Gah, I feel like such a loser.. last night I dropped my wallet >.< everything was there. everything.
don't know where I dropped it, but it's gone...
I hope someone nice finds it and takes it to the police..
I don't know if I should froze my bank account, I did manage to transfer all of my money to my husbands account at home...

I just wish I don't have to get ALL new cards.. :(
that's going to be expensive..

so umm, never had this happen to me before, so I need some advice.
Do you think I should froze my account even though there is nothing in there currently?
If I get my wallet back, that would be awsome....

**Great news: I got it back! it was still in the bar and everything was there ^^

Your identity is as important as money, you know, Sagitar. In fact, even more than money. So I strongly suggest you freeze everything that needs to be frozen and report everything that needs reporting (nod).

I feel fer ya D:. Happened to me too. Sucked bigtime. And it's not even the money. Had ID's in there too...

I lost my purse/ wallet a long time ago, Except I had nothing in there but money so it wasn't a big of an issue as losing an adult purse.

you need to freeze your account(if your bank has that thing were, oh you don't have money but will let you get this anyway 'cause we don't know that your getting that now...)

Even if there's nothing in your bank you still need to report your wallet as being missing or stolen... they could try to overdraw your account and you'd have a hard time proving it wasn't you if it wasn't reported. Identity is very important too. You need to watch out for anything involving your SSN. With that, people can sign up for credit cards and other things with your name. I would certainly begin notifying people... call the police department, or better yet go down there to report it missing. They'll be able to let you know if it gets turned in, and what to do if it doesn't.

Also, think back to where you were yesterday. If you went to any stores or restaurants it's worth calling them to see if anyone turned in a wallet. Be prepared to tell them what it looks like and some of the contents. My friend left hers in a store and we were able to get it back after calling.

Good luck! Let us know if you find it *hugs*

It's awesome that you got it back ^.^
I would have frozen my account straight away and cancelled all my credit cards too.
Good job you didn't or you'd have a heck of a hassle getting them all replaced >.<
That must be a very good bar you went to xD

The best thing is to report to all your credit card companies and say that your wallet is missing. Even if you don't have money in it, it still leaves you open to identity theft.

This happens a lot, don't worry about it. Simply cancel your credict cards, because if someone finds it, they could be using it right now. :/ There aren't many nice people in the world, sadly, but maybe someone nice will find it. You never know.

Sure, thanks for the answers, but next time, read everything xP
I edited the first post about an hour later I made this thread, everything is fine, no need to freeze anything
