i havenot seen it yet, but if i get a chance i want to.
This would be better off in the main media forum, but I saw Mamma Mia and I loved it. :'D
Pierce Brosnan singing - weird as hell. x'D |
Indeed it would, so I will slide it in that general direction. :)
I saw it twice and that's about it ^^ I'll buy five copies of the DVD when it comes out <33333
I loved it!! <33 I agree though-- watching Pierce Brosnan sing was a bit awkward... i dunno.. it was weird..
but the movie was so cute! And the rest of the cast did a good job ^^ |
Pierce Brosnan's raspy singing voice got on my nerves. But DAMN did he look sexy in that polo shirt and white pants, ESPECIALLY with the sunlight streaming down on him!! *drools* I thought I was like...not a fan of Pierce Brosnan, but that really took the cake!
I haven't seen it yet... Can't wait!
I went out and bought the soundtrack today coz I really really wanted it. Now I know I'm not gonna stop listening to it! ^__^
I haven't seen it yet, is it really good??
YES it is! You have to go see it. Anybody who loves musicals, ABBA, and chick flicks, this is for you!
Well I didn't go gaga over Pierce Brosnan lol but it's annoying how infectuous this song can be. Abba is not on my list of listen-to's but it's been like echoing in my brain (no thanks to the TV trailers too). Not that it's a bad song.
That song from ABBA has been sining in my head since I saw the trailer for it. I want to see it but probably wait until it comes out on dvd.
Mama Mia was a great and wonderful movie! It was many laughs and really made my day to see.
Just one thing though, Pierce really can't sing at all. Other than eye candy, he pretty much wasn't that well suited for the role. He's not my kind of eye candy either though. Heh. But it was a great movie. I went with my mom and her friends and it was much enjoyable! |
I gotta agree with you about Brosnan, Crystal56. His voice STILL irritates me coz he tries too hard to sing but damn...he IS good eye candy. He should just keep quiet and stand there in the sunlight ^_^
i've seen it.i thought it would be one of those dumb chick flicks but i looooooved it to death.on youtube i have some of the track songs.my aunt got my mom the soundtrack of it after we all saw it so sometimes my dad plays it for my mom my sis and me just to here it but the funny thing is its my firts chick flick
LOL my mom and I were driving home, and I had the CD in my player in my car...we put it up to friggen volume 40 (or at least she did). I started moving to Dancing Queen and people were staring at us.
Like I even care! I loved it : ) and our windows were rolled down too XD |
lol.when i heard these three faaavorite songs of mine lay all your love on me,honey honey
gimme gimme gimme a man at midnight i just went crazy and started singing and dancing and humming and stuff and evryone just looked at me and i felt so embarrassed :) |
Ahaha, at the movie theater??
I saw it. It was one of the best movies I have ever seen. =] I've watched it twice already and I really want to watch it a third time in the theatres. =] It was like never ending ABBA hits. I loved it soo much!
i love it to death so cute and so funny i think Pierce did a pretty fantastic job i rather like it very cute and i loved all the songs!
I'm gonna go watch it again next weekend : ) Three movies on a Friday with three different people...is going to be overkill on my wallet.
I hate to say it but I saw it and was pretty good and frickin halarious
>> in all else I loved it. |
XD Okay, now I wanna know, does anybody have a specific favorite part of this movie? I know we all love it so far those who posted on the thread. Or what's your favorite funny moment?
Favorite moment: "And...Dot, dot, DOT!!" Favorite musical numbers for me are "Dancing Queen" and "Does Your Mother Know?" Worst moment: Bootstrap Bill's butt. |
I liked it all right. Quite a lot of it was (for me) pretty forgettable, but there were several scenes that I absolutely loved!
-Lay All Your Love On Me -Voulez-Vous -the end of Dancing Queen Does Your Mother Know? was pretty funny as well. I almost got to see it in Washington DC live. That would've been so much fun. |
