I'm just going to chill on the job front. I'm good at what I do, and apparently this other chick isn't as good as me, at the fine detailed stuff. Plus she used to restore dolls, but there's a chick who does that full time now - so my replacement can't cover as much stuff as me, or have a full time job, coz she won't be put onto dolls. I'm feeling confident it'll all work out.

I'm not gonna study until I pay my current loan off though, I figured with just the nursing fees alone, plus my current student loan - I'd owe back 35k… stuff that!

The only thing that worries me about police force, is I talked to dad about it years ago - and he said he didn't think I could do it. I don't know why, but that really has knocked my confidence… What does Dylan love about the job? It's gonna be hard seeing less of my family too, I do like getting time off when Joe has time off. He reckons if I became a cop though, he'd be a stay at home dad haha. I'll keep it in mind anyways, thanks for the tip about Manurewa/Manukau. What area is Dylan stationed to? My boss is an ex-cop, and he said I'd have a high chance of getting in at the moment.

Yeah that's true, studying is super expensive & the government is making it so much harder. I don't think i'd go back and study anything big like that. I think a lot of getting anywhere today is experience. Just starting off somewhere crappy and workin your way up from there. You just gotta get your foot in the door with a good company that has good incentives, where you can progress. Im gonna try and get into my companys management program next year. Even if i don't become a manager at the company - I hope to have that on my CV.

I think if you feel you can do it, then go for it. Don't listen to people telling you that you can't do it. If anything that should make you more determined. People try to hold you back from all sorts of shit, but you know what fark them. You do what you wanna do. I think you have the potential to be an awesome cop. As long as you really want it!!
Um i think he's in Rewa at the moment, i think that's where they need the most cops lol. I guess becoz theres something different every day lol. And he's a protect and serve kind of guy xD. I mean theres some real pride in being a cop. Its similar to when your a cadet standing or spick n span in your uniform. You feel good, confident, awesome, proud lol. I wanted to be a cop when i was younger, i prob would have if i wasn't overweight & unfit to be honest. I still get emails from police college saying they need more females cops. So yeah dude, you def have a high chance. You just gotta go n do all sorts of shit for it though. Like a swimming test, and defensive driving etc.

Yeah :S It's bad right? I was sitting down, figuring out expenses and stuff. We'd totally be able to afford a deposit if we didn't invite anyone to the wedding... Which ironically, I didn't want to do in the first place. I wanted to elope, but no dear Joe wanted to invite the whole world - and goodbye 12k lol. I'm slowly trying to build up a deposit though.

We move into this place on 20th October, and we have to pay rent for two places. How farken crazy is that!? So we'll be paying for a place we're not even living in anymore. Hate the way 21 days notice works like that... Bleeding yet more money out. I'm starting to compile a list of ways to save money, like baking your own bread, and buying ingredients in bulk etc. Wish we could grow our own veggies, that'd be so great.

Ohh yeah, people are really having to lift their game to study these days. No mucking around, and partying it up anymore since you have to maintain minimum grades. Which is fair enough. Oh well I wish you luck for getting onto the managers program, that sounds amazing! I have a friend who worked at McDs for a long time, and he transferred to Australia, and he earns big money over there as a manager. So it's definitely all about getting with the right company.

It's crazy, coz in my life I've done all of the tests to get into the Police Force lol. Like I did defensive driving (Sucks it expires) All the entrance tests for the Army are close to the Police Force, the swimming test is way easier than what you have to do, to get your lifeguard certification... It's just I've done all those things, at different times xD;; The only thing really holding me back now, is wondering if I can handle being away from Joe and baby, and working shifts again... Plus louts get on my nerves haha.
