In order to try and break the tension Lily leaned over the table to reach for a block. She moved slowly so she wouldn't topple the building over or distract anyone else from their conversation. A breath let out when she retrieved one successfully. She flipped the block over and read it.

"Kissing waterfall. Everyone kiss the person to your right as long as you want. " She paused a moment and gasped. She forgot all about keeping quiet to not disturb anyone else. Her eyes lit up when she turned to her right. "MISHA! Looks like we have to obey the block."

Lily reached over to grasp Misha in a surprise attack to throw her arms around his neck and try to press her lips to his.

Dimitri Bloodbane 09-14-2008 06:05 AM

Krad groaned and rested his forehead in the palm of his hand as he shook his head back and forth a bit. Krad's intention wasn't to anger Misha or anything like that. Simply to remind Misha of his standing on the subject.

"I apologize Misha. I understand that you've had a rough life, but you know what my life has been like, too. You have at least some idea of the hell I went through for so many centuries. Sometimes my life catches up with me and makes me put up my defenses. I did not intend to disrespect you."

Krad turned his attention to Lily after that, but still didn't raise his head.

"No, Lily, I'm not bi... And what is a 'kissing waterfall'?"

Rusalka 09-14-2008 06:23 AM

Misha blinked at the new addition startled a moment even with Lily flinging herself onto him. But still he held her back easily for a moment to look at Krad, the look in his eyes softening a bit. He leaned forward a moment closer to Krad. "I know you're straight Krad, but the block only said to list not to physically do the action.. If it had I would have rather removed my shirt.. having to have chosen a girl. I'm about as dead set about not being with a girl as you are with other men.. That doesn't mean I won't claim my price for the blood."

He glanced over to Lily as he said the thing about a girl, but just as he'd stated that Krad still had to and seeing as Rae even pointed out that a kiss really meant nothing. He supposed he'd have to do his share, new block or not. "Kissing waterfall, I presume means everyone has to kiss around the table.. and as Lily read off the block for as long as the kisser to the left wants.."

Though with Lily he knew it would mean more than nothing, what with knowing the girl already dreamt about him.. now she'd have something else to amuse herself to remember. He let the girl go and resigned himself to the fact he'd have to kiss her and did so.

rampartte 09-14-2008 06:32 AM

Rae rolled her eyes as Krad back peddled and apologized, she wouldn't have let him off the hook as easily as Misha just had, but then she didn't know all the things Misha knew about the vampire either.

On the other hand Rae forgot the whole thing when she heard what block was pulled, someone had managed to find her special block! Rae's eyes lit up with a sly grin, nodding as Misha explained what it meant. As he resigned to let Lily kiss him and his lips became busy, Rae added in her own two cents in a chirpy and all together back to happy happy voice. No trace of that icy glare as he was grinning at Krad now.

"Oh, in a drinking game when you get waterfall everyone at the table drinks until the person to their left stops. It's kind of like that, only the person to your left gets to kiss you as much as they want." Rae was feeling like the sneaky champion here. Sure she'd have to kiss Krad again, but after that other block the vampire had pulled, she didn't see him making a huge ordeal over kissing her a second time. He'd probably just be trying to rub the boy's taste off with her mouth, which made her chuckle a little. Either way, she was not going to let either Misha or Krad to refuse this block, if she had anything to say about it!

Bani 09-14-2008 11:29 PM

Lily was in complete heaven! Kissing Misha, FUN! She wouldn't have stopped unless Lydia hadn't have tapped Lily's shoulder with words from their mother.

"You know what mom says about the cow and no one buying it when the milk is free."

Lily pulled away from Misha, releasing her arms grasp around his neck. "Fine fine. All I need is a peck from Misha to be happy." She fanned her face to calm her blushing cheeks as she smiled at her kissing partner. "You're so yummy."

Rusalka 09-15-2008 03:23 AM

Misha had been getting bored of the kiss, the lack of excitement he felt stopping him from at least enjoying it a little. So when she pulled away he looked a bit relieved though a smirk played on his lips as Lily pulled away with bush covered cheeks. Raising a brow at the girl asking a question he wouldn't wait for anyhow.

