its been awhile since i have been in the purple palace...anything new?
|
I'm slightly more mental, that count?
|
I can, you can, we all can, can-can...
|
Hiya!
|
I broke the J-chain. xD Lot of J-girls in here, eh?
|
*prit sticks a J in front of DeLish* :D There you go.
|
Jecy, you look so pretty....
|
Uh oh the purple palace has fallen into disrepare.
|
I think my thread collapses at the same time I do. I was going crazy the last few weeks with the amount of work I had. Still kind of crazy but it's when teachers slowly start to calm projects down just a touch. Also, thanksgiving next week~ <3
|
Hiya Platy!
It's good that things are settling out a bit for you... |
I got the whole week off of work for thanksgiving. Very excited, lots of time for Mene.
|
We're going to my step mother inlaw's place for Thanksgiving.
She said that she had 5 offers to go other places, but would rather stay at home, so could we come there? |
Yup more time to mess around XD
|
Why you nekkid, Plat? And why's this place so quiet?
|
Yea, what she said!
|
Heh, she's not nekkid anymore. :yumeh2:
Is everyone still sleeping from Thanksgiving dinner? |
I guess they must be.
I didn't have turkey though... we had ham. Can you imagine? What's Thanksgiving without turkey?! |
Thanksgiving without turkey is what my thanksgivings are like xD
|
I love turkey though.
And the only thing better than turkey is turkey leftovers! |
Loll I tell my aunt to make turkey but she just says turkey doesn't even taste that good xD
So we normally end up eating regular food haha |
Oh man, I think turkey and dressing and gravy are ambrosia....
Every year we say that we should do turkey more often. It's just that it's so much work! |
Fooooooooood
Turkey, beef, chicken, and bacon are the meats for me. And whatever meat is in gyros. Thanksgiving without turkey is giving without the thanks. It's cold, man. Cold as ice.
We went out to eat at a buffet. Yay. Crappy cranberry sauce and flavorless gravy on mashed potatoes. Bitter snap peas, unseasoned black-eyed peas. I look most forward to turkey, cranberry sauce, dressing, and sweet tea... ok that was going to be it, but I must go on... collard greens, mac and cheese, black-eyes peas, and I think that's it-- during Thanksgiving, but the majority of that was ruined at this place. I want home-cooked food next year! I'm gonna learn how to cook it and host my own gat-dang Thanksgiving! |
The turkey "meat" at a buffet is really gross....
More like mystery meat. |
The turkey was okay here. Whatever grazy stuff they put on it helped. And the crappy cranberry sauce was made okay when I paired it with the turkey like I liked. It's usually the meatloaf I'm worried about.
|
Most buffets have some chewy, stringy beef, or dried out ham.
The fried chicken isn't too bad though... |
