Here I will post my latest works and ask for your thoughts about them. All I ask is that you please don't go overboard on the critisism. If you would like my thoughts on any of your work, I would be more than happy to give them as long as you PM them to me. Although this thread is mostly for me to post my work and the request of your thoughts and feelings about them, you are allowed to hangout and chat as you please. :)

Numero 1 ~ This was simply off the top of my head. I haven't really looked through it so mind any spelling mistakes.

Cuts and bruises may heal
But these scares you left me
They speak for themselves
And still you wonder why
I choose not to trust you
This won’t end so simply

Maybe a second chance is in order

There are things in life you just can’t rush

If there’s one thing I need most now
It’s for you to give me a little more time

I’ve been rushed and underestimated
But now I’m putting my foot down
I have changed for the better
You might think it’ll be easy to return
And maybe I’ll give you some hope
Still, I won’t let it go

You’ve broken down the walls
That I’ve built for a reason
It was my fault to give in
But it was yours to take for granted
Now you’re here begging
And I’m not giving in ( Not again )

Maybe a second chance is in order
But I don’t think I’m willing to give one
Even if you get on your knees
I’ll walk past without a second thought
