Ever felt like switching places with one of your OC's?

If this is a repeat. >_>;; Sorry.

LOL, yesterday I was with my best friend and I randomly was like, 'Wouldn't it be cool if you could actually be one of my characters.'
It all matters on how you make that person up, but I think that would be amazing to actually be them for a day.
Although they are completely unrealistic. 8D
How about you, what OC would you want to be?
Or would you rather be someone else from a TV show?

Excuse the randomness. >w<!

Sometimes, yes, but for the most part, I like being me. I do wish I could be a vampire like one of my OCs, it just seems fun.

kerryfox 08-08-2008 05:19 AM

It would be a fun idea till all of the stuff I put my OC's in to comes round...>>;; I am not allways the nicest to them. But the best of my millions of them would have to be Chava cause she is so happy go lucky, not to mention wears a wonderful assortment of garments I am rather found of.

In a funny way one of my friends randomly gave us nicknames using her OC's name.... IC chats on the IM allways made for a good kick.

Purdy Possum Pie 08-08-2008 05:22 AM

I would probley pick a tv character I don't have an OC. I am not sure who I would pick though. ::thinks::

Mekoness 08-08-2008 06:20 AM

I think that all the time... About my 'happy' characters that is. Happy is kind of a loose term with my characters though haha. By happy I mean relatively normal and without live threatening or sanity threatening drama all the time. ^^;

Meretricious Death 08-08-2008 06:26 AM

Yes, of course. My OCs are fire weilding spell casting youkais. xD

I'd like to try to be them but not live their whole life...

It would be disastrous if some kind of "switching souls" things happened to the two of us.

We belong to different eras!

:o

I think about this sometimes, as a few of my OCs have really detailed personalities and background. You get drawn into their world.

~~xXEl3KtRaXx~~ 08-10-2008 08:13 AM

Well my one favorite OC that I use almost in every RP i'm in I usually base around myself...apart from the appearance..I'd like to look like my OC

Beatitude 08-10-2008 08:21 AM

:3 I have a favorite OC; he's a guy and on that alone I would love to trade places with him, I have a really pathetic case of penis envy.

Even taking on all the baggage associated with him wouldn't be so bad, though. Him being my OC, I know him pretty intimately so I could definitely work it if we traded off!

Masquerade 08-10-2008 08:40 AM

My characters are all fairly "normal" folk, just put into more fantasy-style settings. I really like my warrior-woman, but I'm not sure I'd want to switch places with her. Maybe with my sharp-shooter - he's so laid back and mellow that it might be nice to feel that relaxed for a day. ;)

havenmasters 08-10-2008 09:16 AM

Yes, because my characters generally have a habit of resembling myself, only with minor physical changes and then the abilities, etc. that they have.

mystic kiwi 08-10-2008 09:27 AM

I rather like my OC Rose Marie. I like her personality a lot since she's a really strong character and she's pretty. She can get annoying though because she tends to be really stubborn and once she has her mind set on something, nothing can change her mind. She also has problems with admitting when she's wrong. She's a red head with green eyes and personally, I always wanted to have dark red hair and green eyes as well.

I also have a few characters I rather not be and some that are characters that people love to hate. I can't stand my character Akemi because he tends to be really annoying since he's overly cherry about things all the time. He's one of those characters I was debating on whether or not to kill off because I couldn't stand him that much.

Simatar 08-10-2008 09:36 AM

Psh... I become any character I play or write, c'mon. lol

but yes, I think it would be rather interesting to step into their lives for a while, so long as I could return to the life I have. There are a few things I know I couldn't take with me... *cough* Bright Eyes... *cough cough*

Wow... Rose Marie? I know someone named Rosemary. She's kinda like that too, though the appearance is completely different. but the personality.... well its down right spooky there...

tywulf 08-10-2008 09:40 AM

Mmh, nah. None of my characters have anything I truly want, and to be honest, I'm the one with the whole "life" thing going on, so I would rather not pass on it.

The Wandering Poet 08-10-2008 09:44 AM

Yes... because the only "character" I've ever written about was a kitten who's best friend is a wolf =)

Screw life, its a bore. I personally live in a town that this thing you call "life" doesn't happen. I swear you stand a jar of mayo on the back porch and watch as it grows mold... well, that would be more entertaining than anything going on around here. And with gas sky rocketing like it is, its a pain in the wallet to go anywhere there is something happening.

So, you go and enjoy your "life" *waves fingers mocking the use of quotation marks*

Ikonoklast 08-10-2008 11:15 AM

kazu is about twenty two right now, overly confident, promiscuous, addicted to cocaine. he steals cars, is part of an international dance company and can get into anyones pants if he plays his cars right. oh yeah, and he's male and six foot four.

it would be a weird switch, but i would love to be kazu, he's my prince. :)

Sagitar 08-10-2008 11:35 AM

well, I always base my characters on myself, so nope I never really feel like being one of them... xP because basically, I AM them.

Tangible Coral 08-10-2008 12:26 PM

Yes, but only one of my characters doesn't have anything wrong with him....

Emrysa 08-10-2008 12:46 PM

Who hasn't, there are a lot of people I can thing of who it would be fun to be.
Most of them would involve sword fights though and I imagine I'd get run through rather quickly.

Claudia 08-10-2008 12:50 PM

Always...I'd switch in a heatbeat. Course I guess it would be without the fiction/fantasy parts. Still good.

Ryko 08-10-2008 02:45 PM

I'd love to switch with one of my OC's or favorite characters for a day. Of course, if they were in my shoes though, they'd probably cause quite a mess for me to clean up when I get back, lol.

Lathrine 09-07-2008 08:06 PM

It would be awesome to switch places with one of my OCs for the day. D:

I think I'd want to be my OC Kirechk, because he's all wimpy and special and such. >: The only thing I would worry about was when all the horrid things I do to my OCs come around to get their revenge on me. O_o

Immortaleyes 09-07-2008 09:29 PM

I haven't ever really thought about it...but now that I do, I'd probably be one of my mutant inspired OC's. I can't really choose one of them because I like them all and think it would be cool to be any one of them.
:)
Though I guess if I had to pick it would have to be Karen Argoth, cause she's the most realistic one of them. She has a lot of problems...cause she's clumsy and because she increases the chances of bad luck and misfortune to people around her...its not really a power. Plus she's really fun and has the same sort of personality that I do. Plus, she's got a better fashion sense. :)

Dystopia 09-07-2008 09:41 PM

If I were to wake up one day as Hasuka, my sadistic nature would come back and bite me in the ass. >O>;
