It's cute! I like his expression. ^^ A suggestion would be to add some details to his shoes, or sometthing. Right now it kind of looks like he's wearing boot-slippers? XD But other than that, it's super cute~~~ <3

I think you have a good foundation.
Try shading to make your pieces 'pop' more? A little shading can go a long way IMO. |

I think the details for the first one could be some kind of closure like laces or buckles. Maybe some kind of collar on the shirt? I think maybe a little more attention to small details like that and some simple shading would really make your work fantastic! For example the shading on the axe is REALLY nicely done. It has shape and depth. Yet the parts of the drawings that lack shading seem a little flat. It is really cute, but you know that already >.<
