me at all either. Actually nothing has really inflated in about 2 years now? Maybe a little more. The prices are in a stasis. Infact if anything the no inflation is kinda pissing me off since its harder to aquire items. Had inflation gone the way I wanted it too I would've probably been able to be 1/4 on my way to my v-day pendant instead of starting from scratch after my trade with Hatake. Was it worth it.. fuck yeah I'm not complaining about that, our economy does need a booster - and it needs people to return to the site and sell their shit at least if they're not planning on coming back so we can get these items back in circulation.

I doubt it'll be $1 - we could only hope but I think it'll be over 5 denero for a charity. Personally I'd rather donate to a charity myself and get the tax credit.

OMG!! seriously someone did that?!! should never accept random adder and also make sure only your friend who can see your picts and info. I grouped my friendlist so whenever I add picts or chat, those unwanted people or those whom I added for games app, wont be able to stalk me

Hahaha the funny thing is I was friends with this person irl for 2 years. I know exactly who did it and he admited it. Long story short we were friends, he tried to be something more, I started dating someone else, he would get pissy all the time when I didn't answer my phone whenever he txtd or called, after 2 years my bf was planning my bday party, this guy wasn't invited since my bf hates him, my ex friend found out, and sent me a bunch of threatening txts/emails and then tried hacking my shit. Luckily I had a feeling he'd try that so I ended up changing my email accounts and everything and the only thing he deleted was my maple story account. Which sucked but not the end of the world.

You could do that, or if you just have speakers you could let it play through them instead of wearing a headset?

Yeah - I can see having items to promote paying the pixelists in a way - but at the same time, it's kind of their problem if they lack funds and should find a way to do it themselves instead of turning to us to empty our pockets because one day, it's going to be abused :(

Actually - a LOT has inflated hun..
When I started in '08 the V-day 07 items were around 50-60k, and the crowns were 15-20k - so yeah, things have beyond inflated in the past couple of years if you've been on here regularly~
And new MCs, which were 250g a piece when they first came out, are now 1-2k a piece when they first come out~
And EIs, which used to start out as 100g a piece, are now starting out as a couple hundred if they can squeeze it and drive the prices up~

So in my opinion, inflation is ridiculous and completely unwarranted. It's unfair to buyers, it's unfair to questers, and it's a horrible cycle because we as sellers now sell higher to try and make up for the inflation of the bigger items so we can actually stand a chance at getting them.
