Hmm. There have been a couple.
Sirius Black from the Harry Potter series was the first, I think. I'm sure there have been plenty others while I'm reading, but as of right now I can only think of a few. (Heh, goes to show how loyal I am to said characters, huh?) -Nick Andros from Stephen King's The Stand -Stephen Dirge from the Kingdoms of Thorn and Bone by Greg Keyes -Anansi from both Anansi Boys and American Gods, by Neil Gaimen. (I know he's an old man, but oh my lord he is so adorably funny/evil/sadistic/sweet/just generally looking for a good time) -Anubis and Thoth from American Gods. -Aitrus from the MYST series. (Not Atrus mind you, his grandfather.) He was so sweet. That's all I can think of right now. Granted, there really haven't been a lot of character's I've fallen in love with. (Besides mine own and friends, really.) |

Richard Rhal From the Sword of truth series is one. He's just so strong, but down to earth. a country boy who's very resourcful. And handsome to boot. Who wouldn't love him? Others include Rhett Butler, Pierce Andrews (I want to name my child after him) And Jack I forget his last name. |

Not in an obseessed fan girl omg I love you! Sort of way but when i read aobut the character I feel all warm and fuzzy, or I wish they were real. One of the weirdest characters i;ve ever liked would have to be a character called 'raven' from Sheryll jordans book the raging quiet (a must read btw) He's a deaf teen (the story is set in the 10thy century) and because no one understood deafness the people of the town would whip him and try to 'beat the devils out of him' . Marnie the main character is new in the village and feels compassion to him and eventually discovers he cant hear they form a rudementary sign language and thier love blossoms, I guess it;s the way her's portrayed as being so innocent and care free that I love. Beautiful! Just beutiful! xD |

Uuuuugh, do I ever fall in love with book characters! I don't know all of the guys in all the books I've ever read that I've fallen in love with, but my romance novel collection definitely fits into that category right now.
The de Warenne brothers from Brenda Joyce's de Warenne Dynasty novels: Tyrell (most definitely), Devlin, and Cliff - all droolable from their model cover pictures. I love Tyrell the most! Cliff is probably second though. Alec McBride from Samantha James' Bride of a Wicked Scotsman. He's puuuuurty. I have tons more books, but those are the characters I'm so in love with. Gives me some way unrealistic standards on what kind of guy I wanna marry. I am not in love with Edward Cullen. I'm in love with Emmett : ) I would also say Mr. Darcy from Pride&Prejudice, but it doesn't count when the Darcy version I'm referring to is the one from the movie Bride&Prejudice! Yeah, I've got my crushes on fictional characters. I just can't remember who they are anymore! OMG I just realized that I totally forgot: I also adooooore Sir Percy Blakeney from The Scarlet Pimpernel. Otherwise my username would NOT be Marguerite Blakeney! How could I forget?! |

Absolutely, In every book I read. There has to be a character I fall in love with. I mean in EVERY book I read. My last book I read before I read the book I am currently reading, I fell in love with, fictionally speaking, Ariel. Because he is just a trapped soul and all he wants to do is get out. I mean typically speaking his soul is trapped in that forsaken theater. Yet, nobody can't free him and only one person could and he devotes his life to her. They eventually get on good terms and are now traveling together. I think the reason behind me picking him is because I feel exactly the same way. Trapped and yet nobody is going to free me, I am just stuck in this dimension without no help, nobody at all. I really mean Mentally and Physically. Eventually I'm going to lose all hope of what I am, I think I am, having hopes of and it'll just fall to pieces. Though I think that has already gone, I don't really know what I am here for, though I don't want to die anytime soon. I guess something like that. Uh, Too long?

I usually do fall in love with a character from every book I happen to read. Whether it be a guy or girl, I fall in love with the characters story and their world and everything. I'm just a dreamer though and love admiring art in any form.
I have to admit I did read the Twilight series, even with my boyfriend [no I did not force him], and I absolutely fell in love with Bella and Edward. [although Bella is downright stupid] I fell in love not with a guy and girl but with two characters and their life and love story. I fell in love with their bond and feelings. I fell in love with the story because in a way it was an amazing love story. Liking and falling in love with a character is different. Love is like your cheering for them on the sidelines and you imagine what will happen next and you start picturing what you want to happen next. I also fell in love with Jasper and Alice. Their love story was amazing and they had this bond that makes you wish you had one just like it with someone. |
