"As I said, my self control falters, and if I lost that control, you wouldn't have much choice." He said as he stepped onto the bed, behind the curtain. "And Besides, Sue's convinced otherwise." He said with a small laugh. "Really though, get to sleep, tomorrow will be a long day."
"Don't order me around." He whined as he tugged at the angel's hair. "You must feel pretty out of place here... and Carol... she's lost to your kind, so why bother?" |
She gave the blanket a sharp jerk, spreading it over the day bed. Then with a surge of annoyance, she dropped it, turned on her heel and marched over to the bed. "Screw you," she said firmly before climbing under the blankets.
Diah pushed his hand away, his annoyance rising. "Carol is stronger than you know." |
"Don't tempt me." He said as he slid an arm around her waist and pulled her very close. "You're so stubborn."
"Oh believe me, I know. She'll soon have the power to wipe out an entire race. Which is part of what I'm worried about. Do you have any idea what sort of creature Jin is creating out of her?" He asked, his face centimeters away from Diah's. |
"But isn't it just one of my many charming qualities?" She joked, closing her eyes and smiling slightly. "This is much better than sleeping way over there all alone."
He turned his head away, putting a hand on the man's chest to keep him from getting any closer. "I have an idea. But I have no control over what he does with her now. I'm here to make sure none of the lowers hurt her, and to make sure she herself is not led astray." |
Jin's hand moved to her chest, "You're right, it is." He said as he cuddled her.
"You know... you and I could change the outcome and get her out of this mess entirely." |
She blushed and pushed his hand back down to her waist. "Stop."
"I don't conspire with demons, especially ones whose methods of fixing things involve forcing themselves on innocent women. You need to leave." |
"You don't give the commands here." He said, his hand moving willing down, much further than she intended.
"I don't -need- to do -anything-. And we could find other ways I'm sure. But if you don't want to be of use than what's the point of letting you stay here at all?" |
She grabbed his wrist and rolled over so she was facing him. "Stop," she said softly.
"Why don't you do whatever it is you're planning by yourself? I'm not here to meddle in demonic affairs, only to assure that those of the angels' are protected. However, if you harm Carol again, you will pay." |
Jin sighed, "You're no fun." he said, his arms returning to a comfortable place around her waist. "You shouldn't be so close to me." He mumbled, his eyes closing.
"It's easier to manage with someone she trusts. How buddy-buddy do you think she'll be with me?" He ruffled Diah's hair, "And you're terribly outnumbered here, I'd like to see you do something to stop me." |
She reached up, cupping his face. On pure impulse, she pressed her lips to his lightly. "But I want to be."
He slapped the demon's hand away. "Do you really think you could hold off me and Jin?" |
Jin's eyes widened and he pushed her away. "I think you should go back to the bay window."
"Good point... he's too strong." Elias whined. "But in anycase... You can't be entertained here, let's go have some fun." He said as he got up and offered a hand. |
Calmly, she placed her hand on his. "No...I won't do anything like that again, but I want to stay here." She smiled slightly. "I promise, I'll go directly to sleep. If you send me over there, I'll be up all night."
Diah gave him a disgusted look and laid down, his back to Elias. "Good night." |
"...Fine..." He grumbled, his eyes closing again.
"Oh come on, it'll be fun. You don't have to do anything against your nature." |
She moved closer to him and closed her eyes with a soft sigh. "Thank you...Night." And with that she drifted off.
"Good. Night." |
"Good night." He said unhappily.
"Aw, come on... they're right, angels never have any fun." He pouted, tugging at Diah. |
She wanted to ask what was wrong, but she was already half asleep, so she simply cuddled closer.
"We have drastically different versions of fun. Get off me!" He wrenched away, rolling completely over to glare at Elias, his hair falling in his face. "Why are you still here? I serve no purpose to you." |
zzz.zz.z.zz...z...z..z.
"How do you know? You dislike me right? Come and fight. It'll be good practice and a lot of fun I'm sure." He coaxed. |
"No. I'm not fighting you, I'm not sleeping with you, I'm not even going to talk to you from now onward." He rolled over and crossed his arms over his chest, squeezing his eyes shut.
|
"I wouldn't sleep with a pretty boy like you anyway, you aren't man enough to tweak my gay side." Elais leaned over and bit down on Diah's ear.
|
He grit his teeth and pushed the demon away but, true to his word, he kept silent.
|
"Aw, you can't hold that forever." He said as he tackled him, poking at hi and trying to annoy him however he could think to.
|
Anger flared up, but he closed his eyes and took a deep breath. Within a few moments, he shifted to his smaller form and crawled away.
|
"Ah ah..." He said as he scooped up the critter. "This is even more fun." He beamed, tugging the thing's cheeks.
|
Diah shook free, his wings fluttering as she hovered a few feet above Esial's head. "Will you leave? Now."
|
"But this is fun!" He said as he jumped, trying to catch Elais.
