Well that is great. I am pretty happy for you. Sometimes things just feel right. :) Nah, that guy and I were not together for too long. Some things fell very short in our relationship. And it literally took me til yesterday to realize I do not like him as much as I was tricking myself into thinking. Because even after my relationship AFTER him ended, I still had feelings for him. But he parties all the time (typical university behaviour for this guy). He can be sweet, but I was being fooled by it all. He wasn't making much of an effort to be with me.

And this is going to sound REALLY CHEESY. But have you see that movie "He's Just Not That Into You"? Well after watching that, it made me realize a lot of things. If he wanted me badly enough, he would have made an effort. If a guy wants to be with a girl, he will make it happen. And that guy I was with didn't even try. Pretty much the same with the guy I was seeing in Idaho (my last boyfriend). Except my feelings for him were not as strong as the other guy, because I had known the other guy much longer.

Well to be honest it took us awhile to get here. He has had quite a dramatic year. Having to deal with many personal issues and i guess i came to him in a time where he hadn't quite sorted it all out yet. So we kinda got together, but then broke up, and then the second time - it's been a lot better for us, as we're both trying very hard to be good to each other. I guess we fell into the pattern of being a certain way for so long, that we forgot what it was like to be nice to your partner and not all snappy and grumpy and selfish lol. (As we both have had bad relationships in the past). It's nice to have an adult relationship with someone though, God i've wanted this for so long. Looking back i can't believe how immature and pathetic my ex's were. Not to mention how narrow minded i was too. It's definitly made me realize i can't have everything my own way lol. Because sometimes i can just be so damn stubborn and strong minded lol. I'm learning anyways, and we have good conversations. I hope that this grow's into something much more. :)

Ahh i see. I'm very sorry to hear that, because it really did sound so romantic and awesome. But your right, sometimes we put people on these pedestals, imagining them to be these great people, but in hindsight we're fooling ourselves. I did that with my first love, I don't know why but i always felt we were meant to be. But i think i was in love with the 12 year old him. When i met up with him several years later, thinking this was going to be some whirlwind romance. I was really wrong. He was nothing like that boy i use to know. It took some time for me to realize, that he was using me and it was never gonna be how i imagined it to be.

But i totally understand hun. You hold onto those values and thoughts. Because you do deserve someone that is goin to adore you and put in the effort. And you don't deserve anything less then that! I know i've been through some crap relationships. But i never gave up hope that someone wonderful would come along and change it all for me. I think i found him now, i hope i'm right. :)

Yep i have. And i know what you mean lol. The guy i was dating before i met Rob was the same. He would declare he loved me and wanted to be with me etc. But he never made the effort lol. Like he'd think it would be okay to not text or talk to me for 3 days and stuff like that. And he couldn't understand why i broke up with him. Your absolutely right. It's like what Rob said. If a guy loves a girl, he would do anything for that love. Betray his own best friend if it meant having her. So yeah, if you didn't' feel like he wanted you that much, then you were right to walk away. It's a pet peeve of mine, when people hold onto others just for the sake of not hurting them, or just having them around, having a gf/bf etc. It's not fair. Because that person deserves to have happiness, and have someone love them truly.

Yeah, i know Nivvy and i have permission from juru to borrow each other raffle items. But that's only coz we're RL friends and know each others pws. But i know around the same time, there was a conversation about it, and how they didn't want people borrowing stuff.