"If a peck was all you needed, why did you go longer?"

Misha's attention moved on though to look to his right. Even with the small blow up earlier, part of the reason he hadn't refused was to carry on to this point. He didn't wait for Krad to say anything about the explanations of what Kissing Waterfall meant, Misha only wondered for a moment if it even registered to the man yet. Like Rae though he pulled Krad towards him and pressed lips against lips.

Dimitri Bloodbane 09-15-2008 03:39 AM

Krad opened his eyes and looked at Rae with an arched eyebrow.

"Wait...what?? Person to the left... As long as they want?? You mean...?"

Before Krad had a chance to complete his question, he was distracted from the topic as the person sitting to his left grabbed hold of the shirt he was wearing, much like Rae had done earlier, and pulled him towards his left. Without thinking, he looked at that person just in time for Misha to press his lips firmly against Krad's lips. It took a second as realization and shock set in, then Krad's arms started flailing everywhere to his sides.

"Mmpff?? MMPF MPFF MMMMMPFFFFFFFF!!!!!"

Rusalka 09-15-2008 04:14 AM

Misha had a hard time not stopping the kiss to laugh at Krad's antics, instead though he remained and would definitely do so until the man resigned to the fact he'd have to at least seem interested in kissing back. He leaned in closer though and a finger poked the man's side. He wanted at least as good a kiss as Rae had gotten and he wouldn't give up until he got it.

He parted his lips some tongue lightly flicking across Krad's closed ones teasing him and showing the man what he wanted without having to stop and speak.

Dimitri Bloodbane 09-15-2008 04:59 AM

Krad felt Misha poke him in the side, and he also felt Misha's tongue tracing across his lips. Trying to remain as calm as possible, but still in a panic, Krad thought back to the command listed on the block that Lily had read: "Kissing waterfall. Everyone kiss the person to your right as long as you want." The command had stated "as long as you want", but it failed to state the TYPE of kiss. Krad certainly didn't like being bullied in any fashion, just like Misha didn't like being bullied. The kiss that Rae had received from Krad may have seemed forceful, but she was the one that started it by yanking Krad into the kiss to begin with.

Krad's eyes, once wide with shock, were now narrowing as resentment started to set in and his defenses started to go up again. His arms stopped flailing, but his muscles were still taunt with strain. Krad had finally resigned himself that he had no choice but to allow Misha to kiss him, but he wasn't about to open his mouth to give Misha's tongue access. While a kiss may have meant nothing to some of the people at this table, it still held some meaning to Krad, being part incubus. If the others couldn't understand that, then that was their problem to deal with, not Krad's.

Rusalka 09-15-2008 05:20 AM

Misha tried to wait the man out but he bored. At least the flailing Krad was amusing in the least, now the resigned one was merely frustrating him to fall back into the mood he had been earlier. He pulled away slowly, his eyes narrowed at those resentful ones. He didn't much care if they man had grown resentful, he supposed he had some reason to as well..

"If that had been any good, I would have considered it your payment." Misha told Krad, ignoring the fact he'd somewhat forgave the man earlier Misha sat back in his own chair and fumed a bit to himself. It looked almost as if he were moping as well, but really he just wanted to stand up an leave the game altogether.

rampartte 09-15-2008 05:37 AM

Rae had to laugh at Lydia acting all motherly across the table to her twin sister and Lily's statement that 'Misha was yummy". When Misha grabbed Krad and kissed him though, all of Rae's attention focused on the only two men in the room. She was grinning ear to ear, watching with the other girls as Misha finally got his kiss. She was happy for Misha, though she knew he really wouldn't get anything more from Krad, the boy had really needed a small physical break from reality. Being a gay boy in these parts were lonely and tough enough as it was.

As the kiss continued on her grin shrank a little and turned to a curious frown as all she could clearly see from her point was Misha's face and he was looking really unhappy in the kiss. She watched silently and when their lips finally broke apart Rae was very silent, looking from Misha to Krad with narrowed eyes.

