Hello and welcome to my hangout thread! I made this thread to talk to my Menewsha friends, and meet some new friends along the way. Even if I haven't met you before, please feel free to post!

Hello there! this is PlatinumChild, trying to introduce myself to you and failing miserably. I have many names and nicknames on the internet so be free to call me what you wish! (And for those with the urge to call me Platty or Plattypus, feel free, I get it a lot). I was born in southern California on September 5th, 1990, so... I'm 18 now. I don't like math. My favorite color is purple, especially the darker shades. I enjoy a good snickers bar but any chocolate will do if you're trying to tempt me into doing something. My hobbies include but are not limited to drawing, reading, chatting on the internet, collecting lovely pixels, and listening to music (sometimes all at the same time!)

I am currently a student at Otis College of Art and design, which is located almost right next to Los Angeles International Airport. Watching airplanes take off while waiting for class to start is oddly entertaining to me. Anyway! I hope to major in Digital Media, to become a concept artist. As of now, I have only completed my first semester, so I still have a ways to go!

If you'd like to know more about me feel free to ask. It gives me something else to write in this crummy introduction of mine.

The oriental fan was the very first item that I've received since I've been on Mene.

Darn. My brother saw it yesterday and I wanted to see it again too!

My uncle invited him and my little cousin to go see Journey to the Center of the Earth and I didn't really feel like watching that movie so I declined. But they ended up Watching Wall-E instead. *phail'd*