By order of the game Krad had to turn and kiss Rae now, but he wasn't welcomed with a playful grin for this kiss. He got Rae's tight lips and glare instead. She wasn't happy with how he'd just treated Misha. Sure.. she really was thinking about Misha's feelings over Krad's, but Misha was her boy and Krad was still the new occupant she was unsure about. She wasn't going to welcome him into her home though if he couldn't even find it in himself to be kind to Misha. Her eyes showed it.

Dimitri Bloodbane 09-15-2008 05:39 AM

Krad rolled his eyes and shook his head a bit at Misha's comment. The tone of voice that he used to speak was calm, a little too calm.

"Is that all you can think about? Getting your damn 'payment'? Trust me, you'll get your blasted payment, but that payment is yours, and yours alone. It's not for everyone else's pleasure. But, the more you or anyone else tries to force your payment out of me, the longer it'll take to receive."

Krad turned to Rae and gave her a light peck on the cheek to fulfill his part of the command, but that was it. Krad sat back in his chair and crossed his arms, wanting nothing more than for the game to end as well so he could leave the table and this game behind him.

Rusalka 09-15-2008 05:53 AM

Misha glowered at Krad after the man's comment. He stood up suddenly to leave without a word but changed his mind his hands found their way to the back of Krad's chair leaning over to speak in his ear. Where his tone wasn't angry before, it certainly was now.

"Here I was being kind with that thought. One kiss for one pint of blood and I had thought I'd be nice and let that be your one kiss. This is a game, no one's forcing payments I thought I'd just allow you to have merely one. I'd have thought you could have learned math in all the centuries you've been alive, straight boy as you I thought you'd want to get away with only one rather than two.

"I'll know not to try to be nice to you again though."

Misha straightened and gave a small smile to Rae. "I'm sorry but I've lost the mood to play, I'm just going to head up to my room for the night."

Misha left them to their game with a sigh and did find his way to disappear behind the closed door of his bedroom.

Dimitri Bloodbane 09-15-2008 05:59 AM

Krad rolled his eyes and stood up, turned, and walked away from the table. As in the past before he arrived here at the inn, he reverted to the frame of mind that he no longer cared what others thought of him. Very few in his life had ever stopped to take his feelings into consideration, and the rest only cared for their own feelings. It started to seem that things hadn't changed much from then to now. Without another word to anyone, Krad walked up to his room and shut the door behind him. He didn't go to bed, however. Instead, he walked out onto the balcony outside his room and leaned against the railing to stare off into the night.

rampartte 09-15-2008 06:10 AM

Rae blinked at the kiss to her cheek then furrowed her brows when Misha suddenly got up, whispered something to Krad, then stalked off for the night.

"Misha!"

Then there went the other man of the house, stalking off in his own direction, also apparently done with the game. Rae looked after them for a moment a little dumbfounded, then turned to the girls left at the table with her, her shoulders hunched up in a defeated pose. "I messed up, didn't I?"

Rusalka 09-15-2008 06:32 AM

Though the two seemed so different they had a similar idea what to do with the night. Misha had shed his shirt but he didn't head to bed, but headed to his balcony to stare at the view before him. Though there was a chair he sat on the ground leaning against the cool stone as he stared at the ocean he needed to calm his mind some.

He wondered about why he was always trying to be nice to every person he met. He just wanted to keep them happy, it was the only thing that kept Misha happy as well. He pulled stunts such as donating blood to Krad and taking him on a shopping spree for an entire wardrobe to at least try to get to know the vampire... Make friends with him. Sure he wanted his kiss as payments of sort, he could try to hope for one thing for himself. Couldn't he?

He'd told Krad if the man made him wait that he'd ask for more.. He wouldn't actually go through with that, he just didn't want to wait. What's one kiss? If the vampire actually wanted to befriend the girls to the point that they'd be willing to donate themselves then Krad would at least have to show some friendliness towards him. Part of that entailed showing that he was willing to pay the needed price. If they were willing then the man didn't need to worry about having to always pay the price of a kiss with Misha for blood... That is if the man decided to stay around long...

Misha sighed his amber eyes looking up to the sky. He felt them sting but he ignored it. He was really just trying to be a nice guy, he failed to see what was wrong with it.

Aryah_Jade 09-15-2008 03:16 PM

Michi had failed to grasp much of the undertones of the night. Instead, she'd been more occupied with her glass of water, and trying not to look anyone in the eyes. Every time she did her cheeks would get warm.

She did find the overall conversations intensely amusing however, and had to cover her mouth to keep from bursting with laughter. Michi stopped laughing when Krad and Misha kissed, however. That act alone was like flipping a switch on the mood in the room. In fact, it was practically palpable. She wasn't laughing when Misha stood up and left the room, and Krad left soon after, either. She'd been watching the exchange between the two boys, but had tried to remain as neutral as possible. In truth however, she'd ended up looking tight-lipped. And her eyes were slightly glazed over as if she'd been staring off into space, until the two left the room. Then, she stared, wide-eyed and open-mouth, watching the two leave. And, she was unable to find the words to express just how confused she was.

After the two boys had left Misha found herself looking at the girls, as if asking the question they all seemed to be thinking....

"Wow... I guess the game is over then?" Michi arched an eyebrow as she asked the question, and combed her fingers through her thick hair, which had become rather wild in the cooler evening air.

Dimitri Bloodbane 09-16-2008 01:41 AM

Krad calmed down a bit and decided to change his clothes. He walked back into his room from the balcony and unbuttoned the shirt he was wearing. Then, he remembered that the clothes he was wearing weren't his, but Misha's instead. He knew that he needed to return Misha's clothes to him, but Krad wanted to steer clear of Misha for a while. Misha was already in a foul mood, as was Krad, and the two of them being near one another would more than likely have a bad outcome. Krad removed the shirt and folded it up as neatly as he could and set it on the bed. Then he unfastened the pants and removed them as well. He folded the pants up and set them on the bed next to the shirt. Krad then turned his attention to his closet, which was now teeming with clothing. Krad simply pulled a pair of black jeans and a white pullover shirt out of the closet and donned the clothing without thinking much about it. After he was dressed again, Krad walked over to the bed and picked up the shirt that Misha had allowed him to borrow, and set it on top of the jeans, also borrowed from Misha. Krad then picked the shirt and jeans up, and slipped out of his room.

Krad stealthily moved down the hallway, making no sound at all, and set the shirt and jeans down on the floor, just outside of Misha's door. Misha would be sure to see the clothes as soon as he opened his door, unless he was in the habit of sleepwalking. Krad then moved back to his own room just as stealthily as he had a moment ago, softly shutting his door behind him.

Now that that was out of the way, Krad decided that it was time to let off some steam. And what better way to do that then to practice his blade training? Krad walked over to his knapsack and pulled two short swords, each sheathed inside of their own leather scabbard, out of the bag. Krad then took hold of his nodachi and headed back to his balcony. Making sure to leave the door leading from the room to the balcony open, Krad hopped over the railing and dropped to the ground below. It would be no problem for Krad to leap back up to the balcony once he was finished with his training for the night.

Bani 09-16-2008 02:44 AM

Lily sighed when the boys left the table. "Men tend to have a lot of emotions don't they?" Sometimes she forgot to what extent they did get upset. There were really only girls at the house after all. It was only from guys that she had seen storming out of the room in anger. If she fled a room it was because she was crying and needed to get away.

"So nice to have all that anger and sex appeal running around everywhere. It makes the house more exciting doesn't it?"

Lydia smiled at Michi and nodded her head. "I suppose so." She figured everyone would be going to their rooms to sleep now.

"I can clean up the mess. I'll be up for awhile. I want to finish my book."

rampartte 09-16-2008 04:37 AM

Rae's shoulders relaxed when none of the girls seemed terribly upset and she gave a helpless shrug in Michi's direction. "I suppose so... here." With a little grin she leaned forward, her ample cleavage resting on the table so she could poke the remaining wobbly tower of jenga blocks and made the whole thing spill over. "Now, the game is over."

Rae leaned back with a yawn, rolling her eyes a little at Lily but smirked at the same time. "Sometimes Lily, I wonder if you got double the perversion and left your sister none." She chuckled, teasing the pink haired twin. Rae stood and rolled her neck left, then right and sighed, leaving Lydia to clean up because frankly the girl offered and she didn't want to.

"I think I'm going to go relieve some of my stress with a nice steamy pastime."

Aryah_Jade 09-16-2008 04:57 PM

Michi watched as Rae knocked over the tower, and stared at it for a few seconds with a sullen expression. When she finally spoke again, it was as though she'd forgotten all about why the game had ended.

"That's very nice of you, Lydi." Michi smiled at Lydia. Normally she would have offered to help, but she was just too tired. Michi stood up and yawned, then arranged her cups and napkins so that they would be easier for Lydia to clean up.
"I'm heading to bed then. Good night, everyone." Michi made her way slowly to her room, closing the door softly behind her. She didn't head to bed right away though. First, she went to the bathroom to wash her face, and brush her hair. Once finished, she shut out the light, and worked on putting her hair into a loose braid as she walked toward her bed which was on the opposite side of the room. On her way there, however, she spotted a shadow landing on the ground outside.

Michi pursed her lips in annoyance as she ventured closer to the mirror, sweeping her braid back over her shoulder. She may not have been a model for the abilities of a vampire, but she could still see quite well in the dark. The figure she had seen became more clear as she watched. Michi's eyebrows knitted together. It was Krad, and he was obviously up to something. Michi may not have understood all of what had happened with him this evening, but she knew that he'd been upset when he left the game. As had Misha. So, then, what in the world was he up to, running around in the dark?

"Silly boys." Michi sighed, and decided to leave him alone. It wasn't any of her business after all. Michi changed into the long shirt she used as a night gown and climbed into bed. It wasn't long before she drifted into a mono-chromatic dream land.

Dimitri Bloodbane 09-16-2008 07:30 PM

Krad set down his short swords, still in their sheaths, on a table surrounded by chairs. Obviously, this table and chair set was intended for guests who wished to rest while outside, but didn't want to be in the nearby hot tub. Krad then held his nodachi up to untie the strap wrapped around the end, which was still holding the end of the length of cloth over as a flap. After untying the strap, Krad pulled his nodichi out, along with it's scabbard, and set the cloth on the table along with the short swords.

Krad held his nodachi up to admire the craftsmanship on the scabbard. Unlike most scabbards, this one was made out of some kind of metal, not a plastic, wood, or leather. The scabbard had a black finish on it, but it still managed to show all the etched details. The end of the scabbard was unique as well. Instead of a flat or blunt end, this scabbard had a sharp tip on it, almost like a long talon from a huge bird of prey. Krad could use this scabbard as another weapon along with his nodachi. A second advantage to having this particular type of scabbard was the fact that, used properly, it could actually help Krad to draw the four foot long blade out of it. Normally, it would be quite a chore for a single person to draw a nodachi out of it's scabbard.

Krad held the nodachi scabbard, still sheathing the sword, in his left hand with the tip pointing down. He then shoved the tip of the nodachi into the ground next to where he was standing. He didn't stop until about two feet of the scabbard was plunged into the ground. Krad took hold of the hilt of the nodachi and pulled the sword over his head and out of the scabbard. The blade of the nodachi gleamed in the moonlight, but the blade was abnormal as well. Instead of the normal silver color that most swords have, this one had a black color instead, almost as if the blade were cut from a huge chunk of onyx. The area of the blade that was ground down to an extremely sharp edge was a different color altogether, though. Still, it was not silver. Instead, the sharpened edge was a crimson red color, which reflected the light from the moon like blood from a fresh wound. These colors were the natural colors of the metal, though. The metal that the blade was made out of was unknown, even to the maker of the sword. Not much of this rare metal was found, either. Barely enough was found to forge the nodachi and the twin short swords that Krad owned.

Krad started to swing his sword, attacking imaginary opponents as the blade of the nodachi sang through the air. The song of the nodachi and of his short swords were a beautiful, melodic tune to Krad's ears. Krad spun around and moved back and forth as he swung the nodaci, almost as if Krad were dancing to the singing of his sword.

rampartte 09-16-2008 10:34 PM

Rae watched Michi walk off with a pout, not having caught her, then grinned at the twins and came around the table to grab each one up in a hug. "Good night darlin's! Come out for a steamy dip if you want."

Rae gave them a wink then headed upstairs herself to her own room. Only she didn't go up to change for bed. Locking her door behind her, Rae slipped out of her camisole and dress and into one of her varied swimsuit sets. A white and red flowered tankini top that tied like a halter top around her neck was paired with a bright red string bikini bottom. Making sure all the ties were knotted tight Rae wriggled her toes into a pair of spa beaded flip flops and headed out into the hall.

But she had a small pit stop before heading downstairs. Rae headed over to Michi's door and lightly knocked.. no answer. She pouted at the wall of wood and leaned her ear close to the door, knocking again before she rolled her eyes and strutted back to her room. Leave it to Michi to fall asleep right away, she'd just return the girl's necklace tomorrow. Leaving it on her dresser to remember it, Rae headed back downstairs now. She peeked in one Lydia and Lily to see how they were cleaning up, giving them a quick smile and wave before she headed outside.

The peace and quiet of the back yard was disturbed by the dim lights of the back porch suddenly turning on as if a warning signal, then the slight creek of the door opening and the thud of Rae's feet padding out onto the porch.

Rae may not always help in cleaning and such, but she wasn't lazy. She kept keen order of the establishment, making sure the house was always up to date and safe and things didn't go missing, so strange objects sitting on her patio tables caught her gray eyes right away. She glanced over to the hot tub, then back to the table and caught glints of something the moonlight kept flashing off of. With a frown she squinted her eyes and leaned forward, then fearlessly moved down off the porch heading straight for them to see what the weird lumps on the table were and what was making that glow.

Rusalka 09-17-2008 02:47 AM

Misha was feeling sorry for himself once more, a common occurrence when he got upset. He was itching to do something to take his mind off of his problems, he stood up almost ready to disappear to the kitchen when the porch lights below flashed on. He walked to the edge of the balcony looking down to see Rae come out in a swim suit, he also spotted the flashes that she was heading towards and his eyes narrowed some as he recognized in the darkness, Krad.

He leaned on the rail for a moment though to watch, in it's own way it was beautiful to watch. Misha only had minimal skill with the sword as part of his martial arts training in the past. He never kept that skill up, but even if he had.. he was never that good with it. Though he supposed centuries of training beat into the vampire assassin would be the reason the man moved so well with such a long blade.

Dimitri Bloodbane 09-17-2008 03:42 AM

As Krad continued to practice his blade training, he caught the presence of somebody who was sneaking up on him. Krad pretended not to notice this person until they were within his range. When the time was right, Krad spun around as he swung the blade of his nodachi at the same time. The very tip of the blade stopped a hair's width from the throat of the person that Krad recognized the moment they came into his vision. This was NOT a person that Krad was pleased to see, though. His lips curled into a sneer and his words fairly dripped with hatred as he spoke.

"...Instructor... What in bloody hell are you doing here?..."

The man that had the tip of Krad's nodachi pointed at his throat did not seem to be worried in the least, as if he had the situation completely under control. Showing no fear, he spoke in a haughty voice.

"Ah, Kradnathgil. I certainly didn't expect to find you in this little town. I thought that was you, but I wasn't positive, since the color of your hair and eyes are different. Is this your human guise?"

Without waiting for Krad to answer, the man spoke over his shoulder instead.

"This is Kradnathgil, class. He, like all of you, is a half vampire. He was trained by the best of the best and is second to none. Well, except for myself and the ten captains, that is. He has fallen from us, though. He seems to think that we weren't good enough for him, and he left us behind."

Krad then noticed what he was too distracted to notice earlier since he was keeping track of the man in front of him. Hidden in the wooded area near the inn were more people, numbering around twenty, watching from a safe distance. One of them was drawing nearer, though. A woman in her late teens to early twenties. Well, she appeared to be that age, anyway. If she was half vampire, like Krad was, then there was no telling how old she actually was.
